• Audio is terrible on the page (but great in the preview)

  In a project, I have 3 sounds 1 second each (25-30 k mp3 clips) I'm initializing with attachSound and beginning with onRollover. Each MC mouse flies over should play a different sound. When I test the movie (ctrl + enter), everything works great, and even if I create a projector. But when I publish the .swf and play the movie on my own computer in IE or Firefox, the sounds play sometimes, sometimes play at halfway, sometimes don't play at all. Sometimes I have to roll the mouse completely the film then back on one of the MCs (rather than one MC to another) to get the sound to play. Anyone know what could be the problem?

  Problem solved... sort of: the audio did not work properly when I was testing on Toshiba laptops. As soon as I tested it on the machines of other manufacturers, the audio worked as it was supposed to. So now it becomes a question of another forum of support elsewhere.

• Horrible Jitttering on iOS devices

  I created a simple version of my site using the format of the iPhone to muse. A page that scrolls. There are only one or two effects of small movements on the page. When you view this on the iPhone or iPad stuttering and nervous is terrible. The page will be same popping up when you start getting close to the bottom. When you scroll, while sometimes it is good, it will actually "buzz" and jump. Really unusable. I went into a Verizon store and had a guy with a phone test site for Android. He was handsome scroll. I downloaded Chrome on my phone and the trac is still there. I did another Muse site which has more scrolling effects, but nothing extraordinary. It works fine on Mac. View the site on an iPad or iPhone gives you the same jitters. It was not built in Muse in the format of the iPad, it's just the original site size viewed in Safari on iPad. It's frustrating. The site is very similar to the computer, but totally collapses on the iOS device. What is going on?

  Laughing out loud. There is no Flash involved with anything whatsoever out of Muse (unless you place/import a .swf file).

  It would be useful to obtain a copy of your .muse file, so we can simplify the page down to what is needed to reproduce the jig, jump to the top and any other weird behavior, so we can write bugs into the system from Apple for Safari and study workarounds until Apple fixes the problems. We will also need to know the version of the iOS you use and what specific iOS device.

  I see on my iPhone with iOS 8.1.2 6 jumping to the top (sometimes), but the jitter is almost imperceptible. I expect that the Jig is perhaps more obvious on a slower device or an older version of iOS.

  It would be interesting to try to move the clip with effects of scrolling to its own layer above all. Create a new layer, layer '2', and he move there. Who will know the browser should not plan for other things moving above it and who can push Safari to optimize the drawing to avoid jitter.

  Hello, as my name suggests, I am really not in my area of expertise... I had a few rather poor performance on my E4200 about the range and connectivity, so I thought that it would be a good idea to see if a firmware update might help. The upgrade went out with ups hick (depending on the router), but the admin page is unnecessary after the upgrade:

• How can I disable the damned shortcuts to the web developer? E.g. reopen a page Ctrl + Shift + T now opens the console, do not have the basic FF command... Terrible.

  The shortcuts are the same - tools for web developers are now open for CTRL + SHIFT + T rather than reopen a closed tab, etc... It is very annoying.

  I can't delete web developer, but I never wanted to install it.

  I know this is an old post, but I found the solution to your problem.
  I had the same problem but with adblock plus (extension of masking element).

  It uses the same combination of keys ctrl, shift + k and when was rush to the web developer of this combination has opened...

  To DISABLE this shortcut, you must OPEN the console of the web developer and click on the gear which is located in the left side.
  Then, UNCHECK the box that says Console and press the X on the far right close the console.

  Disable your Add on and turn it on again and you'll be fine.
  (or restart Firefox)

  In my case it worked well and instead of "null" in the key of the element AdBlockPlus combination hide now, he says the corresponding key and no longer opens the "web developer console.

• How can I change the start page on the Sierra?

  I'm not talking on the desktop or screen saver. I want to talk about the page that appears when you turn on your iMac or when you wake up. This is the page where you enter your password. Sierra that's so terrible ugly. Is there a way I can change it?

  Select a picture - once you have your image to the right size and dimensions, save or export to your desktop as a PNG file and name it com.apple.desktop.admin.png.

  Then, from the desktop, use Cmd-SHIFT-G hotkey to access the go to folder window, type the following path in the box and click OK.

  A new Finder window appears showing the contents of the path, and you will see a file called "com.apple.desktop.admin.png" in the folder.   I asked this question before and yet I'm still terrible problems with my graphics flies over the text document when I add more text.  I'm not able to find the archives with the answers that people have written to me.

  I need to write a series of laboratory reports and using a terrible time amount to try to put the images in place. I do not receive a flow of text running.  Even in sections that I created, some of the images floated back up to the top of the section and are sitting there tight.  I am not able to move.

  Here is an example of a problem: I inserted a scatterplot and written my text.  I click on the tab "move with the text."  The Text wrap tab chooses spontaneously "Inline with the text.  My plot is moved to the left column - but I don't want that here.  I need to add a small annotation.  I'm not able to merge the plot toward the Center where the function of "In line with text" does not allow this.

  Basically, I try and change all the figures and plots to "Move with the text", but they tend to change to 'Stay on the Page' when I look away.

