A60 making a lot of noise

Hi I have an equium A60 and the fan seems to make a lot of noise, other notebooks I've seen seem to be very calm while mine has a strong constant drone to it. I found some places that it could be dust or dirt in the fan or heater. Can I ask that is the problem? and if so how would sort it?

Thank you, taf

Hello

On this way, no one can give you 100% precise answer, and we can only speculate. I'm don't know how old your unit but is perhaps time to clean.

On this path, vents are clean and the device can catch its breath. If you use the appliance for some complicated process and CPU should work under pressure, it is normal that the unit must be cooled a lot faster to avoid damaging the material.

Another thing: If you use the notebook as a desktop replacement you can put on something to make it a bit higher (maybe 2 or 3 cm). On this way the unit will be better cooled. Test it.

  • Fan making a lot of noise but no update BIOS

    Hello everyone.

For a few months now my HP Touchsmart 600-1140sc began to go crazy with the fan when I start it the night before (I think it's the sleep less :-) mode he's going in when I click on the button in the upper right of the computer!) and sometimes when I shut it down completely and starts as well. This is usually resolved by turning off the computer (NOT restart), wait a few seconds, then starts again. It is quite annoying to have to do all the time, as now the fan usually does 75% of the time.

I tried all the steps of the Danish guide for what might solve this (power settings, clean the fan, update of the graphics driver) except to update my BIOS. The reason I didn't is because there is no available BIOS update on HP site support! My OS is Windows 7 64 bit
What should I do? I don't want to have to replace my entire computer since I have to downgrade to a computer much worse than it is already (for purposes of games that it's bad at least ;-))

    Kind regards

  • Re: My laptop makes a lot of noise

Hi, my name is Akram, I come from the United States of America.

I got this Toshiba laptop last year, I have all the details it s bought in the UK and sold in Saudi Arabia.
Recently, since a month since my laptop makes a lot of noise can be the fan or the transformer.
    I'm a medical student, I t really know.

The noise is so boring that I put t carry the laptop to the library or College. Everyone in my class knows once I have started using my laptop if I take it, irritated by all the comments made by my friends. I took the laptop for repair, somehow, I browsed your site and received your Toshiba repair depot.

As I was in warranty until last week, I went to computer services of DATA VISION, 39th street, New York City, but to add to my problem the people he said he just cleaned up and said what he of done. But the problem is the same.

I had to go again, then he said that all laptops Toshiba make these noises. Isn't annoying to know this?
If it true s all Toshiba laptops make these noises, I beg you literally.

Please, make not of the more portable, it s really annoying to know and just Fellows try to convince me.
Nothing is managed best by Toshiba. I'm if unfortunate and disturbing why buy it.

There is no management what so ever.
Thanks I hope someone will never correct the problem, you can contact me on my mail id '[email protected] or [email protected] '.

    Hi mate

Welcome to our community of small notebook

Firstly if you are talking about a Toshiba laptop then you should post some details about your laptop. Who needs to know which model you have?

Second, I don't know what sound you hear you noise which is create by module cooling fans?

Just a comment in this regard:
    > As I was in warranty until last week, I went to computer services of DATA VISION, 39th street, new york city, but to add to my problem people there said he just cleaned and said its done. But the problem is the same. I had to go again, then he said that all laptops Toshiba make these noises.

I put t know if it s your first computer laptop or not, but if you're talking about the noise created by the cooling fan, then you must know that you would hear on all laptops cooling fans!
If the heat dissipation is higher, then the cooling modules must run faster and so the noise could be stronger. But you can also reduce noise if you define the CPU and modules cooling to a lower return. This may be down to the energy economy of Toshiba.

I have had three different notebooks from Toshiba in the past. Now I have Satellite U400 and I'm happy. Of course, I can hear the fans running but that's nothing unusual.

  • Tecra S3 produces a lot of noise!

    Hello

I used a couple of Toshiba in recent years, but felt that the new Tecra S3 produces a lot to a lot of noise. This noise is generated by the fan. Even when running in the mode of dynamic switching, fan is on continuously, even after running idle for some time. The CPU temperature is 47.
Is this normal for a laptop produced this noise a lot?

FYI: The machine has already because the graphics card was vice, heat generation that makes more noise.

    Eddy Kleinjan

    Hello

I put t think that it s a failure or malfunction of the equipment.
It s a simple fact that the cooling module must run due to overheating problems.
If the temperature rises to the fans works faster and louder
However, you can try to change some settings in the power management. Please check this possibility

    Good bye

  • Satellite C750-A103 made a lot of noise - problem with the cooling system

My toshiba machine made a lot of noise... like a plane. And it gives me the message "a problem with your cooling system has been the detection.

Turn off immediately and come back for the service "."
What should I do? It has been recently formatted, also?

+ The message was edited: mode number + added

You did not provide details on your laptop model and system that is installed on the laptop.

Even his I don't know how old is the laptop, but according to this short message, it looks like there is a problem with the cooling system.

Probably notebooks cooling fan doesn t work properly and the unit cannot be cooled as it should this can lead to cell damage through an internal temperature longer.

  • HP G62 charger making a high-pitched noise, but heater does not

My laptop charger noise is loud and high-pitched, change of volume at irregular intervals.  This amounts to the issue being reported in a previous post a couple of years [HP G62 charger making a high pitched noise] except that my charger does not heat.  Pressing the case of charger makes a louder noise.

