A little help on multiple monitors...

I'll try to explain what I need help on the easiest way possible.

I connected my macbook pro to another LCD monitor I have at home. In this way when I'm working on sites I have something on my monitor and another thing on my Mac. My question is...

I see that on WINDOWS, the whole program (Dreamweaver or Photoshop, illustrator, blah blah blah) is in a single window. Which means that I can drag on a monitor or the other. How can I make these programs get on a window as WINDOWS (OS). I can drag my browsers, iTunes, steam and other applications between each monitor, but I can not do it with adobe products.

Any help?

Hi sppanch007. Welcome to the Adobe user forums!

Certainly you can drag components of the Dreamweaver application, such as the panels (and Panel groups) and document windows and drag them between your monitors.

In doing so, you could create a custom workspace that has all the panels and other desired and then places the record by going to window > layout workspace > new workspace.

There is a "Dual Screen" layout you can try to give you a starting point.

A little more info on re - organize the workspace:

http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/CS/using/WS8599BC5C-3E44-406c-9288-C3B3BBEB5E88.ht ml

If you want the application works differently, such that it has its own framework (such as applications on Windows do), then please tell the Dreamweaver development team:

  • Want to Phoenix h9: HP Envy H9 Phoenix - multiple monitors

No Windows 10 option above, but it's a question that began with Windows 8 and continues with Windows 10.

I have a h9 Phoenix envy that I am very satisfied, but have had trouble with multiple monitors.  I can't find any documentation on the adding more than two monitors.  I have one running on the HDMI connector and another through the DVI.  But the addition of a third monitor became a mystery.  There are two additional DVI connections, but both were covered and when the updated seem to be connected to anything internal.  They are somewhat obscured by the food, and I'd rather not shoot to see the back side, I don't have to.

Then, there are two additional Minies connections on the same card that DVI and HDMI connectors that I use on the first two monitors.  However, I can't find any documentation on the mini type connectors (like maybe mini DVI) I can find no cable to adapt.

Is there something in the BIOS that must be returned to activate more ports?  Three monitors is not an option in the configuration current/components?  Can I add another video card supporting three monitors?  I have the AMD Radeon HD series 7900 graphics card.

It seems a waste to throw away when it works so well otherwise!  He performmed flawlesly with the migration of Windows 10 and could last a little longer.

    @HawkeEye

I suggest that you try an what AMD approved DP to HDMI adapter activewhich also works with AMD EyeFinity.

There may be a ' I gottcha "If the AMD 7900 is an OEM HP card. HP in the past has used decorum for AMD graphics cards drivers so using a retail AMD driver could be a problem, or it might work.

  • Multiple monitors put in place

I'm trying to set up multiple monitors on my desktop HP P6674y.  He has the card ATI Radeon4200 Video w / outputs both VGA and DVI on the back, and I'm the undertanding is able to handle this.

I have two monitors of AOC 2436vh I tested individually and when hung directly via the VGA port on the office work perfectly.  However, when even try doing them individually on the DVI port, they show no signal.

When you try to hang together, I obviously I am not able to see the screen appear as being recognized by the computer.

Told me that I needed to change the settings of the graphics card to have two ports activated somewhere, but I don't know how to make that happen.

Can someone please help, because I really want to get these views together as soon as I can in my workplace?

    Thank you!

Try this article.  There are different types of DVI <>- VGA adapter and this could be the cause, if this isn't the right adapter type.  It is one of the reasons why I do not recommend the use of adapters.

If you use a discrete video card then the video ports motherboard are disable by bios when a PCI-E x 16 video card is detected.

  • Multiple monitors: VGA laptop to Westinghouse TV

I have an Acer Apire 5920. My warranty has run out of earlier. I got a virus in August and had to do a full restore. I used the DVD of Windows XP instead of Vista which was OEM on my Acer when I bought it. Right now I have Win XP Home Edition 32 bit. I had to download all my drivers on the Acer site.

    My question:
When I plug the VGA of the laptop and the TV it says no Signal on the TV. When I arrived at the display settings in the Properties menu I have only 1 screen. It says "display:" (default monitor) on
It doesn't let me change to another. I think that I have an Intel graphics card.

