A practical Suggestion about the battery of 10 blackBerry covers

I couldn't find anywhere to send a suggestion, so I decided to post here. I hope that this will fall on the ear right or at least passed accordingly.

To start things, I have my BS in mechanical engineering and I did some work with composite materials during my undergraduate. I'm a fan of the compartment of the armour of glass for the Q10 and the Z30. I think this is the new look of BlackBerry and I'm glad it was implemened.

I believe it can and should be more stepped away. At the moment, it's only used black devices. In my view, that fiberglass coverage should be extended to white devices as well. As you know, woven glass fiber is naturally white. Instead of using alternative manufacturing processes on different back covers, why not eliminate this process used for the high-end devices white entirely? All you'd have to do between black and white phones is Exchange the material used for the covers of the battery. This should save time without having a significant impact on the costs of the materials.

I have yet to see a pile of white fiberglass cover on any mobile device. Businesses tend to go for the look of the "cool" factor carbon fiber body. The average person does not know the difference between the materials, but I can assure you that this "white carbon fiber" will be very well received. I think it will give the white appliances look refreshes that society can be proud.

I hope that my suggestion is seriously considered. It would be great to see this cover of battery fiberlass implemented on white devices a day!

Happy holidays

James

We had a forum especially to product reviews but it seems that nobody BlackBerry visits it more.

If you want to take a chance and after your suggestion there, the only thing you would lose would be a few minutes of your life.

  • Satellite A210 - question about the battery life

I have a problem: my laptop works only 1 hour of unplugged to electricity, so my battery died after working of 55minutes (I mean I look at the pictures or typing in WORD). Is this normal? How long is the average battery life?
My model is SATELLITE A210/1AP (4000mAh) (my laptop is new; I bought it a week ago)
Please write how much your maximum battery work.

It is not easy to discuss this topic. With similar activity, I can use my Satellite A200, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I don't know how you're using your laptop, but I recommend you to use all the power settings that can make the life of the battery a little longer.

Check the method of cooling, power profile, reduce the brightness of the display and turn off WIFI if you do not use and so on.

You must also understand that Vista needs far more resources than Windows XP Home edition and the life of the battery under Vista is not identical with Windows XP Home edition.

  • Satellite M30: Questions about the battery, SD, energy-saving card reader

    1. After looking through the forums, it seems that my problem is not uncommon: my Toshiba Satellite M30 seems to have a life of the battery for about 10 minutes. Power not connected to the adapter, Windows detects 100%... 99%... Then 3%. Throughout the life of the battery is about 10 minutes, and I don't know why. Does anyone know? (Info from BG: laptop about 2 years, not too used)

    2. How will I know exactly WHAT model of Toshiba Satellite M30 I? (There is a code after the M30-part - I need this to find out what batteries I need to buy to replace)

    3. What is the nearest Service Center, I can talk to the United Kingdom with regard to my battery problem? From Toshiba Web site lists 20 companies different with Toshiba in them to the United Kingdom, and I have no idea which we touch!

    4. my SD card reader is a bit faulty. To put a SD card, no message appears to recognize the card - the laptop just doesn't recognize at all, and I do not see "SD card" or equivalent in "My Computer". However, if I put an SD card, and then restart the computer, I can see the SD card, it simply does not update while the computer is on, when I restart - cures for this?

    5. Finally, can I download the software of management of TOSHIBA POWER SAVER? I downloaded from this site but right now the only option when I open the TOSHIBA CONSOLE is 'Mouse' - there is no standby power options or network options or anything.

Thanks in advance, sorry there are so many questions and they are so different!

    Cheerio,
    John

    Hello

    1) looks like a dead battery. It s not unusual that the battery will discharge performance after about 2 years. As far as I remember, you can load and unload the battery for about 500 times. After this period, the lifetime battery decreases faster. The same symptom occurs for example with a cell phone battery. I think you should ask the new battery Toshiba service partner. PS: The guarantee covers the battery for about a year.

    (2) it's very easy at the bottom of the unit, you will find a label with the serial number and the name of detailed specifications.

    (3) visit this site:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/Su/su_gaspLocator.jsp?PF=true
You will find the database with ASP together all over the world. These guys are responsible for replacements, repairs, etc.

    (4) number of SD card is very strange. On my Satellite SD card window opens if I insert the SD card. You can try to remove the SD card from the Device Manager reader and after that new reboot, the OS should has new charge card CD driver. Eventually, it helps.

    (5) I don't know what you mean exactly but on the Toshiba driver page, you will find the tool power Toshiba compatible and taken in charge. If you have downloaded from the area Sat M30 driver so I think you can use it only on this laptop.

    take easy B-)

  • Question about the battery life

I am facing problem with my battery. When my laptop is running on battery it does not any notification (beep), most of the time that the battery is low. And then suddenly I find that he falls asleep because of the critical battery level. It gives only a written close to system tray notification and this last only 5-7 seconds. I mean, sometimes, that I can look at it that I'm focused on other things.

Please help me in the search for this problem.

I agree with the previous user of the forum. It will be interesting to know what operating system are you using and then we can write how to activate the alarm. I have two laptop computers with Windows XP Home and Vista edition. In the two operating systems, it works well.

  • Question about the battery life of the Satellite L40-139

It's maybe a stupid question, but I have a portable Satellite L40-139 and the battery lasts less time, is this correct.
In the power management, I chose energy-saving. I used to be a mobile system and it could take 2-3 hours. The answers would be great.

