  Hello everyone,

  I have a problem with the cmdlet Remove-Snapshot: it fails to remove the snapshot when I made a copy of file (Copy-Item) between calls to New-Snapshot and Remove-Snapshot if (and only if) I put - confirm option to $false. If - confirm is $true everything works, but it does not allow me to run the non-interactive script. The error that is returned is "vim.fault.InvalidVmConfig".

  Anyone know if there is a problem on my side, on the side of ESX Server or a bug in the VI Toolkit? Any possible workaround?

  I have attached the PowerShell script, I used to reproduce the error and the script log file that contains the error message.

  The versions I used are:

  VMware.Vim.dll (1.5.0.1299, "VI API 1.5.0 build.Net 142961")

  VMware ESX Server 3i, 3.5.0 110271

  I'm not able to reproduce this on my environment but I am sure that the issue is not with the - confirm: $false parameter. After you copy the file there is a timeout that is set to 10 seconds. Can you increase it (even if I do not at all see a reason of this time-out) and see what happens?

• Laptop warns constantly bad hardware Insertion/withdrawal with the noise and the icon

  My laptop uses repeatedly insert/remove hardware alert when I did nothing. The Windows materiel.wav audio file is played and immediately followed by a materiel.wav Windows. In this case completely randomly and when making external hardware usb. Alerts are becoming increasingly common and is accompanied by appearing and disappearing immediately remove device icon.

  I disabled the sounds related to insertion and removal of hardware and sounds have disappeared, but the icon blinks always upward. This can only mean that the computer detects incorrectly insertion/deletion of material.

  Anyone know what this might be or how to fix?

  Thank you for your help. I worked on that it's actually a problem of material in this particular brand of laptop Dell. I did things you suggested and used Device Manager to uninstall the USB etc. root hubs, and in doing so I noticed a mistake in the MMC disk section. The icon and the alerts flashing to the top has momentarily said MMC device.

  I checked online and found that the MMC device or the memory on this particular laptop card reader is at the front under the touchpad, that the sensors for the memory card are inadvertently set off by the movement and pressure on the keyboard itself. The sensors have been in contact with the "Virgin" card that comes with the laptop to go out when not to use a memory card. So why the sensors seem to not notice and then immediately realize he is not a real map.

  Thanks for your help, and if you see someone having this problem again, I suggest to correct errors on the device of the MMC or removing the blank card. I removed and I have not had the problem since.

  Hello, I am after a tutorial on Lynda.com, which demonstrates the use of the spot removal tool to remove a task from a straight line.  Click on one of the ends of the line, hold the SHIFT key and click on the other end of the line.  Pouf!  Nothing happens.  The technique works very well for me in Photoshop.

  I have a PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Lightroom CC 2015.6.1, Camera Raw 9.6.

  You would be better off removing noise is going smaller, to use a different size of the FFT for each passage, with reduction under each.   How can I get the icon 'Remove hardware safely' to stop making its sound? It makes the bonk sound which indicates that you can remove your device. It slows down the PC games and is just annoying. I used the troubleshooter and checked all USB options that have been listed under my 'pilot' and the message I get says that they are enabled and work correctly. When he makes his tone, the icon in the taskbar disappears and reappears then. It does not seem to be no harm in or affecting any other thing except the PC games we play on our computer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  To turn off the sound for the connection / disconnection of devices, follow these steps:

  a. click Start and select Control Panel

  b. click on device sound and Audio

  c. under device sound and Audio, click its tab

  d. under program events, select the device connection and in the Strait, make scrolling the drop down for None.

  e. also repeat the same for disconnection device

  This should do the trick.

  In FCP, when I drag a clip or a ridge on the Timeline, I can press command key to enter a mode where it moves image by image. This is very useful when the timeline is dense and the default drag can move several images at once.

  Is there an equivalent in Premiere Pro? The only other way would be to zoom out the timeline first, do the drag and probably zoom forward/backward to return to work. It is too much trouble. And Yes, there are keyboard shortcuts that move a clip or a border image by image, but if I want to move a clip for exactly 2 seconds (60 images), it's a loooooot of keys AND I need to make the account. It is so much easier to slide.

  What you're looking for is equivalent overall command for behavior "gear"bottom"of the PCF. With some strikes, you might cut or move clips more slowly and accurately. That's what you really want, then make a feature request: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

• I need a way to send emails with the SAME unique 'from' and 'reply-to' address that my current method to use a generic account is at the origin of the problems.

  I have my own areas and when I email companies and organizations I always give them a single as e-mail address: [email protected]. This helps cut down on SPAM and identifies when organizations are hacked so I can 'kill' individual addresses with my domain registration.

  I currently do this by using a temporary NOSPAM Thunderbird "generic" account "from" address (which I need to change from time to time and 'kill' with my domain registration to prevent SPAM) and I change the 'reply-to' address when I send an email to such an organization. What tends to work OK most of the time, but often the 'reply-to' address is lost at the other end, perhaps when the emails are forwarded internally. This can leave some temporary old sent emails "from" addresses never happen to me.

  Much cleaner would be to send these emails with identical (and unique) 'from' and 'reply-to' fields. Someone has ideas how to achieve this goal, but obviously without creating an individual account each time? If Thunderbird helped change the address 'from', in special circumstances, it might be a solution.
