A sales license

I think selling an old license, but I wonder how I should go to. See, the original license is old (6 PS) but I have upgraded to a new license (CS2) earlier. In my Adobe recordings, these two licenses appear as registered under my name. Now, if I sell the license, it must transfer the full PS 6 version first and then the CS2 or will the CS2 transfer automatically be valid since it is already registered as an upgrade to this particular version 6 license? Is there something special I need to do (additional forms, etc.)?

Thank you

M

Hey M,

To sell or transfer in your case, you should probably use Adobe transfer of license, with all versions (original + upgrade) go together.

  • I'm trying to activate windows 7 with a valid msdn retail sales license

I'm trying to activate windows 7 with a license valid retail MSDN, but it does not work. Microsoft support told me to ask here - anyone know?

MSDN provides Windows 7 license in retail, Volume, and the academic channel.

As long as the product key matches the edition, it should work.

Try activating the phone again and talk with another agent:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

On MSDN or TechNet product key

They are genuine Microsoft product keys, they are in fact retail licenses, but it is expected for a product specific Microsoft Software Developer Network (MSDN) and TechNet channel for professionals who pay a subscription. The main objective is for evaluation purposes. The big thing to their subject, unlike Microsoft, MSDN or TechNet keys evaluation software expires. Because the agreement by virtue of which the subscription is provided is a single license, none of the software should be distributed outside of it. Although its $50,000 worth of licenses, it is for one person only for use and no one else. Unfortunately, no matter the conditions of license, people still abuse of the program, two key product gift or sell on auction sites. Microsoft it issues licences in good faith that customer will not do it, but I guess human nature win on.

In your case, what has probably happened is, you bought a license MSDN key, which carries up to 10 activations unlike packed full of retail licenses which carry 1 activation. The person who sold it to you probably sold to 10 other people. Somewhere along the way, one of these people could have installed on a second system activated, because it went past 10 activation threshold, Microsoft has detected that he was abused and blocked the key for later use.

  • If I put a new motherboard and Cpu in my computer it will affect the license of vista 64

I thought to upgrade my computer with a new motherboard and processor will this affect my license of vista, I guess I'll have to reinstall after I change them.

    OEM is OEM

"If Vista is preinstalled on your computer, or you purchased an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

    you are the System Builder

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop.

This is why the OEM license you bought was cheaper than a retail sales license

and Microsoft normally class the motherboard as the heart of the machine.

you need to reinstall vista as the existing hard drive installed vista installed the old motherboard drivers

  • The company, plans of switching license

    Need help, please.

As a society that we changed the license of the company and by chance, our division: 6 accounts are changed the standard of design (which we use years) video production plan. We have been asking for a sale to the plan at the time we realized the mistake and add an of more (to make a total of 7), and if there is no loss of money due to the change of plan, we compensate those if adding an account won't cover.

However, despite the fact that none is written in the contract, the only repeat sale license cannot add, but not to change, which cost us more than double for 3 years and no cancellation allowed. In total, we pay more that a person simply purchased any plan. The seller said there is a discount of volume for the license of the company so that we are not 'lose', and if that is the case, so we asked what kind of discount we get which replace double payments and no answers.  They insist verbal or face-to-face communication only and as a service product or sell a license that we refuse as no required minutes, I'm quite hierarchical to talk with them in the months and our work was ineffective for not being able to use the right plan.

Can we do something to improve the situation and change the saleswoman please? I think they're just design wasting our time by not answering is not to lose the moment and the opportunity to spend.  Your kind help will be appreciated. Thank you 1 million.

  • CF 10 & 11 licenses on Virtual Machines

I tried to get a response from Adobe for the month, but have gotten the runaround.

Here's the question I asked. We have a lot of licenses that we need to upgrade before the end of support core. If we don't get answers, we may be forced to use another provider.

I needed to clarify a finer ColdFusion licenses for v9 and v10.

    Of the license of the v10 (http://wwwimages. ) Adobe.com/www. ( Adobe.com/content/dam/licenses-Terms/pdf/Adobe%20ColdFusion%C2%AE%2010.pdf ):

1.5 "CPU" is each separate central processing unit (virtual or physical) within the computer capable of manipulating independently and the operating system. Each processor can contain one or more processing cores. The total number of cores operating the software in the computer can not exceed the allowed quantity and will be higher for the exact number of cores operating the software in the case when the licensee configures the computer (using a reliable and verifiable means of hardware or software partitioning) such that the total number of CPU cores working in fact the software is less than the total number of cores on this computer , or, (ii) the sum of all the kernels in each Jepp on the computer. The total number of processors on a computer is then calculated by dividing the total number of cores, the operating software of 4, rounded to the whole number in case the quotient of the division by 4 is not an integer. For example, if the total number of cores, the operating system is 12, then the total number of processors equals 3. If the total number of cores, the operating system is 14, the total number of processors equals 4.

