LabVIEW can access a HTTPS site behind a proxy?

I tried to use LabVIEW to access an https through our firewall/proxy business site and were unable to operate. Anyone has any experience with this and or should this be possible?

With success, I was able to get the LV websites (http and https) access without going through a firewall and through messages on these forums figured out how to access http site through the firewall, but have developed in white when you try all https sites. Here are a few test cases, I've tried. All these sites are easily accessible via browsers, so it is not because of the firewall/proxy iblocking.

Any help would be appreciated,

-Harold

Well, now I understand your configuration. Unfortunately the HTTP client supports only the tunneling proxies (sometimes called gateway proxies, those who accept a connection and then move the application to another server without modifying it) because they occur without intervention of the customer. It is not supported for HTTP proxy servers (sometimes called proxies forward) which, as you have noticed, ask the customer to send a CONNECTION request to the proxy via the SSL protocol.

To use the HTTP client here, you must configure your proxy to accept HTTPS connections on a different port using a valid SSL certificate and then forward these requests to the remote server as a proxy tunneling.

My guess is that you have a damaged or invalid certificate entry OS X KeyChain, but to directly answer this question, I would say that consider you something like HTTPS Everywhere. Note, it is not available for Safari. It is available directly through the Google Chrome browser extensions.

  • One of the computers on the local network Windows XP cannot access a http site.

I ping to the alpha-numeric address (on this computer) and ping uses a private IP address: 198.168.88.68 (all packages are lost).

All computers on the LAN access correctly.

When I ping at the same alphanumeric address on other computers

They ping 204.38.19.76 and I successfully received all return packages.

I connect using my Internet provider ADSL router. I know it does NAT and all my LAN computers get their IP addresses dynamically.

I thought it was a problem of Internet Explorer, but after I discovered the computer resolves the ip address for the external address as a private IP address. I force the PC to get another IP address and also I had used: ipconfig/release, ipconfig / renew. And even by configuring it with a static ip address does not work.

  • Can access the IIS sites only from localhost

I have a problem with IIS, when I publish a page on this subject, it is only available on the local host, for example:

FiddlerRoot not only does not allow https certificates, but also resets my proxy once I put it back. This is consistent, and I worked through all the expertise "of solutions." This is a ridiculous piece of code and severely limited my internet capabilities.

go to the system control panel and uninstall programs such as BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup or other software that seems suspicious and did not get intentionally installed by you.

  • Windows 8 says it is connected to the Internet, but none of the browsers can access a Web site.

Windows 8 worked well without problems.  So I think some updates were automatically installed and now none of the 3 browsers work.  Network utilities show always the computer is connected to the internet, but the speed tests it does not at all.  Our other computer with Windows 8 ceased to be able to access the internet at the same time.

I tried to restore to a previous restore point, but it is still not possible to access the internet.

    Thank you!

After making back all Microsoft updates and spend 4 hours on the line with the support of Microsoft, we have reduced to eSet having a service that forbade access to the internet, even if we have disabled the firewall.  Stopping this service restored internet access.

eSet has been marked as compatible on different Web sites, but check on eSet they revealed there are questions.

Initially things worked but eSet must have updated something that caused problems.

The sites in question are all the sites I've used frequently, they are reliable. When I read the page details on caution at least a site had a valid certificate based on the dates. The reasons given don't are not all "expired" there are several others. Here's another example:
www.bankofamerica.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not approved, because no sender string has been provided.

  • Unable to access SSL Web site when company proxy use man-in-the-middle attack to scan SSL traffic

Renamed the cert db and he had to recreate. IE working on it from that computer to the website. All computers in the office can access the web site without any problems, some using ESR some with regular FF. This system uses the latest version of FF ESR, but we also tried the regular version. The only thing we haven't tried is disable the AV (Symantic). One thing I noticed, is that the URL of this web site are extremely long.

Why the FF honors cert for some pages but not others. It also does us not add an exception.

The first thing I checked was the cert chain, all certificates are valid. Time on computers is very good, the second thing I checked.

As I said in a previous post, a few pages work, some do not which means that certificates are valid for certain pages, may not be a problem of cert, sometimes they work. Same site also works with IE and chrome on the same systems.

Cannot ignore and accept the cert in he won't let me. Which is off and I don't know how to turn it on.

In any case, I submitted a ticket for the owners of the website last week and now everything works.

Thanks for the answers that I don't have a resolution, I guess that developers found a bug and fixed it.

  • Cannot access some sites behind the pix515e

I started my CISCO PIX 515e in July 2004 with a minimum configuration. The only change I made was to introduce the syslog and 3COM tftp server. Two weeks after my Internet (browsers) users (inside) began to have problems of access to certain sites for example google.com, cnn.com etc when I bypass the firewall, they can access all the sites. When I place them behind the firewall again they cannot access the same places. It seems to me that the firewall is the cause. This could be the cause?

Without seeing your config, it is hard to say, but a proposal, I'd say you're probably out of translation addresses. The PIX must create a translation for the traffic as it comes out, and she does that based on nat/global orders, you have in there. Let's say you have the following:

    Global 1 200.1.1.1 - 200.1.1.254 (outside)

    NAT (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

Then, this indicates the PIX to translate any internal address to 200.1.1.x he died. If all of these 254 global addresses be used however the next person who tries to go out will be denied. If you look at your syslog server, you will see a message like "Unable to create translation."

If you change it above to:

    Global 1 200.1.1.1 - 200.1.1.253 (outside)

    Global 1 200.1.1.254 (outside)

    NAT (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

then the first 253 users that come out will have their packages would NAT, then all of the other packages will be PAT had to the 200.1.1.254 address, giving you an extra 65, 000 - odd outbound connections.

If that's not enough (remember that only the user going to a few web sites can open connections to 20-30), then you can change the above to the following:

    Global 1 200.1.1.1 - 200.1.1.252 (outside)

    Global 1 200.1.1.253 (outside)

    Global 1 200.1.1.254 (outside)

    NAT (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

giving you a 65, 000 - odd additional translations and so on.

Other than that, we would need to see your Setup and your messages to syslog (in the debug level) when these users can't get out.

  • RV - 120W:how to refuse the user to access certain Web site via proxy server?

I block some website at the URL Blocking. But can access the Web site that I've blocked via proxy server?

Can I deny access user proxy server?

There a lot of proxy server, I can't block the proxy one by one.

You can use nat, do it selectively. So will not be able to bypass the proxy for outbound or unable to navigate, also the use of the port is using nat, and if no nat, they cannot see anything behind the proxy. If this does not work, also, you can monitor your network with tools like wireshark and blocking the packets to the proxy manually