  Now, I wonder if I shouldn't open a new document in layout? This way I can add all my numbers for the section of the results in place holders.  But what I can combine "Text Layout" sections "Page Layout"?

  I really want to go back to Microsoft Word.  I would like to become proficient with Pages - and of course to learn my lab equipment!

  Each object, with the exception of a table when it is inserted in a document of v5.6.2 Pages, has its object set to Move with text placement and its set to automatic text wrapping. To keep your images of richocheting around your document out of your control, or push a the other, visit the reorganize with the selected image tab and change skin to zero. Now you can place pictures anywhere in your body text.

  Unlike Word, Pages v5.6.2 doesn't have a convenient annotation tool, and we need to position and an oblong text box that contains the annotation group - under the image.

• Pages is not displayed correctly

  It's terrible. I used Firefox and it predecessors since I started to use a computer in 1994. Now I am now forced to use IE because I can't solve my problem that began a couple of Firefox versions there. I tried the police thing hardware acceleration, by disabling add-ons, everything. Images, text and buttons are missing. Videos not working and just show a black screen dead. It's totally unusable. I have done several system restores and even tried Chrome that I hated. I want my Firefox in return. I use Windows 7 Ultimate and the problem is on BOTH my laptop and desktop. I had the virus and malware scans. Is it possible that Super anti-spyware or Malware Bytes could have been hurt or removed something windows which helps to FF at work? I've used these programs for many years and especially, they just seem to get rid of tracking cookies. Please help as I am at my wits end. I've attached a screenshot of my Yahoo page as well with Firefox and IE.

  On the system with the problem, could test you in a new profile? This would be disconnected from sync so it should not be affected by the problem parameters shared through this account.

  A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

  Note: this will be in addition to your regular settings and not replace them.

  Exit Firefox and commissioning in the Profile Manager by using the start box menu (or run). Type or paste the following and press ENTER to run it:

  firefox.exe -P
  

  Do not delete anything here!

  Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

  Click on the button to create a profile, assign a name like TEST and ignore the ability to move the profile folder. After you create the profile, select it and start Firefox in this profile.

  Display images no matter what difference?

  When you return to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the button to delete the profile. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

  Please, take a deep breath. Now:

  There is no way one click to cancel a refresh, but here is a procedure to return to your prior to refresh the data. It takes 5 minutes, but it's perhaps faster than the recovery of individual files and load those into your new profile.

  Check in the folder 'Old data Firefox' update adds a folder with a random semi name on your desktop. If there is only one, that probably has your old settings and Add-ons. If there is more than one, you'll want to work with one who has been updated recently.

  Once you have identified the profile folder, that you want to restore, here is my "old profile resurrection suggested procedure:

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
  • Menu help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  In the first table, click on the view file"" button. Firefox will launch your new profile folder in Windows Explorer.

  This folder open, switch back to Firefox and get out by using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

  Firefox is closed, the profile folder must be front and Center, or you can activate it by using the taskbar.

  Copy old data instead of new

  In this new profile folder you just popped open - NOT the one on your desktop - select all content (you can use Ctrl + a) and delete (you can press Delete on the keyboard).

  Leave this window open, open or switch to your folder of old data of Firefox. Consult your old profile folder. At this level, you should see a folder named bookmarkbackups among other things.

  Select all (Ctrl + a) and copy (or right-click > copy or Ctrl + c).

  Switch to the empty profile folder in another window and paste (or right-click > paste or Ctrl + v). This may take a few minutes because some files are large.

  Launch Firefox

  Firefox should start in this 'new' profile with the old resurrected profile data. Success?

• All of a sudden, I can't print an information page - the statistics of my site.

  I have a personal Web page hosted by IPage - lynnesgenealogy.com. I get monthly statistics of visitor on this page. For the last two months, I got a terribly large number of hits (over 20,000) on my site of Asia (more trace of China and the Japan IP addresses, but not all). During the outbreak of this issue with IPage I discovered I can print is more statistics page, as I have in the past. I deleted all cookies, cache, history, etc., etc. In Explorer, I can only print one page (the report is several pages long) at a time - but in Firefox I get a blank page. What's the story?

  Some time before, I started to see this "new tab page" with some of the Web sites I have visited.
  In previous versions, I was able to disable this terrible change browser.newtab.url to about: blank.
  But this no longer works. Instead, FF now has a button "gear" in the top right of the page to the new tab, which I can click to simulate a blank page.

  In case of accidents also please add a few recent crash ID that you can find on the subject: page hangs and which begin with a prefix 'bp '.

  You can check for problems with the files that store the preferences.

  Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

  I would go back to the previous version that was simpler and more intuitive.
  The system of bookmarks is terrible (like the expansion of programs in Windows 95 menu when you press the Start button) it is possible to pin the window in the sidebar, but when you click on 'history', it floats back to the top and must be likes.
  Also, I got nice big buttons with text. It seems not to be possible to have in this version. The back and forth toolbuttons are missing, and a bookmark button to create is stuck on the favorite button.
  It seems not to be possible to move the tabs under the menu.