The laptop uses Vista. Am I wrong?
Well, I don't wonder that you can run Notepad only for an hour approximately.
Vista needs for more resources as a BONE at the beginning. In addition, there are a few bugs in Vista, who have a bad influence on the performance of the battery!
You can perform a search in internet for Vista and the problem of battery on laptops and you will find a lot of information.
The same laptop with XP runs twice as long on battery as with Vista.

  • Question about the battery

Is it true that the life expectancy of the battery is greater if I recharge my battery every time of 0%, or I can plug my cable of power regardless of the State of the battery, without that diminishes the quality of my battery? What is today the State of the art?

The battery is Li-ion. No need to drain to 0%. Life, if not extended or reduced if you move to 0%. Just charge it whenever you want.

I left my iPhone off 5S for nearly a year to 0% of battery. This may cause problems to the battery?

  • question about the battery of the laptop when you do not use

    Hello

I see that if you take the battery laptop out when you are not using and you're wotking with adapter suply, it wil extend the life of the battery.

But what if I do not use this battery for several days and I put it away wil he unload his omnipotence?

    Thank you

    Johan

    Hi Johan,.

I don't think that it helps extend the life of the battery if remove you it from the laptop. It will also pay power when you are not using it.  For more information on the functioning of the battery, I would say that you see the battery user guide provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

Hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • R40 | a question about the battery

    Hi, I need advice.

    I have a Thinkpad R40.

I had no problem until I got the malware Mirar.

I took in a center of the computer room to have my data backed up and re-installation of the operating system.

When I came back, the battery showed a 67% charge - which descended rapidly evenwhile hung to the sector.

He remained at 0% since then.

Before that, it would cool up to 97-99% and I could get at least 30 minutes of work on batteries - which was key for me.

Now I can not even one second of work powered by batteries.

I asked at the store, and they have confirmed that this is the same battery.

    My questions are,

    1. a battery can disappear within three days?

2 - is a kind of a driver related issue that I can check?

Thanks in advance for your advice

    Thank you all,

I could not even "shock" he gives life to

  • BlackBerry smartphones is the battery of my Blackberry Bold 9900 death?

So I had this phone for about a year and a half. I'm under contract. Its been a couple of days and his agi upward.  I have fully charged aura and within 1 to 3 hours, the battery will reduce by 50%, even with minimal use. I already checked if I have programs that run in the background and nothing. I also deleted all the apps that I don't use, and that did not help either. So I decided to restart the phone thinking it was probably just a temporary problem.  Well, when we turn back, the battery has been completely drained (according to the icon on the phone), it's the Red of the battery with no bar.  So I went back and charged him and he immediately showed them was still left half battery (it literally went a half of the white battery red battery).

Whenever I plugged it in the wall, it works very well and doesn't show any problem. As soon as I use it freely is when problems occur. I had to take my charger everywhere with me for the last two days.  What is happening with my Blackberry?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

This is the reason to worry, just here.  A good smartphone battery will give you a year and a half to two years of reliable service depending on usage, of course.  What we can do is eliminate it is a software problem.  Once we have eliminated that, all that remains is for you to get a new battery, knowing that yours is on its last breath.

I would like you plug your phone to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone is connected, click device at the top of the software and then restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and load it on your phone.  Once that your phone has rebooted, see if the problem persists.  If so, go out and get a new battery (or, better yet, a new phone BB10).  If the problem corrects itself, then you are welcome.

Keep us updated on your progress.

  • Need suggestion about the optical drive for Satellite 5100 503

    Hello
    I have a little trouble with CD-RW/DVD for Toshiba Satellite 5100 503 drive. He writes about 1/5 CD - r and only if I write< 400mb="" of="" data.="" i="" tried="" cleaning="" the="" lens="" -="" no="" help.="" tried="" both="" win="" xp="" writing="" software="" and="" nero="" -="" no="">
Do you know if I can replace the drive for a DVD burner? And if yes - which model?

    Hi Piotr,

You can replace your new CD burner with vurtually any DVD burner that is the same physical size, but you should make sure that the new Recorder has a set-up similar to your current drive configuration.

In general, the reader will be configured as Master, Slave and Cable Select (Csel), by the manufacturer and must match the configuration of your current player. One of the tools of Nero will show you the current drive configuration.

Unfortunately, most retailers do not show configuration and with slim-line readers, there is no DIP switch that allows you to change it.

    Kind regards

  • Question about the battery warranty

    Hello

I own a satellite L300 and with everest, I discovered that my 10 month battery has a capacity of 12% loss.
It is still under the 1 year warranty.
I searched everywere and I couldn't find specific conditions for warranty Toshiba battery, so I want to know if it qualifies for replacement.

    Thank you.

In my opinion these questions, you should clarify with the nearest Toshiba service provider.
If you have some physical problems then service is the right place where you can ask for help advice and expert.

By the way: I don't think that tool Everest is relevant for the verification of the hardware features.

  • Your experience and suggestions about the size of the screen

I would like to know what you found that works well for you when developing for different screen sizes, resolutions and screen for various browsers especially on PC and Macintosh (not talking mobile devices).

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

    I usually go for 1000 x 600 or 1000 x 800.

If you set the width to 100% height, it must fill all the available room in the parent html element.
