  The ventilation system on my functions very similar to the one on your Tecra SA30. Fans usually starts in a second or two of the system being initialized and will be off until I have started using the system.   Please don t understand me wrong but acitivy fan will be controlled automatically and is based on the CPU temperature. Still, the fan will start if the CPU is running on a high temperature to protect the equipment. So it of normal.