  • Move windows between multiple monitors

    Move windows between multiple monitors

You can easily extend your Windows desktop across multiple monitors. A display that spans two monitors or more significantly increases your screen area so that you can drag windows and program icons anywhere on the desk of theextended.

By default, when you connect another monitor, the image of your desktop appears on each monitor display. Before you can drag a window from one display to another, you must change your display setting toExtended. For more information, see Set up multiple monitors.

  • Vista and multiple monitors

I'm using Vista Ultimate 32 bit system. When I created multiple monitors on my laptop my screen saver does not work.  I put it in the slideshow personalized with photos of my images. When the time for the screen saver activate the screen turns black with a procession of white dashes strung on black screen and has a long delay in retune to active screen when embarrassing. I've been to monitor manufacturing webite and I have the latest drivers. They say MS problem with Vista which they have many complaints on this subject.

Try using a simple screensaver as the starfield and see if it works better - maybe it has problems with the customized version.

  • Windows 10 - no multiple monitors?

Currently using Workstation V.9 and have a virtual machine (vm) with Windows 7.  I have 2 monitors and the current vm Win7 has no problem with covering the display on the 2 monitors.  I recently "cloned" my Win7 and then the 10 Windows have improved in this regard.  Everything worked well, got the active Win10, etc. But now although I specifically put the virtual machine to display '2 monitors' settings, it doesn't let me scroll through screens and use both monitors. It displays only in a monitor.  If I go into display Windows 10 settings, it don't shows only a single monitor and when I click on "detect", it says 1 only detected display.  So apparently 10 Windows will not see my second monitor for some reason any.  My Win7 vm has no problem with 2 monitors.  Even when I run both Win7 and Win10 vm at the same time, the Win7 uses both monitors and win 10 will not.

I tried to uninstall Workstation 9 and install VM Player 12.  Charge of the vm Win10 and the same thing... without detected multiple monitors.

Y at - there a trick to getting the VM Win10 to recognize (and use) my second monitor?  It drives me crazy.  If I can't get multiple monitors to work, I'm stuck using Win 7!

Thanks for any help, someone might have.

    Thank you for using WS.

can you try to re-install VMtools on your vm win10?

  • Problem with the mouse when having double (multiple) monitors follow-up.

I'll start with the configuration of the computer:

The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1

Guest operating system is Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Service Pack 1

    VMware Workstation Version 8.0.0 build-471780

When I have multiple monitors allowed (the resolution is 1920 x 1080), I can't use the second monitor correctly.  In my setup main monitor is on the right, but the question I have also occurs when the primary monitor is on the left.

In the screen below, I move my mouse to the center of the title bar and click and hold to drag the window.

    1.png

In this screen, you can see the outline of the window I am dragging to the left.  My mouse is now located to the left of the screen to the right about to cross the box to the left of the monitor.

    2.png

You can't see the mouse in the image 3 below, but I'm still it moves horizontally to the left.  The outline of the window, howvever, moves to the right and downwards.

    3.png

In this image of 4th, it is difficult to see the window is now pretty close at the bottom of the screen to the right, but my mouse is completely to the left.

    4.png

The last image shows that when I bring my mouse to the right (primary) screen, the window comes up to proper placement.

    5.png

Another finding is that, so Oh the right browser window and I just move my mouse to the left screen, the mouse will change the pointer and the browser would show the link in the bar which position of the mouse would be poorly determined to be on the right screen on a link in the browser State.

Everything works fine if I keep just to single screen.

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

    Ed

OK, I've seen the same behavior with:

    Host OS 64-bit Ubuntu 11.04

The OS Windows XP SP3 32-bit

    VMware Player 4.0.1 528992 build

workaround that fixed it was uninstall VMware Tools on the guest (8.8.1 build-528969), reboot,.

then install again with the host operating system were two connected monitors

the upgrade of Joueur3 Joueur4, HW comments to 8.0 and upgrade update: tools, everything has been done with a single monitor for the host operating system... maybe something went wrong then.
