A new release of the product key
Hello, I see that I'm not the only person this happens!
I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on February 3, 2015 from Walmart. com (I needed to upgrade this laptop from 32-bit to 64-bit.) Have disk, installed the operating system, product key been accepted, everything was peachy. Then a while ago, I had a nasty virus. I tried a few programs, but could not get rid of it. So yesterday, I decided to reformat/reload I have the drive...
You know the story, I don't know; everything loaded correctly. Until I'm at the point where I enter the product key. And Yes, I have triple and quadruple checked myself. Then during the telephone validation with Microsoft technology call told me that the product key, I have (which worked perfectly in February) was disabled and I should have bought the disc of Microsoft and Wal-Mart... not!
Any help will be highly appreciated as I have no money to buy new it.
Here is Diagnostics and I can tell you that the product key does not match that on the disk.

Can I install Windows XP on a new drive with the product key only?
The hard drive on my HP desktop computer failed and died. I don't have a recovery disk. Can I reinstall windows XP on a new drive as Windows XP product key is located on the cover of PC. If so, how? Any suggestion please!
With the procuct only key? No, you cannot, the product key is just a combination of 25 alphanumeric characters, where the installation files will come from? You will need to contact HP for a recovery disc.

New HDD installed - Windows constantly asking for the product key
HARD drive broke down, so I got a new HARD drive installed in the workshop for repairs a few months ago. Everything was fine until recently when Windows keeps always ask the product key to activate Windows. It is said that the license expires Dec. 27.
Do you know where to find this key?If your laptop has Windows 8 or higher, Microsoft codes the license on the hard drive rather than put a sticker on the base. Sounds like the repair people could have used a dubious copy to reinstall it on the new hard drive. Microsoft may allow you to report it as pirate software, but I'm not sure they'll give you a free copy. The other alternative is to contact ToshIba to buy a complete set of recovery disks, or take it back to the shop.

HP S4200NX was stopped abruptly after a PC waiting longer than normal to stop.
Next tried to boot the PC. Safe mode options is displayed. Selected options, nothing has worked.
Ran test, HARD DRIVE SMART 1 FAILED SHORT SELF TEST. Couldn't use recovery tools, disk set.
Installed a new HARD drive. Message received the error 'could not locate the MS user agreement acceptance. " The last error message is

Office did not come with a windows disc, but it has a label Microsoft of authenticity with the product key on the top of the PC.

I have Windows XP Home Edition Cd. But I lost the product key. My old computer is ded. How do I install it in a new computer.
If your XP is preinstalled on your old computer, it is an OEM installation and cannot be moved to the new.
If you bought a copy retail full XP, then your key should be in the case of CD holding the disc.
If you have lost you don't have a chance and will need to purchase a new license for Windows. MS sells more than XP, and in stores, stocks are running out. eBay (and other sites) lists the number of available items - which most is a counterfeit.
You should consider buying a newer OS, assuming that your hardware is compatible.

Hello
You can also borrow and use a DVD of Vista from Microsoft (retail disk and license OEM System Builders), which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

I have never installed my MS when I bought my PC and now it will not accept the product key, how can I get a new key
What "MS"?
Microsoft is a company, not a product.
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, pleasePlease also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

I have a laptop Acer 4720 with valid product key of Vista Home Premium OEMact and COA label, my problem is the HD is broken and I need to install the new HD and then reinstall windows, but I have not all disks (was on the recovery partition which is good), so what are my options? Can I use any family Vista Edition installation disc Premium and then activate my license key?
Hi again,
You use the product key on your computer case with the Installation DVD Microsoft process.
As I advised alreasdy, recovery from other manufacturers discs are of no use for this
The only thing is that you may need to make a phone Activation, do it this way and not use auto invite, but hold the line for a person to physically respond to your call.
I would advise not to download an ISO of Vista on the Internet, you will find that they are pirated and malicious programs containing versions changed.
The DVDs are not available from Microsoft.
When I informed 'borrow' that's what I meant. a friend, acquantance workplace, etc.
Or if you know someone with the same model of Acer and Vista operating system, you might try their recovery disks.
See you soon.
