Access BrowserLab behind a proxy

Hello

When I go to use BrowserLab Dreamweaver CS5, I get this message:

Your network preferences prevent us to communicate with the server.

My work has a proxy with authentication required for access to the net. I can't find the internet access settings to provide the BrowserLab authentication settings or any other element of CS Live access to the net.

Anyone has a solution (other than turning off the proxy server which can not do)?

Thank you

Your proxy should allow for the following IP addresses unauthenticated access.

192.150.3.27

212.113.146.31

I hope that find you your building before October.  Let me know if you need more information.

  • Redirect WebLogic behind reverse proxy (https becomes http)

    Hello
I have a problem with the redirects of weblogic switching protocol https, http when a user is redirected.
    Here's my setup.

    1. first of all, to everything there is a loadbalancer that ends the SSL. (BigIP)
    2. in front of the weblogic application server is a reverse proxy to Apache. (www.external.com)
3 and behind the proxy of the weblogic server hosts the site.

Requests for outside is managed by the proxy in the following way when the user tries to access https://www.external.com/site1
    ProxyPass /site1 http://inside.com/site1
    ProxyPassReverse /site1 http://inside.com/site1

On the weblogic Server I've specified the host och port frontend Frontend to be external.com and 443.

My problem is that when a redirect occur, the user is redirected to http:// www.external.com/site1, not HTTPS.

Can I set up it works somehow?

    Kind regards

    Henrik

    Hi Henrik,

You can set it up for you the server managed. Navigate to the managed server, then protocols and HTTP.

Find Frontend host and Port HTTPS Frontend.

But Weblogic need to know if she should use the HTTPS front-end Port or the Port HTTP Frontend. So in Apache, you have to set this:

    RequestHeader set WL-Proxy-SSL true

I got this working with Weblogic 10.3.3 but when we went to 10.3.4 it has stopped working. I opened as SR which ended with Oracle saying the Apache/mod_proxy has been certified and the I use mod_wl instead.

For example, you might have some problems. :-(

Just had a quick glance at MOS and Oracle now has fessed up and found a fix. Check: WebLogic Server (WLS) 10.3.4 - HTTPS request headers showing that queries on WebLogic HTTP side [1318648.1 ID]

I just tested a TI work if I set WebLogic plugin active as described in note :-)

  • LabVIEW can access a HTTPS site behind a proxy?

I tried to use LabVIEW to access an https through our firewall/proxy business site and were unable to operate. Anyone has any experience with this and or should this be possible?

With success, I was able to get the LV websites (http and https) access without going through a firewall and through messages on these forums figured out how to access http site through the firewall, but have developed in white when you try all https sites. Here are a few test cases, I've tried. All these sites are easily accessible via browsers, so it is not because of the firewall/proxy iblocking.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    -Harold

Well, now I understand your configuration. Unfortunately the HTTP client supports only the tunneling proxies (sometimes called gateway proxies, those who accept a connection and then move the application to another server without modifying it) because they occur without intervention of the customer. It is not supported for HTTP proxy servers (sometimes called proxies forward) which, as you have noticed, ask the customer to send a CONNECTION request to the proxy via the SSL protocol.

To use the HTTP client here, you must configure your proxy to accept HTTPS connections on a different port using a valid SSL certificate and then forward these requests to the remote server as a proxy tunneling.

  • A Site to remote access VPN behind the same public IP address

Got a problem quite stupid.  We have a VPN from Site to Site configured for a new data center, which will be responsible for general traffic management.  In addition, some users need to use use a VPN client to access certain areas.  The firewall at the Office only has a public IP address, so the two will come to the Site to Site VPN for remote access from the same source.

