  Thank you all for the purposes of blowingly great spirit! It was a great experience, learn, create, and build a character that really our needs.

  The character I created will soon be interacting with live actors on stage. His performance was recorded character animator and then composed in AE and first in shorts. These shorts are then placed on PowerPoint slides. Dialogue of the character film is on a slide and Powerpoint is then set with automatic advance to the next slide that contains a movie in a loop waiting for character (blinking, fidgeting, etc...). PowerPoint holds on the slide in waiting until the advance button is pushed into the control booth. When the button is pressed the next sequence of dialogue starts and follows another loop of film/slides. This repeat about 10 X.

  My question is this: is there a better way to mark repeatedly films with character and direct dialogue?

  Hmmm - if it's video, you're through, then maybe your solution is fine if it seems to work for you - a formula step by step as powerpoint or keynote might just work.

  I would say when Preview 4 comes out, look on siphon support which will send CH scenes in the form of video frames that you can layer over other videos. For example, I use Studio OBS to stuff flow contraction or YouTube, and I might have a character CH appear over a video stream live, a screenshot, or everything I wanted. There will be a thorough tutorial on this at its launch!

  I have a db Oracle 9.2. There is a CUSTOMER table with a column called name. The database character set is WE8ISO8859P1. There are 35 million records in the CUSTOMER table, a small minority which have been seized, including accented characters, for example in the field of FAMILY name like o.
  
  I need to determine exactly how many lines contain accented characters and report on them. The majority of the lines do not have accented characters. I need a query that SELECTS only lines whose field NAME contains accented characters. In English, the request to declare these lines would be something like:
  
  SELECT THE LAST NAME OF THE CUSTOMER WHOSE NAME CONTAINS AT LEAST AN ACCENTED CHARACTER;
  
  or expressed differently in

  It seems that you can use the binary case-insensitive or accent sorting to get the results you want so:

• Problem with accented characters

  Using the UTF-8 encoding in my Flex application (<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >).
  Using UTF - 8 ranking in the MySQL db and fields.
  
  When I manually insert a line in MySQL (through phpMyAdmin) with accented characters (ie: e, e, e,...), everything works fine.
  When I use my Flex application to insert a line (through php (amfphp) script), accented characters are modified when it is kept in the database.

  I just stumbled on this pair of days. This has to do with amfphp framework, so go to the gateway.php file and positioned like this: $gateway-> setCharsetHandler ("none", "UTF - 8","UTF - 8"); It worked for me with the same configuration you have.

  Unfortunately, the problem can be fixed with some kind of firmware. I spoke with Toshiba and this is known issue and they also said that Toshiba do some tests with the new keyboards and when this will be resolved customers can expect a help about it.

  If I understand right, there is a problem with the contacts of the button. As you know that it is the new keyboard with numeric keypad and not the standard. • Highlight the files, done Windows double job with them to the same folder. Huh?

  So often, when I copy files, I note several if I do not quickly, Windows (XP 64-bit) is suddenly double job with them in the same folder.  Usually when I'm using the control button and clicking several with my mouse.  Is this a bug?  Not sure who in their right mind would want this feature.  How can I get rid of this constant irritation?

• Windows Explorer does not display the file or files with fix = folder

  A few days ago I noticed that I have some files seemed not be included in the records, I have worked with. After some fiddling, I find that I can see all the files in a folder if 'fix' (at the top right of the display of the files) is set to "name". Usually the value by default in "folder" but whose value fix folder the subfolders and their content is invisible.

  With fix the name value, I moved some files to another folder and they turned upward correctly. But when I then moved this folder in the folder where I had taken the files and set fix it to the folder again the folder and its files have disappeared.

  I had recently downloaded both Dropbox and Google so I removed the and pulled out another who was supposed to repair/update drivers that I had a problem with many (e.g. printer) drivers disappear just before Christmas. Does not see how this can be related unless there is also a malware somewhere on my computer. I have Norton 360 update and run Windows Defender when he invites me.

To control triggers CH I believe that enforcement must be active, so I couldn't choose another app/game on PC and press keys to trigger (if I CH running and switch to Photoshop, for example, keyboard triggers will not currently work). But I have not personally tried something like this yet - there must be some sort of solution (2 computers?). I know that we're working on more ways to feed and export your character alive in future versions, so ideally this workflow can be easier on the road.

  I tried to use % E9 instead in the text document, but that doesn't always come through either it is white.

  Since I have updated to OS X EL Capitan, if I hold down a button the pop-up with accented characters will not appear. By pressing the button for one second I can't type anything for like a minute. How can this problem be fixed?

  Try to go to the sources of the system/preferences/keyboard and add Spanish or French to the list, if they do not exist, then restart.

  In my application, I received a .json file encoded in ANSI format, that contains characters such as aeiou. The interface has a ListView that loads the json data.

  In Beta 2, the texts were displayed correctly, but in Beta 3, the special characters are displayed as a box with an X on the device and Simulator.

  If I encode the file in UTF-8, nothing I've shown on the ListView, and it appears in the log:

  Looks to his saying that your json file is misformatted, not if your accented characters are a problem.

• Characters Czechs corrupt in the Table of contents

  Hello world.

  I'm working on a project large enough help in Czech. This isn't something that I started from scratch, I took during a colleague who recently left our company, so I don't know much about how it was done.

  The project is made of 3 elements, resulting in 3 CHMS which are then copied into the same folder with other CHM using some sort of algorithm.

  Once all of these files (CHMS 4 in total) are copied to the folder Help software, they are shown as a component only when you click the button in the software - which means that you see a table of contents complete with chapters of each 3 files).

  The problem is when I compile the individual CHMS, I get the message " " "characterparameters HTML help a not supported for the selected language. Do you want to continue? »

  If I continue, the file is compiled and when I open it, the table of contents seems ok. However, when I copy with the other files and open in the software (a program of type CAD) some characters are replaced with something else:

  
  

  I use Robo help 10 and the police in the files is Verdana. I read on another thread than the police could be the problem, but I don't know how to change in all files (except perhaps to Internet Options in the chm directly?)

  My regional settings are also defined in Czech when I compile the file, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, whenever I compile, I get this message and corrupt characters are displayed using the software.

  Can anyone help with this?

  I use RH 9.

  From my experience, namely character such problems can sometimes more an art than a science. This is what it looks like anyway.

  A few issues involved can be:

  1. Language for non-unicode programs office must match the output of the Control Panel, in the dialog box language and region , on the administration tab, make sure that the language of non-unicode programs is set to the target language.
  2. Language settings in RoboHelp - under file | Project settings, ensure that you have set the language in HR in Czech for all projects. In addition, in the pod of single Source Layouts, right-click on the output and choose Properties in the drop-down list, and language , make sure that it is set in Czech.
  3. Encoding of characters in the file itself - open the file (in this case .hhc) within a text editor like Notepad ++ and in menu coding , check its character encoding. By experience, it must be on encode them in UTF-8 encode in UTF-8 without BOM.
  4. Character encoding in the tag XML - also in Notepad ++, check the coding in the first tag line 1. My hhc file that we translated into Czech, it is set to
