A model (Group) around an object of packaging

I work with a model as a houndstooth fabric and want to wrap around the "tissue" bolt where it comes and then have it curl inward at the free end. Photo of the label coming off one can...

  • Wrapping text around an object group

I use CS 6 and when I have an image without text to top group and try to wrap the text around the object group my text disappears. I am referring to the text which is superimposed on the picture, not the text that I drove around the object. I don't have this problem in earlier versions of InDesign. What I am doing wrong?

  • A * long * oribiting text 3D around an object?

There are many tutorials where we can see how to make a text in orbit around another object. Here is an example of the text around the sphere. My question is - how do exactly the same, but with the text longer that could fit on the circle around the object?

For an example, let's say we have the text: "Marry Christmas and a happy new year!" (or a much longer message). Because all the text cannot fit on the circle, only a shortest substring can take place on the circle at some point in time:

    Marry Christmas and a ha

    arry Christmas and a pad

    carry Christmas and a happ

    Ry Christmas and a happy

    etc.

Here, of course, would be a discontinuity in the text on the circle (ongoing) - but he could hide behind the object.

I could imagine making a way in the form of Ribbon long enough to contain the entire text and the party abandoned the Ribbon hidden behind the object, then it would look like the desired - but I wonder If there is a way to scroll long text on the path closed circular .

Create a new model, the height of your string of text with the same width as your main computer.

Add your long text string and dont worry this case may extend beyond the limits of the model. Animate the position of a text layer so that it crosses the screen.

In a new publication import model of the text and apply CC cylinder twice. Put the layer you want to obscure the text between the two instances of CC cylinder and set one to render inside and the other to return to the outside.

    Quite. EZ as pie.

  • Grey outline around the objects when exporting to Photoshop

    Hello

I have a strange issue when exporting with a simple badge that I'm working on Illustrator to Photoshop.

Everything seems well within the Illustrator, but when I select my creation and copy and paste into Photoshop, then as a "dynamic object" or "pixels", I get a strange gray outline around the objects that should be hidden.

I think that the problem is more on the side of Photoshop.

Rasterize the objects in Illustrator; no visible lines.

Pixelation in Photoshop; the Ant-aliasing artifacts.

It is easy to reproduce: put a couple of black oval overlaid. Use Pathfinder > divide

Now you have perfectly fitting distinct forms.

Copy and paste into Photoshop; lines.

Rasterize them (or use the pixelation effect) in Illustrator, copy and paste it into Photoshop. no lines.

  • String of text around an object?

Hello! I tried to create a box around a shape, in this case a car. It's a bit like making a text to wrap an object autour , not along it, not on the border. I want the text to be everywhere, except on the object.

But every time I have to create the path and click the cursor somewhere on the way to work the text comes from if poster normally and don't deform. I saw a lot of videos on YouTube all that but they never wrap the text around the object in its entirety, they make the text box on one side. Is it possible to create the area of text around the object in its entirety and not only on either the left or right of it?

    Info:

I chose the path of work before you click in it.

I tried to make a selection in shape, but it did not work like that either.

I use the latest update of Photoshop CC Windows 8.1.

    whi.jpg

No, this cannot be done unless you manually insert spacing. The text ends only the path from the inside, and the path cannot be a complex path with a hole in the middle where the car is.

  • A text will not wrap around the object. Some does. Anyone?

I worked in InDesgin (currently the CS6 for Mac) for many years. I'm not an expert, but fairly well-versed and comfortable with the program. I think I know almost everything about the wrapping of text and its options and how it works. But it drives me crazy.

I have an imported MSWord part of the text. I have an item I want to insert in the text. Normal procedure. Easy. But this text will NOT wrap around the object. What about other texts? Yes. Other text in the document wrap around that object even very well.

I rebooted the computer and the program. Check the settings as much as I can think and even spruced up the document from scratch as a MS Word document. Yet, no film.

This happened to someone? What is going on? Help.

Check the options of text block for the text that will not wrap. Ignore text dresses it is checked?

  • Groups and add objects

Is there a way to add an object to an existing group, without having to ungroup them, regroup and rename the Group?

    Hi Jay,.

By selecting the 'Group' option in the menu context or changing once multi by selecting the existing group with the object allows you to add new items to the existing group without separate it.

  • To group the existing objects by using script API?

Am I missing something, or is at - it no way to group the existing objects using the api script? You can add GroupItems (), but that does not help you with existing objects.

You have probably not to duplicate the element, which is just how the examples have been written.

Looking at the code, try to change this:

    newItem = docSelection [i] .duplicate ();

    newItem.moveToBeginning (newGroup)

    to do this:

    docSelection [i] .moveToBeginning (newGroup)

  • Spinning object around while turning around another object?