    Hello

Don't know if this will work, but you can try the following configuration (with the rest of the VPN configuration)

list-access CLIENT VPN ip enable any 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

card crypto OUTSIDE_map 4 is the VPN CLIENT address

    card crypto OUTSIDE_map 4 set ikev1 transform-set ESP-AES-128-SHA ESP-3DES-SHA

The idea would be to have the ACL matches the VPN full Tunnel that the Client attempts to establish. (destination "any" from the point of view of the customer, the ASAs view source)

I tested briefly on my own SAA by connecting from an IP address to which the ASA offers free VPN in L2L. But as I don't have the operational L2L VPN, I can't really verify the VPN L2L at the moment. Thus, certain risks may be involved if you can afford it.

  • Creative cloud can not connect behind a proxy.

One of the more stupid things that Adobe has done is this stupid creative Cloud solution. We have several users who are unable to access the cloud creative because the "brain" (and I use that term in a broad sense) Adobe decided to change their application without any warning.

When you use Adobe Application Manager, the software would not connect to the Adobe servers when you use a proxy, but it was fine because that at least worked on authentication. Now, even this fails since the update of Adobe Application Manager creative Cloud Desktop App. After a lot of tests and countless tests to try to find a complete application that needs to be constantly updated every time it connects to the internet, I was able to establish that if a proxy pac file is used, then the application does not connect and fails because it cannot find the internet. When a proxy server and port is used, then it connects, but this isn't an appropriate solution.

Is there someone who was able to use the pac files proxy software enabled?

BTW, here are a few interesting responses from Adobe support which was without support or advanced experts:

"You have a connection to the internet?" - after the remote access to my computer... OF THE INTERNET

"You must start the computer in safe mode." "" ME: "why?" Support: "because this release resources to run the application.

"It seems that the Internet is not working" - after repeatedly clicking try again

"" "I'll contact level 2 support and we will be able to help you, because our main concern is that you can get a connection" me: "How long this will take?" Support: "a few hours" - 4 hours later and still no word from tech support and I've worked on the issue.

So for all those of Adobe, which really wants to help, I'm still waiting on my reminder.

All the others, I would like to know if someone has managed to get this working with proxy pac files.

For any one trying to get this stupid thing work, I could find a solution for our environment.

Adding to both a proxy for users pac file and then allowing server application Proxy settings. This allowed the Adobe Creative Cloud app to connect to internet and update. It also means that we didn't need to add sites in our list of filters, as they were already enabled for users.

Hope this helps others trying to get this to work

  • How to create an individual user to access the service of proxy in osb

    Hi all

I created a project of the osb. I don't need only one user access to the project with the user name and password. The project should lead to the error when using other credentials.

The hard part, it must return an error even when the username and password is empty. can someone help me solve this problem?

You can assign that user to a single group in the field of security WL, and then create a global role, which has a membership in a group of only this group. As long as this user who held role.

Then in the configuration of proxy of the OSB, simply add go the Security tab of the Proxy, then access control. If you click on the link for your proxy, get you a screen similar to that shown in WL to create roles.

Add conditions, select role, and then add the name of the role in the name of the Role Argument.

So to invoke the proxy, you must hold the role (which has only 1 member of the group, which has only 1 user). If only 1 user will have this role and can call the proxy server.

  • Why Firefox 18 behind a proxy server refuses all connections https?

I used to have Firefox 17 and everything worked ok but I just installed Firefox 18 in my environment of Windows XP sp3 and I can't connect to https through proxy of the company sites.
Company proxy requires LM/NTLM authentication, the proxy server is a machine IPCOP (squid proxy.)
After the update to Firefox 18, for all sites that uses an https connection, the answer is:
    The proxy server refuses connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is

I have the files sigtools.csk, sigtools.db and sigtools.set and I managed to import the signature in the eclipse. But the problem comes when you sign with the same. I get the error "General failure.  Please try again. Server is might be unavailable.

I understand that the problem is because of the power of Attorney that I used. How can I make sure that the signature tool uses the proxy?

I checked for many blogs that explains the similar process for BB JDE and also for Eclipse with new installation key... But in my case, I can import only the signatures that I have not the key files...

Please help add proxies to the signing process.

