• Adding an application in the car dock app fails

  I tried to use my dock car for the first time today with my Atrix and I found that I was unable to add additional apps to the free buttons.

  When I long pressed a button, nothing would happen, and it would be followed shortly after a close dialogue of force for the parameters.

  Anyone know why I cannot the app and why the car dock app could originally be a force close in settings? Any ideas how to solve this problem?

  Try to go in the settings of your home screen. Then go to applications, then manage applications. Click on the tab at the top. Now go down to the dock of the car. Tap to open it, now tap clear data and clear the cache is capable and exit on the home screen. Restart the phone and now see if it works. Let us know if it helps.

• Disable automatic "Car Dock" App?

  I don't know what to call this 'feature', just guessing. The behavior is: I want to move mail to the Safari. I look for slides Dock Safari and Safari in place. This is sometimes referred to as "barn door transition." The effect I see on my 2011 MacBookAir, it's that I have to slam the slider at the bottom of the screen to activate the Dock. Several apps do not allow activation of Dock at all.

  Try to restart the Dock using the following command in Terminal:

  Killall Dock

  Log outgoing/incoming and test. If this does not work, you need to look in your user Library/Application Support/docking station for the .db. Use the Finder "Go to folder" command. Enter ~/Library/Applications Support/Dock.  Move the .db on your desktop.

  Then try a reset of the docking station.

  Applications/Utilities/Terminal enter the command

  Killall Dock

  Log out/in test. If it works fine, delete the .db from the desktop.

  If the dock is the same, back up the .db you, crushing the latest.

  If you prefer to make your library user visible permanently, go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Reprints of Leonie.

  Hi, my wife 4S iPhone died and I I replaced his Sim Card with my old s 4 card as I have updated.  She is still decide to upgrade, but needs a phone so replace the sim card seemed like a good thing to do.  So now his phone has all my contacts, applications etc on it and none of his own.  What is the next step to have his stuff on his phone?  Is this to connect to its MacBook or reset the phone and connect.

  Hi all

  I've been running my Atrix with webtop without no problem, however, I bought a car dock yesterday and have not been able to have the car dock to launch the app at all.

  At first I thought it was because the USB slot on my helmet pushed only 500mA as opposed to 1000mA and thus, perhaps, the phone was not recognizing the dock. So, I went to radio shack and bought a fast charger which grow a 1000mA to see if that would make a difference. No dice. I tried to turn my phone on and off as well as activating / disabling the various switches to power satellite, wireless and bluetooth, and that does not work either.

  I had a problem with the speaker of the phone then I exchanged it for another new Atrix address this problem of rattling. I had hope that maybe a new phone would also good launch of the car dock app. That no longer works. Needless to say, I still love the phone, but I'm tired of trying to have the car dock function correctly.

  I can do to get the car dock app runs automatically without having to download a third party home app?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I recently had the car Motorola docking station for my 2 x and I have a problem where the phone is continue to load after that I have deleted from the dock. More recently, the car Dock app will leave after the start. On this issue, I checked and it is not on the list of automatic end and remains lit when it connects to the car bluetooth system.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  The question disappeared completely after the update of GB. I see now the car dock notification when there was nothing before.

• Anomaly of the Atrix car Dock recognition

  I noticed a quirk in the behaviour of my Atrix intermittent when I put it in the Dock of the car. The scenarios and the results are as follows:

  1. If I place the Atrix in car dock before I start my car (which provides power to the USB plug), the phone does not recognize the dock and is therefore not in car mode. If I take the phone out of the dock and put it in after the car was launched (and the dock is powered), it goes into car mode.
  2. If I start the car until I put the Atrix in the dock, the phone goes into mode car without fail. After that, the phoe seems not to care whether the platform is powered and will recognize when it is removed or inserted in the dock (probably because the application is still running in the background and yet was killed by the Androids Task Manager).
  This isn't a criticism, just an observation. Has anyone else noticed a similar behavior?

  I have the latest official firmware (point 1.8.3), spin not the task managers, and is the only application that I host monitoring State is the application of profiles of setting (Probeez). I use it to automatically turn on the Bluetooth when I put the phone in the car dock. In any case, I do that the phone is unlocked until I put it in the dock so I don't end up having hit to swipe a fingerprint to use the phone when it is in the dock.

  This has been noticed and mentioned in several discussions in this forum. The engineering team has been notified and if everything goes well it is addressed. However, if it bothers you that much, you can use a generic USB (not the motorola one that came with the dock) and it will work . Don't ask why . Or you can disconnect and reconnect the usb in the charger. I find it easier then unplug and plug the phone all the time.

  The title says it all, but I'll explain it. I bought the car dock and most of the time it looks cool, but there is a weird problem. I have the phone in the dock, and I have the audio cable from the charger to the auxiliary audio port of my car. When I try to make a call, the default speaker phone. In a noisy car environment, it is difficult to hear the other person of property.   On my own SP4270 Win2000Pro install case that I came to the conclusion that the problem reside on the base 64 MB of memory on the motherboard, which had deserted somehow 1.1 MB, and so more big programs will not load and the installation procedure for Windows, as well as the entire machine will be completely stuck in about 5 to 10 seconds or at a very early stage in the process.

  But, I would like to have this made installation and in order somehow. Maybe the way is to disable the base memory and then just go with the sticks of memory on the upgrade of two memory locations.

  But, how to disable? Is the only way to throw the motherboard in the trash, or is there another way more decent to handle this, the BIOS v2.70 give any options at all for this...