The number of portable computer product is XZ183UA #ABA.  It's a laptop HP G62-457DX.

Should I replace the charger? I am concerned, it could be a fire hazard, or otherwise may fail in a bad way.

If it is a possible risk, I feel that I should say HP somehow official, so they can keep track of it.  The laptop is long out of warranty.  Is there a number to call?

Hello HortonSmithMHK, welcome to the Forums of HP.

It seems the loader performs a sharp noisy, that worry you. I would also, from what you have described.

I do not recommend replace, because there could be potential dangers. Also here is the information for support: Technical Support HP, 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • My A77 causes a lot of noise in the RAW (ARW) files.

Even under low iso(100-200-400) and matching glasses, noise appears everywhere.  It is true that I open my files in Lightroom 5.3 and not in the Sony software. I love Lightroom and would prefer, but I heard a roumor that Sony do not cooperate enough good with Adobe)-: I have not found a profile for the RAW files of the A77. Open files, but they suffer from points (noise)

It seems to me that 24 MP and AM don't go together... Sorry

I heard that the other is complaining about this. Everyone knows about it? All solutions?

The brilliant 77 is my important device. (I have also the A700, which is good, but old and made a lot of noise at 400 iso).  I really don't know what to do now. I don't want to make noise reduction in Lighroom at all my files. This isn't a good solution.

Examples of images that you can share? and under what type of condition, you see noise?

  • Tecra A7 T2500 x 1400 ATI card fan making lots of noise

Why makes the fan noise so x 1400 ati card if the power cord is being used? Without - on battery - the fan breaks down and it seems to be like my old one - tecra a4 p760. Need a special tool to turn off the x 1400? PowerSaver is not enough.

    Hello

The fact is that the preinstalled intelligence tool controls the CPU and the use of module cooling. In the energy saver, you can change and set the parameters for the various modes.
I guess if your use of the energy-saving power adapter switch to full power. The properties of the mode full power are different as modes of the battery. All orders are set to max.
I recommend to check these controls and if necessary you need to change the cooling method and the cpu on the lower level, the processing speed.

  • The MID-7604 puts a lot of noise, where can I get cables isolated for it?

I use a motor driver stepper MID-7604. I want to reduce the ground loop noise in the system that I'm able on my PXI-5152 (through a series of sensors, etc.) using an optical isolator or transformer for cable VHDCI 68 pin that connects the engine to the computer. Such a thing exist, or are there other methods to mitigate the noise? I'd rather have the computer connected to the same circuit and the MID-7604 / I don't really want to buy a gigantic isolation transformer/surge protector to plug into the MID-7604.

    bravedonxiote,

PXI to the ground connection should be fine, so everything is referenced to the Earth.

And Yes, grounding of the table is a good idea as well.

  • I get a lot of 'noise' on my graph labview even when no sensors are connected. Any suggestions as to what this might be?

I'm trying to set up a test bed to measure the linear moving of a hydraulic cylinder and it trace over time to a graph in labview.  I was getting erroneous readings on the grapn (a point of tension for every ten samples).  I have disconnected the wiring of the Terminal Board of my data acquisition card and the chart fills with 'noise '.  If I remove the plate Terminal and move the wire that goes to the data acquisition card, the graph becomes fixed.

Any suggestions as to what can be causing this?  All of the components are new, but would it be a bad block, the driver or data acquisition card?

    Thank you

  • lots, remove noise of several audio files

    Hello

I need to remove the noise even more audio files

    I use cc hearing under w8.1 64-bit

I know that I create a favorite, to create an 'action '.

can favorite a record noise print o file load in a file?

Adobe Audition help. Automation of common tasks

    Thank you

When you save the favorite it will use and store the parameters of the noise print used at the time. It can not load the new imprint from a file. So if all your audio files that you want to batch have the same noise footprint then you are OK.

  • LR seems to be to inject a LOT of noise (examples)

Maybe someone can shed some light on this mystery for me

I use PLR in my workflow - I just prefer how he treats the RAW files - so I put in with the interface

I take an export in photo - process in DPP - like TIFF - import into LR - and then go crazy with all available editions (I have same Nik complete collection - LOVE)

However, I noticed a HUGE amount of noise in the image after import into LR

and I have a few examples...

orig photo (I shoot RAW + JPG - here's the JPG - this is looking northward to PETCO park in san diego near the convention center Downtown--observing it under/through the sail bridge across harbor Dr. after sunset)

'Why' lightroom seems to be inject noise reDONKulous amounts in a nearly pristine image?

I * really * like lightroom - I like the interface and I love the nik plugins - but I can't have this much noise on every shot I take! I won't be able to use LR for "serious" photography if that's what I've learned to deal with

'How' to configure LR to import my photos without noise?

    THX in advance

    > 'How' to configure LR to import my photos without noise?

It seems that you apply a preset to the import or have a camera by default appied. There is a setting of clarity + 4 there that shouldn't be there. My guess is that there is also some sharpening applied. You must import the tiffs generated in another program entirely neutral, and they will be the same. In addition, I join Keith comment to convert raw in Lightroom itself. When you get the hang of it, you will get much better quality than the DPP.
