  To type pinyin normally you use the ABC Extended keyboard layout (formerly US extended).  A list of the shortcuts is to

  You shouldn't have any problem getting it above the letter, if you use the v option, then the vowel in ABC Extended.  ǍĚǑǓ

  When I pick a color for the foreground color, I have a popup saying something like "Cannot process your request due to a bug" (I have the Dutch version, so it is translated). When I click 'OK', popup goes you and I can use the color that I took. When I pick a color for the background color, there is no problem. When I switch the front - and the background color, I get the popup again.

  I use Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro also, I have no problem with these programs.

  The color fades color you're looking for is last in Lightroom 4.  It was abolished in LR 5 and beyond.  Adobe needs to update their help page to delete this paragraph.

  The 'best' color settings are profile and end points specified by your lithographer. You can see that the work will be produced in CMYK mode, it can specify a RGB. (One of the reasons why it might ask for an RGB file and perform the conversion itself is so that it can prevent its competitors its CMYK settings that apply to the GCR, generation of black [ramp] and limit of total ink regarding specific paper.) Its recommendation may also vary depending on your choice of paper and the surface of the paper. If the choice of the particular lithographer cannot be done at this time, it is generally acceptable to provide the Adobe RGB file with the default settings of Photoshop.

  Values of PMS in InDesign are not actually stored as LAB, CMYK values. If the creation of PDF from InDesign and forcing in the process and all tasks the process CMYK, then you get the CMYK values depend on the color space designated for PDF output.   I think you are probably using the wrong application of the to do. Its certainly possible to colorize entirely B & W with Photoshop but it's designed more for individual images. What you need is animation mask when dealing with hundreds of frames and Photoshop doesn't have that. I see that you have After Effects and sound which you should use and must be also much less than attractive time of thousands of individual masks in Photoshop.
