acceleration of displacement

Hello

I have an acceleration signal

I can integrate twice using Labview VI as indicated in the attached file in order to find the signals of speed and movement.

But how to calculate the INITIALS CONDITIONS of speed and displacement?

And how to include these initial conditions in VI

Thanks in advance

  • Write the spectrum of power + other tables to PDM

    Hello world!

    I am building a project of data acquisition, using compactDAQ to measure and record data from an accelerometer.

    The main objective is to save the data of acceleration, speed, displacement and frequency in a PDM spectrum, but I'm having some trouble it.

    As you can see in the attached file I had coveted, data of the wizard Express in a waveform to unbundle + build using waveform, after that I wired this waveform of a generation a table with data ACC, of speed and movement.

    The problem arises with the viewer TDMS data reading because the plot of the frequency band is not the x-axis with the right values, instead display the data of frequency it indicates the date and time that does not correspond with the PC, but the fact is that I need the frequency values.

    Is it possible to change and enter the correct values in the TMDS file?

    Thanks in advance,

    Omar

    The TDMS Viewer included with LabVIEW is not going to meet the needs of each.  And this is a case where it is inadequate.  Your data is stored correctly (at least the image looks right.  Also next time code postal no pictures.  Attach a VI or a code snippet.

    When you read your data PDM Regularisez using a DDHN reading him indicate you the type of data to expect, and there you can provide an analog waveform.  Then when you read back you will have the same dT and T0 he wrote with.  The problem with the Viewer is probably does not know it is a waveform and is simply read data from amplitude and then confuse around the X axis.

    You can write your own code to read the file, make a copy of the existing Viewer, then change it. Or my favorite is try Scout by Signal.X.  They took the standard TDMS Viewer and gave it an overhaul.  You might get lucky and open the data normally here.

  • How do you derive speed and acceleration data position?

    Hello

    We are working on a project that requires data of distance, speed and acceleration over time.  We use the NI 9234 compactDAQ chassis connected to an accelerometer.  The accelerometer is attached to a topic plastic cantilevered (rectangular) which is "gathered" - a bit like a ruler on the edge of a table hanging like a diving board.  We will gain about 2 k samples/sec.  There is no problem getting the acceleration data, it is transformed in speed and distance, which is the problem.  There is a link OR a solution (http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4308, see below), but it does not work.  I remember in my class of calculation that you integrate acceleration to get the speed, you integrate the speed to get remotely.

    This gives us the following graphs:

    Acceleration seems good, of course.  But the speed looks like it is a sinusoidal signal riding on a curve that dips down and then decreases exponentially.  (This dip and decomposition looks like the answer to an excessive vibration.)  I expected to be similar to the acceleration, speed, but out of phase 90 degrees (symmetrical relative to the origin).

    And we want the position and not remotely.  Position would also be a sine wave exponentially decaying.

    So, what math should apply?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

    Conversion acceleration in the speed/movement or movement speed requires the digital integration. In LabVIEW, you can take the accelerometer measures and represent this signal in acceleration, speed or movement by running the example VI (Figure 1) included in the next tutorial for area Developer:

  • conversion of acceleration of movement

    Hi guys,.

    I am primarily an experience that is to use 2 x Triaxial accelerometers to calculate the displacement of the center of rotation circular tool (whereby an accelerometer is attatched on each side) and I use labview 2009 to collect & analyze data.  I know that there are limits to this because of the noise, but that's fine, I'll just compare it to some lasers...

    However, in my view, there is a problem in the procedure/math my vi that causes a shift completely wrong.  I have attatched a screenshot of the front panel in action so that his race and my vi.  It would be great if someone could point out what goes wrong.

    The vi is basically display the trip from lasers and accelerometers simultaneously.  for moving the accels, I'm subtracting the acceleration of an axis to the corresponding axis on the contrary accel and halfing it to get acceleration due to traffic (approximately) from the center of the tool, and not due to the rotation.  I've then double integrate him to give travel, find the amplitude between the 2 axes, I'm interested and he draw on a lot of polar with theta is observed angle regardless of an encoder.  I don't know if it is a correct approach, any help will be welcome!

    Concerning

    Luke

    OK, this will take a few steps.

    I have first to change your structure a bit to implement a loop of consumer to the producer.  You pass not valid values in the loop of the consumer.  Your queue your analog vi samples until you click on stop and you removed only the first game.  Then your second loop has started and had only the first data to work with.  There was no relationship between the queue data and the data from the meter.  Is not yet there and we will come back later.

    See the examples in LV on usuing queues and we respond to the work of vi.  Your basic approach seems reasonable.  Just a matter of learning enough LabVIEW to perform your desires.

  • Firefox used to work fine until last week, now hangs at startup - have reinstalled, tried to uncheck hardware acceleration - not fixed.

    Until the week last Firefox coasted reasonably little pop-up (windows 10), now it crashes immediately. I reinstalled, ticked hardware acceleration (it starts in safe mode), but is not fixed. Any ideas?

    Thank you, looking at these reports, it seems that this may be caused by external software on the computer. go to control panel of your system and remove any software marked 'Freecorder"or similar, or by the Publisher"Applian Technologies"or any other toolbars.

  • Problem with fonts. If enable hardware acceleration "BOLD" fonts look weird, but if I turn it off, "BOLD" fonts seem good, but normal fonts look weird

    Title.