Got the solution soon after the validation on board!

The signature tool where I got the failure message, I have a button named 'Properties' that allows me to enter the proxy details...

After you add the details of the proxy, it is successful!

  • Flash cards behind a Proxy Server

    Hi guys to!

I noticed a few threads about the same problem in this Forum as well. but do not see the answer here.

I have a database of Oracle 11 g with APEX 3.2 using the pl/sql gateway embedded on my home server and use http Apache 2.2 as a proxy server for my applications. I'm running several applications apex, with a wide variety of areas. All works quite nice. A got the app running and everything happens very nice...

Except in my applications flash cards...

I've noticed that I needed to change the variable #HOST # in order to make them work in my environment, but is a "global" variable only? Or y at - it a (simple) way to make them work correctly without hasle by application?

for example: I want to APEX application executes 100 on apex1.com, apex app 200 on apex2.com.

    Any thoughts?

    Kind regards

    Douwe Pieter

    Douwe,

#HOST # seems to be set by the engine of the APEX, and in the current state, we have no control over what it gets the value.

The improvement would be nice to implement to perhaps even the level of the Application, so that in your situation, you could control HOST for each application.

    Thank you

  • RV - 120W:how to refuse the user to access certain Web site via proxy server?

I block some website at the URL Blocking. But can access the Web site that I've blocked via proxy server?

Can I deny access user proxy server?

There a lot of proxy server, I can't block the proxy one by one.

You can use nat, do it selectively. So will not be able to bypass the proxy for outbound or unable to navigate, also the use of the port is using nat, and if no nat, they cannot see anything behind the proxy. If this does not work, also, you can monitor your network with tools like wireshark and blocking the packets to the proxy manually

  • Message access control in the OSB proxy service when the Service Type is the Any SOAP Service

    Hello

We have a proxy OSB service where the Service Type is 'no matter what SOAP Service'. We use Auth.xml to authenticate messages to achieve this proxy service.

It is, ca we apply Message this proxy access control so that only user A is allowed to sent message has and only user B is allowed to message sent B?

Us know if the proxy OSB service is based on a wsdl, then we can apply access control message for each operation in the Security tab - and thus specify which user can access the operation. But unfortunately, we have not a wsdl, because this service proxy is a proxy gateway and must accept any SOAP message reaches.

For example, if the user name in the SOAP header is msgAUser, get is accepted.

    "< soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv ="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">"

    < soapenv:Header >

    Any suggestions please?

    Understood.

My current client, we have faced the same problem and implemented a similar design which nevertheless has important benefits.

The problem with proxy input all SOAP is not only in the complexities of authentication. Most important, resources fine grain (thread) management becomes impossible: proxy entry has a workmanager, one constraint of son max. If any single service behind entered proxy knows an influx of requests (because of a peak or a misconfigured customer), he eats the workmanager dry and the rest of the services become too inadmissible.

In this spirit, we have implemented the following diagram. It's a little more complicated, but it serves us well for a few years already:

    EntryProxy 1-> Interceptor entering Proxy-> Proxy 1

    EntryProxy 2-> Interceptor entering Proxy-> Proxy 2

    ...

Enter proxy doesn't do Nothing but shall forward the request for interception of incoming traffic. Power of Attorney of the entry, however, has its own WSDL, authentication and the workmanager which allows precise control.

Another important aspect of a proxy of the entry, it is that it passes a custom header containing the name of the destination of the interceptor, e.g. TargetURI = "ProxyService/Paypal/Paypal.

Incoming Interceptor Proxy performs all recording, the error handling and other common tasks.

Then, according to the last header, the proxy of the interceptor makes a dynamic call to route to the specified destination.

Yes, this design has an additional moving part - a proxy entry - but he a) works b) guard control all in our hands. The entry proxy is a very small point; When I need to make a new one, I just copy an existing one and replace the WSDL file and the value of the TargetURI - 30 seconds of work.

    Hope that helps.
