• Page CSS-need help beyond editing options in the Page Properties dialog box

  I want to add a simple fill right and the right float to a Web site. The Page Properties dialog box allows a fill only to the left. I know the CSS code that I need to add (right margin) (float) and I could do in Dreamweaver... but is there a way to add my own little bit of code to a page? I know that you can add HTML to an object, but what about adding CSS to a page? It doesn't seem to be in the metadata tab in the <>empty space, or if this is the case, then extra bits that I don't know. Can anyone help?

  I admit, I am a little confused... Is there a good reason to use the appearance using the HTML options in the page properties dialog box.

  It seems like everything that a category is available in one of the CSS ones?

  What would be the purpose to make these choices in HTML vs CSS classes.

  I want of missing me something very obvious... I am?

  Don't you're not missing something.  I agree with you.  Everything moved to CSS, whether through files included in the head or line when it comes to e-mail.  Currently, the only difference is that version HTML written stuff online vs the part css who wrote to the head or attached CSS document.

  My second problem is that I don't know how to link the pages after clicking on 'Start test'. I searched in question per page and you would have a button that makes you go back or forward a page.   I don't see anything on your first problem, but for your 2nd, you can add a question to every frame of the main timeline by adding keyframes to each of.  After the encoding of your username, your buttons could then use:

• Problem with the Page Properties window

  Page properties window is too small oppening. I can't access right margin, bottom margin, page fonts unless I use tab, but I don't see what I'm typing in the box. If I drag the bottom right to enlarge the window, it only moves the menu category, appearance does not move. Please help me.

  When I create a new html document, and then click Modify > Page Properties is not the drop fonts.
  
  I don't know what preferences I changed and does not know how to get it back. I noticed that when I change now, background color and margins that they appear in the body instead of css tag also which is weird.

  I'm guessing that you do not have "Use CSS instead of HTML tags" selected in the General preferences.

  This is an excellent question and understand the difference is essential to develop pages that use the way you want.

  The Source of a page element attribute works in conjunction with the Type of the Source attribute. When you see a form displayed on the page element, she got its value using the method that is identified in Type of Source (and the associated Source attribute). Let's say your item on page 10, P10_PROJECT_STATUS text field, use the Type of Source SQL Query and the Source attribute is Select the status of the projects where project =: project. Assume that project is a component of demand that determines the projects and that it is set by the user somewhere earlier in the session. The first time that the user goes to page 10, item gets its value from the SQL query (because it has no value in session state yet). Suppose that the user decides to enter a new value in the editable field. But then on page 11, the user sees something that does not look right and wants to return to page 10 to check or change something if the user used by the <> button what branches back to page 10. The value obtained by the Source of the element, for example, the SQL query, or the value is modified, the user has typed in the last time the page was posted? At this point, you can have page 11 taking the user back to page 10 to start a new transaction. But maybe you want to display the page just the way it was shown originally with the value of P10_PROJECT_STATUS obtained by using the SQL query in the Source attribute of the element. It's easy, that the branch page simply must include a clear-cache directive either to page 10 in sound together, or for the P10_PROJECT_STATUS element more precisely. Anyway, when rendering page 10, the value of the element in the session state will be zero so the Source of the item query will be used to fill.

  Now consider the case where the Source setting still, by replacing the value that exists in the session state is the best choice. Page 20 is a Contacts page of current project which can be reached in a parent tab. If page 20 has a screen in the form of text (saved state) point P20_PROJECT_MANAGER with the attribute Type of Source SQL Query and Source Select project_manager projects where project =: project, it's pretty clear that the posted project manager name should come from the current value of the project ID. With the help of the current value in the session state for P20_PROJECT_MANAGER would show an incorrect value if project had changed from page 20 has received for the last visit. So still, by replacing the value that exists in the session state would be the best choice for the Source in this case.

• A Question on the Pages MPOOL Allocation

  I have a question about the allocation of pages in MPOOL.
  I noticed that for BDB2.7.7, if there are open an environment with DB_MPOOL_PRIVATE, a block of memory will be awarded for cache MPOOL (size is N * PAGESIZE). Pages requested by the access method are allocated from this memory block important, no bunch of other memory is allocated for the pages. Allocated pages from and free of MPOOL are implemented by __db_shalloc and __db_shalloc_free.
  However, for BDB4.6.18, if it is open a DB_PRIVATE environment, it seems that this page requested by the access method are allocated from the memory of heap on request. I don't know if my interpretation is right or wrong, but if allocating memory on demand will cause decreased performance?

  Hey Woody,

  Change to use ordinary malloc / free for the memory management in a private (in DB 4.3, 2005) environment was an improvement in the net return. One of the reasons are that allocateurs system are more sophisticated than the code shared Berkeley DB used to use for managing memory (our code has improved in this area in the meantime).

  However, concurrency is the main victory: we previously locked the mutex for the region in which we allocate or free memory. This blocked other operations in addition to the memory management. When you use malloc and free, this is obviously not required, and most systems have a multi-threads available allocators who perform better than simple simultaneous load, single-threaded allocator.

  Also, note that Berkeley DB tries to avoid the release of most of the objects allocated in the regions: there are pools of free objects for the most part, that greatly reduces the load on the allocator.

  Of course, there may be situations where our code of simple allocation would beat malloc/free of a particular system: If you have results of performance indicating a significant difference, please let us know.

• loads of mobile site with half a page of nothing above the page properties ok any ideas?

  I went crazy. Is it me or the site?

  Mobile site seems to have caught a virus or loads of something.it first time, every time with 500 to 700 pixels of space above zero.

  I spent almost 5 nights trying to figure out. change settings, change page sizes, change page and graphics master to see what is the cause. (this is mainly why its taken 5 nights, trying to get the site back to the original after all these changes).

  client is hospitalized

  I'm ready for a fix. Help!

  By looking at the file I found that you used a widget in the contact form placed inside the target of an album. Remove this widget solved the problem.

• Impossible to change the minimum height in the Page Properties

  I'm trying to get rid of all the unnecessary space at the bottom of my page, but I can't seem to make it smaller. I tried to select hidden elements, but it doesn't seem to be anything else.

  Try pressing ctrl + a/cmd + a then check for any content on the page.

  I have an A4 document size (CS4) I want to print on a Canon MP830. It's a magazine format, so there a lot of pages and I want to print without margins. Right now, I just try to print a page, portrait, to see if I can eliminate the white margins.

  I would like to be able to change the properties of the page for all pages in a single action. I can open each page in a short time because my site is not that big. But what happens if I had 50 pages?

  To change the settings for legacy of character on all pages you can make the necessary change in the attached master page, and then this parameter will also apply to other pages in the Appendix.

• Question of the Master Page Architecture

  New site needs a main page of the company, which then directs the customer to choose one of the two store restaurant locations which each will have its own pages with its options, somewhat different from the other chain store location.  What architecture will better serve this kind of situation?

  The name of your master pages are not relevant. Only, you see these names. You will need to set the page name in the page properties.

  I don't know what you mean by levels? On the plan view? If so, I would have probably a three-page senior level (hand, store 1 and 2 to store) and then direction from there. But it's really hard to say without knowing how many pages you have etc.