How can these movements at the same time ? (THE ARROWS ARE JUST TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS THE MOVEMENT, THE ONLY OBJECTS ON THE SCREEN ARE THE STARS) The blue arrows represent the movement of all the stars around the center of the circle, and the Red arrows represent the movement of each star around its own Center?

    star.PNG

Make the star.  Make a layer; its default anchor point position the exact Center of the model.  Place the star too far from the null value as you like it and that parent to null.  Animate the rotation of the null value.  Animate the rotation of the star.  Fact.

  • How to wrap an existing text box around an object?

I installed the columns plugin for Photoshop CC 2014 and it does what I want it to do, however, every time I "columnise" my existing text box, which is wrapped up another image using paths to work (it comes to the video I looked to create the package), the plugin removes the work path connected as if it were a new fresh text box , I created, remove the packaging.

I was wondering if there was a way to wrap text around an image/object, preferably after I put it in columns existing .

    Thank you.

Ok. I installed the extension (I love the way that the extensions install using the Application Desktop Manager now) and it works well, but as you say, it does not account for the retention of the text shape/path and makes a new text box.  This text box is not based on a path, so you cannot modify it.  So low line here is Uber columns won't do what you want.  You could always email Anton ([email protected]) to get a definitive answer.

But it's frankly hard to manually change your shape.  Well actually it's a little bit tedious, but not rocket science.

    1. Make your shape.  An easy way to do it would be to make as a selection, and then click Make route selection work icon at the bottom of the Trace Panel.  Drag the resulting path on the icon new way to save it.
    2. Now drag two guides to mark the gap between columns.
    3. Zoom way to the top of your path where guides cross it.
    4. Select your pen tool and place the cursor on the intersection of the road and one of the guides.  You will see a little + when you do this, add a point.
    5. Do the same thing to the other guide intersect, then add a third point between them.
    6. Press the delete key.  You now have a gap in the path.
    7. Down to the bottom of the track work and repeat.
    8. With the selected pen tool hover over one of the end point, and then click.  (You should see a little icon of string that indicates you are at the right place.)  I don't see that for some reason, but it still works.
    9. Now, hover over the end point above or below.  When you see the tiny icon (), close the path.
    10. Repeat for the other side.

Not quite there yet.  You make the way to work in a form.

    • Go layer > new fill layer > solid color chose to any color. You disable this layer when finished.
    • Select the text tool and place the cursor within the form.  The pointer changes to a vertical bar with dotted circle. Click and paste the text.
    • You can store the text in Notepad or in a text box.  It does not matter.
    • It will not automatically be extended to the next column.  You will need to do it manually.

Ahh... Just remembered.  When you close the original form in two distinct forms, the corners will likely swell.  Hold the Ctrl key to select the point angle, then Alt to drag the handle down, the low point.

So there you have it.  Or just use InDesign, or even [spit] MS Publisher.

  • How to rotate a group of downtown objects?

    CS 5-

The default transform > do rotate an object or group of objects should go to the top left corner. How can I change the default to turn downtown? I personally never met a situation when I need something to turn the angle.

Also, is it possible to simply manually turn as is done in artificial intelligence?

Up to the top left of your screen, there is something that looks like this:

The black spot on your is probably in the top left corner, change in the middle and you're done.  You can also rotate manually, if you move the pointer to the Selection (black arrow) tool around a corner, a rotate arrow should appear, click and drag.

  • How can I remove the white fringes around dark objects - Elements 10

Landscape photos in differential high contrast areas I get a white fringe. How can I REMOVE this?

    R_Kelly wrote:

This can happen with a photo that has been sharper.

I also found that the effect of the new "shake removal" is inclined to create similar artifacts.

Sharpening works around the edges to change the brightness of the darker and lighter side on the edge. Closer to the edge, the lighter side becomes even lighter, darker becomes darker. The limit on the Board now has a lot more visual contrast.

One way to thwart the "oversharpening" is to use a reverse action (blur).

The effect that can produce a similar action on the edges in the opposite direction, is the "Gaussian" filter blur. The same idea is also used with the method "high pass sharpening layer.

The problem with the "fuzzy" is that it removes the sharpening anywhere, and not only where the white objects are a problem.

The first idea is to use masks to limit the effect around the areas at issue.

The other idea is to use a "fuzzy" selective running only on the clear part of the edge.

To try this, select a test with details of file image and sharpen strongly to the visible white fringes.

    -duplicate your background.

-Apply the filter ' other > high pass with a radius of 1 to 3 and choose a like a soft light blending mode. (even more sharpening)

-reverse this layer: blur effect as with Gaussian blur.

-Stamp visible (create a new layer with the resulting effect)

-remove or hide the high pass layer

-set the new layer to "compete."

The result is that you always keep the original on the dark side of the edges, while sharpening effect by masking the effect on the lighter side.

Of course, using masks to apply the effect on the areas with problems is also to be considered.
