  Update: it was not after all water damage.  The day I splashed it I also sink it terribly low on battery.  Here's how I diagnosed and brought it back:

  1 held the power and volume for 16 seconds until what the phone into bootloader mode.  Choose the first option to continue the initialization of the phone.

  Does anyone know a provider for private blackberry battery? My phone got damaged (by a very small amount of water, not overwhelmed), water and is now show white battery icon with exclamation point and do not start.  I would try replacing the battery to see if it is the problem or if the load circuit. (Yes, I know that this isn't * technique * replaceable by the user, but I have the backcover and can do).  BlackBerry support said they don't sell them and wants to $275 + to fix the device, which is almost the cost of a new private on Ebay. Someone know a provider or have a spare battery that I can buy?

  Edition of the above to reflect the real problem.  The battery is just incredibly low.  Come to think of it, I'd run it for about 2 days and what I thought was caused water damage was just a super low battery. I "battery charge" it.  My discription full of how I did which is updated above in the first post.

  I also started to feel the Inbox of yellow exclamation triangle in the last week or so. I use MSN Premium on Vista. In the past when this has happened, as noted in other posts, it 'fixed' himself after the Cup and back in. Unlike these occurrences in which I could neither send nor receive messages when the triangle appeared, now, mail MSN performance do not appear to be affected even with the yellow triangle at the moment - it is quite annoying but!   This means that something is wrong.  Usually a corrupt driver.  I would like to re-insstall the newer driver avaailable

  Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver has been corrupted.  Re-install a new copy should help