    With hardware acceleration: http://imgur.com/jHRk6Yl words 'empty' look and really weird air instead of being "BOLD". But if I disable it, normal fonts look "weird" in some Web sites (not all) and are difficult to read.
    Any solution?

    Thank you!

    Hmm, another user Windows 10 reported this after installing some Helvetica fonts.

    In your screenshot, the text 'blue indicated' is the following style rule:

    font-family: "helvetica neue",arial,helvetica,sans-serif;

    So I guess you have Helvetica Neue installed locally, which seems to have strange problems in Firefox.

    If you don't want to remove this font on your system, you can use custom style rules for Firefox overrides Arial, which is what I see on Windows 7 on this page. I saw the first time that documented in this article (from 2010!):

  • Need to disable acceleration hardware and smooth scrolling for users on a Remote Desktop Session.

    Hello
    I need to disable acceleration hardware and smooth scrolling for any user that connects to an RDS Server. I messed up the mozilla.cfg and created an autoconfig.js file. I guess I'm missing something along the way.

    This is currently my autoconfig.js
    Pref ("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    Pref ("general.config.obscure_value", 1);
    Pref ("app.update.channel", "liberation");

    Mozilla.cfg
    Smooth Scrolling disabled
    lockpref ("general.smoothScroll.disabled", true);
    disables hardware acceleration
    lockPref ("layers.acceleration.disabled", true);
    lockPref ("gfx.direct2d.disabled", true);

    All that I'm missing? When I restart the two options are always checked in the options.

    Thank you!!

    Hi b1gt3x, you use a clear cfg file, you'll want to put this in your instead of autoconfig.js:

    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0);
    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");

    In addition, you will have to make lockPref with a capital P in any case - that it reacts very sensitive to spelling errors...

  • Hardware acceleration of flash player does not work on windows 10

    I installed windows 10 yesterday, everything works fine except the hardware acceleration in flash. I don't see that a green video if I activate hardware acceleration. Work videos flash if I disable hardware acceleration, but I don't think it's a good solution because the CPU usage goes way up. I have an AMD ATI Radeon HD 4890 and I use the drivers supplied with windows 10 because amd has not released any Windows 10 drivers for my card. Strange thing is that hardware acceleration works fine in chrome, so I think this isn't a driver problem, is there some way I can fix this in firefox?

    I solved the problem by installing the drivers amd since the INF, now working on hardware acceleration!

    Edit: It seems that the Green video problem is solved with this solution because the CPU usage is always the same with hardware acceleration disabled

  • Turn off hardware acceleration to resolve failures and defects of graphics.

    A few weeks ago Thunderbird updated itself, and the life of my email went to hell. The continuous black screen. Often he was missing all the icons on e-mail records. I had often to minimize and reopen Thunderbird to see anything. I kill then restarting it maybe 8 times a day when he hooked completely. He crashed himself and sent error reports, perhaps 20 times a day. Absolutely horrible.

    Finally, I found this article, which explains how to disable hardware acceleration:

    http://www.askvg.com/how-to-disable-hardware-acceleration-GPU-rendering-in-Mozilla-Firefox-4-0-to-fix-font-problem/

    It worked. Apparently in one of the recent updates, enabled Thunderbird when hardware acceleration for my system, he had to be turned off. (I vaguely remember turning it off before.)

    In addition, there are a simple switch off in the Options.

    "Tools" > "Options" > "Advanced" > "Général" tab
    or
    'Icon menu' > 'Options' > 'Options' > "Advanced" > "Général" tab

    To turn off:
    Uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available.
    Click on 'OK '.

  • Hardware acceleration can be improved in the non support Windows XP?

    I was able to diagnose my problems with the new windows that open instead of tabs and expectant keyboard following the indications of support: start in safe mode, removing the hardware acceleration, reboot normally and... .no problem! I would like to know if it is possible to update the graphics drivers in Windows XP - pro before going through the whole process (I'm not a tech savvy type). My internet loading is already slow as it is, rural DSL speeds, but I rather just be patient rather than to tackle the constant keyboard problems that have been driving me crazy. Please let know us if it is worth trying to upgrade or not.

    Personal opinion, away from NVIDIA / GeForce video cards. AMD / ATI based cards seem to work better with Firefox that the GeForce cards based on the research I did in April for a new PC, I was building at that time here.

    No problems with hardware acceleration or Firefox on Win7 32 bit with focus on the AMD Radeon video card from ASUS that I installed (~55.00 USD). But with Windows XP, you may never be able to use hardware acceleration, 'new' video cards do not support an EOL as WinXP operating system, and those that do may not provide enough in the long term, as Mozilla continues to twist HA in Firefox.

    It now seems to work OK. IE no crashes.

  • Disabling hardware acceleration also live up to anti-aliasing of fonts

    As in the title.

    First screenshot shows what happens with hardware acceleration enabled, which seems better, second screenshot shows how it looks an alias with disabled acceleration with the race missing in some places on the very light fonts.

    However, when hardware acceleration is enabled, if I open very large images or batch of images on line at the same time, the browser window will flash white, all tabs will lose their favicons and you must restart the browser. For this reason, I try to keep disabled hardware acceleration, but use (or method) for the rendering of the fonts only, if such a thing is possible. Also, I want a fix for hardware acceleration, causing such behaviour, although it seems more difficult.

    ClearType and font smoothing are both on the channel. Disabling one of them makes the fonts still worse.

    Thanks in advance.

    In fact, I've corrected the problem. Gfx.direct2d.force layout compatible true was what it took.
