I have an old Portege 3110, does not start.

Checked connection and power etc etc. Power light is green with hand connected, then press the button it goes off, nothing happens then it flashes orange with hexadecimal code 4A

Does anyone know what 4A hex code is please?

    Thank you

Hmmm I n t think that someone here in the forum will be able to provide an answer to what means Hex A4.
The fact is that these error meanings depend on the laptop, motherboard and BIOS installed.
I mean the Hex A4 error code doesn t mean the same defect on all Toshiba laptops.

In addition, maintenance manuals are not for public use and only the authorized service partner could not locate the problem of equipment linked to this hexadecimal code.

So in my opinion, you should contact the ASP in your country for details and help.

  • Tecra S1: Empty screen and beep error Code appears

    Hello

I have a toshiba tecra s1 and it no longer works, and I don't know why.

When I start the laptop there is nothing wrong, but after 3 minutes or if the screen is not responding. Then I tried to reboot, it gives a black screen and beeps. The beeps are:
short, short, long, break, short, short, short.

And what he repeates himself. When I wait several days it will start again and then after 3 minutes it will "crash" again.

What is the problem with my laptop? Why it works, and after 3 minutes no longer works?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards!

    Hello

The laptop starts fine in the Windows operating system?

Strange beep error code usually appears because there is a hardware problem on the S1 and the POST (power on self-test) cannot be passed correctly.
If the computer falls down the POST, the computer then returns a beep code indicating what is causing the computer not not to pass on the MESSAGE.

The problem is that all the different systems of BIOS support meanings of different code.
As far as I know, Toshiba Tecra S1 uses Toshiba BIOS and only the ASP can read this code and know what it means. I recommend to contact the ASP in your country for assistance!

  • Backup of Windows 7 - the system cannot find the specified path, error Code 0 x 80070003

I have serious problems back up my own machine to a share on our FILE SERVER as \\FILE-SERVER\Backup\

I have already backed up another PC using exactly the same settings I used on my PC successfully.  So I guess it's nothing to do with the FILE SERVER or the backup settings.  There must be something to do with what I'm trying to backup of my machine.

First, some background.  This exercise was started when Windows Server 2008 r2 o/s fell one of our servers.  I tried to reinstall the operating system several times, without success.  In the end, I caught another drive and rebuilt the o/s on the server.  Then I got in trouble by promoting to a domain on the network controller.  In the end, I've renamed server FILE Server for FILE SERVERS.

We share regularly four records on what is now the FILE SERVER:

\\FILE-SERVER\Backup - a folder where the backups of all other devices are written, so that they will be saved with the server

\\FILE-SERVER\Company - contains all of the data of our company

\\FILE-SERVER\GEM - this is for our own database application

\\FILE-SERVER\Install - contains all the installation files for the software we use

These are all inmates on a RAID 1 array that is separate from the system drive that covered.

On my laptop, I had made these "Available offline" shared folders, while I still had everything that is available to me when I was away from the office.  They were of course shared under \\FILESERVER\... not \\FILE-SERVER\... Before the server down, I had backup works fine on my machine.

After having got the server up and going again, I started going there from the WIndows 7 Client PC backups again.  I started with a desktop computer, which of course have not all offline files.  This turned out to be relatively simple.

Then, I started with my machine.  Initially I did not 'Available offline' folders shared meanings.  I created my backup using exactly the same settings that had worked OK on the desktop.  But when I ran the backup I got:

The system cannot find the specified path, error Code 0 x 80070003

I tried all sorts of things to make it work:

    • with or without an image of the system.
    • reducing the backup in a single folder.
    • do it again 'available offline files

Nothing makes no difference.  In the end, I looked in the Sync Center to look at the offline files folder.  Under mapped network drives I discovered that I still had the files and folders in \\FILESERVER.  In their Menu Popup 'Always available offline' is grayed out.  So I deleted the Copies offline.  This delete the files in the folders but not files.

Since I could find no way to delete the old mapped network drives.  I decided that I had painted myself into a corner.  So I bit the bullet and re-installed my laptop too.  This will get rid of the unwanted old mapped network drives - BUT NOT the ERROR!

HELP - I'm running out of ideas!

I have a WORD Document that all the settings that I used on the server and Clients, as well as the reasoning behind these settings, documents, but I can't find a way to download.

    Hi Brian,.

These problems occur because the folders or libraries that you are trying to back up or restore include a reparse point.
Analytical points are similar to shortcuts Windows or Unix symbolic links. A point of analysis can be used to point to a file that is moved temporarily to a different drive. For example, a reparse point would a folder such as C:\DVD to point to drive E, the real DVD player.

Perform the steps from the link below and see if the backup works.

    Windows backup or restore 0 x 80070001, 0 x 81000037 or 0 x 80070003 errors

If you work with Windows Server 2008 and the mapped drives, I would recommend that you post the question in the TechNet forums.

  • Error code: U44M1P7 update of Lightroom

Hello, I just bought 6 Lightroom from Adobe (not CC) site, that it is an upgrade from all earlier versions, I've owned Lightroom 1. for Lightroom 4. Surprisingly, when purchasing this version, only available download is version 6.0. They are many bugs in this release, the more boring for me, because I use it a lot for my job, we the many shortcomings of the impromptu slideshow (which worked fine in Lightroom 4.)  So I tried to upgrade to the latest version of 6 (March 2016) available, and the installation failed every time with Error Code: U44M1P7

Doing some research, I tried option 1, which is rename AAM updater and who does not.  What am I supposed to do?

Why is the latest version of Lightroom not available when you pay for it? Why did you download a version buggy?

It is finally updated: I had to uninstall Lightroom 6, then reinstall it. Then reinstall the update.  A good thing, I had the original installation file on my Machine of time upward...

Please help Adobe..., you are now joining Verizon as my favorite too big to fail corporation.

  • How to get help with the error Code: U44M1U5?

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 on it. I installed a new copy of Photoshop elements 13. I noticed that some features do not work when you click them. For example, when you try to create a new catalog, I clicked file > manage catalogs, but nothing happens. Similarly, the organizer has imported audio clips. I can't delete them. When I click on the option to remove the selected options of the Organizer, nothing happens. I got a popup telling me that updates are available. I tried to install them, but the installation fails every time. I get an U44M1U5 error code. How to solve this?

PTL, I was able to get the problem solved. It turned out to be a fix of the 2 part. #1 problem: The buttons and functions that were not working in 13 items. I downloaded the latest updates for Windows 10 and that fixed that problem. I am now able to create catalogs, remove items from catalogues etc.  Problem #2: U44M1U5 error Code. I tried to download updates all 3 components suggested at the same time (AAM, first 13 elements and Photoshop Elements 13/Adobe Camera Raw 9). A forum suggested do one at a time. In addition, you can download the update of MAO while the MAO is running. You must click on CTRL-ALT-DEL, and then click Task Manager. From there, click on Adobe Application Manager and click on end process. Once I did, I was able to update the AAM with no problems. I then ran the update to Photoshop Elements. He got about 13% full and told me that I had to stop organizing Adobe. I did and you click on continue. Have downloaded the update without problem. I was also able to run the update to Adobe Camera Raw Editor 9 without problem. When I downloaded the update for Premiere Elements, it is 13% full before telling me to stop Organizer as well. So I closed the organizer and click on continue. All the updates installed without problem.