    A couple of things:

    1. I can't understand when scenario would never be of and (ii). It seems that (ii) would be still greater (so why even talk about 'i'). Could you explain that?
    2. I have a physical machine with a ton of CPU cores. Let's say that in total, the machine has 32 cores. However, on this machine (host) is running a VM guest that is limited to only 8 of the 32 hearts of the host. Since a company unique license covers 2 CPUs (or 8 cores, as defined in another section of the license) and the virtual machine uses only 8 of the 32 physical cores of the host, I think the spirit of the license would I just need only one license. Is this true?
    Thank you

My apologies for the inconvenience caused. I'll send your contact to the team of sales/Licensing. They would be in touch with you.

  • License with virtual machines management

    People:

We use virtual machines.  If we have a change in personnel or a VM corrupted, we create a new virtual machine to duplicate an existing hard drive, create a new VM, and assign the hard drive duplicate on the new computer.  Works perfectly.

The problem is that Acrobat thinks that we have installed on a new computer and requires therefore renewal, and it will not re-license automatically because he thinks that the license is already in use.

Is there a way around this problem?

Is it possible to convert our licenses from selling retail to a sort of volume license where there are but the code of a license that can be used X number of times?

    Thank you.

    MICAH

Purchase the right number of Volume licenses rather than retail sales license.

  • Disable & turn on Windows XP

    Hello

I lost a laptop on which I have installed Windows XP Professional, Office 2007 and Office 2010.
I branch a new laptop now
Can I deactivate the license on old laptop and activate the same on a new laptop?
If so, what is the process?
    Rgds / Santhosh.M

There is no process 'disable' or 'unsubscribe' as such.

Assuming a retail sales license (OEM licenses are not legitimately transferable), install it on the new computer.  If it's been more than 120 days you finally turned on this specific product key, her you can very likely to activate over the Internet without problem.  If it was less, you may need to do a five minute phone call.

  • If I do a fresh install of windows vista will be I need to reformat my hard drive

If I do a new install of WINDOWS VISTA I have to format to reformat my hard disks/drives?

Or do all what I have to do after doing a clean install, then back to factory settings?  Could I use my other computers of WIN7 installation disc to upgrde it?

    Hello

Your Windows 7 disc question topic:

What is an OEM of Windows 7 license, or a license to retail that you have bought yourself?

If preinstalled license of Windows 7 OEM or system integrator, it is related that it is installed on the original computer.

If it is a retail license, you can transfer it to another computer.

BUT a retail sales license can be installed on a single computer at any time.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

With the help of different methods to reinstall the hard drive for a clean reinstall Vista formats.

Here are the different methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And read this information on Windows 7, before you install it:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=20

Check if your specifications are compatible for Windows 7:

    "Windows 7 system requirements"

    Hey bassfishin

If vista is preinstalled on your broken computer this is an oem license and as such cannot be installed on any other machine

only a retail sales license can be transferred to another machine, but also it can be installed on a machine at any time

If it is a license to own retail vista install on the laptop and turn it back on

It's a vista oem license is not possible, you can do what you want to do

    Hey fzsq5s

you have also an activation problem because your hp vista oem license is bound to the original material that it came installed

read the information about the oem and sales license in detail below

If your computer is pre-installed with vista, it is classified as an oem license and it is related to the material that it is 1 installed on

as in the foregoing any case at level or the replacement of the motherboard will be done in collaboration with the manufacturer of the computer in your case hp

If he had a retail license you might have upgraded or replace your motherboard you

but you then have to reinstall vista as the old drivers of the motherboard would be still installed

  • Motherboard\cup

I intend to change my motherboard and processor, I had an accident with the former. My question is what I see an operating system or can I reload my existing op

It depends on who is the manufacturer of your computer and what type of license you have.

Some manufacturers of bind their recovery disk to their mother.
When you try to reinstall it, you can't.

An OEM license is bound to the original computer.

A retail sales license can be transferred.

No problem, use the phone Activation option:

  • replaceable hard disk on almost identical machine or recreate the image?

I have an old Dell Latitude D830, which seems to have a dead motherboard.

Its backed up and photographed using Windows Image in Win 7 Ultimate.

Search on ebay for an identical machine so that I can just swap the HARD drive or recreating the image.

Those that I find is built within months of the mine, but have slightly improved processors.

Mine has a core 2 duo t7250 and some that seem to be good have the same thing with a t7500.

He screw it all or if it's similar enough for a HARD drive swap might work.

If this isn't the case, a HARD swap disc then a new image perhaps?

IF I bought a replacement motherboard would only be re-inage?

    Thanks for the help.

As long as the Windows 7 Ultimate FULL retail sales license, you can transfer; read this part of my answer.

If this is an upgrade license, you can transfer it to another computer, but you need an operating system that is installed to upgrade.

When you move a BONE on another machine, clean install is the recommendation
