  First of all, very important, please make a backup of all files that begin with sessionstore in a safe place, such as your Documents folder.

  If sessionstore.js is completely absent, it's very strange. In this case, I suggest to leave Firefox and then rename sessionstore.js sessionstore.bak to see if Firefox can read this file when it starts again.

  For the last three versions 30.0 and 31.0 32.0 Firefox does not work after update on my laptop Windows 8.1. I tried Firefox reset State by default, uninstall and reinstall and reset my TCP/IP stack (which usually fixes the problem). I also went to Internet Options in IE 11 and unchecked the auto detect settings in the options of LAN connection and then checked again without success. I also have Chrome installed on my machine to check to see if it is in the browser or my internet connection.

  Internet Explorer 11 is the only browser that works so something seems to be wrong in Firefox.

  I discovered that my Norton Internet Security firewall blocking the new version of the program. Chrome has recently developed automatic updated also and I think too, it was blocked.

  Well, eventually nothing worked, except all the settings I wanted to put in part of mozilla.cfg. When I added your suggestion, and one I found on the web to disable add-on compatibility check, I finally have a Firefox that loads directly to the homepage, even after the upgrade.

  Here's what my mozilla.cfg file contains (to 6.0.2):

  I had this same problem. I have a PC HP, but the solution for yours should be similar. I downloaded the form from their Web site Intel wireless driver update, and it solved my problem.

  Here's what I did:

  1. Forehand app, open the 'search '.
