Access changed 'read-only '.

Sometimes when I edit scripts in certain events at buttons and radio buttons (I noticed with the calculate event, but it may occur with other) the button becomes read-only.  It took me a long time to find a way to go to the Source of XFA tab and remove access = "readOnly" thing in the source code for the object.  1. everyone knows that?  2. has anyone figured out how to stop LiveCycle to do this?  It's probably trying to be helpful, but it's just a pain.

Hello

You can use the layout: ready event of the button for your script instead of the calculate event.

Try to move the Yes_No_Base.rawValue = '2 '; before the xfa.form.recalculate line (1);

When previewing the form in Acrobat, press Ctrl + J to open the javascript console, which will show the errors, if they exist.

The calculate event explained to me that each change of the form of shooting. When we had a subject that pushed a value to another discipline, we moved the script of the calculate for events event as exit the event. If an object is dependent on the other fields to get its value, then it is logical to keep the calculate event.

Check out Adobe "LiveCycle Designer ES scripting Basics", to the good events expaination.

Good luck

    A little history: I wanted to make a custom menu, so I opened a copy of one of the menu canned. • Checkbox option to change read only values

    Basically, I'm trying to implement javascript or formcalc to exercise the following functions...

    When you check the highcost_Yes field value is changed gracieux1 to 10, with no control in the field of the highcost_Yes , the chargement1 value must be 8.

    I have the default value for the field chargement1 the value 8, so if me can cause problems.

    check the highcost_Yes box (values 1 or 0)

    It's the snippit of javascript I've tried:

    If (highcost_Yes.rawValue == 1)

    {

    gracieux1 is 10

    } else {}

    gracieux1 is 8

    }

    After some research, I tried this code in formcalc:

    if(highcost_Yes.RawValue == 1) then
    (gracieux1 is 10)

    ElseIf (chargement1 == 8)
    endif

    I learned javascript this term at school so I understand the concept I'm far from practice effectively.

    Can someone tell me where I was wrong?  Thank you!

    Sorry - no double == when you set the value:

    If (highcost_Yes.rawValue == 1)

    {

    managed1. RawValue = 10;

    }

    on the other

    {

    managed1. RawValue = 8;

    }

  • File attributes can be changed from read-only on a global scale?

    I just finished using Easy Transfer from XP on a Win7 machine on another PC and find that almost ALL of my documents, spreadsheets and Access databases has been changed read-only.  I changed a couple of them to full access through the Properties menu, etc. and many prefer to be able to do on a global scale as I speak of hundreds of files that have been changed by this transfer.

    Is there a way to do this on all my files on my hard drive?

    Ronnie,

    It just seemed to me that all I really need to do is to find a way to change MY profile for equal to that of the admin. I did it just for a few files and these files are no longer read-only... !  I hesitate to change my system to an ADMIN login for security reasons.   I also changed the attributes of the lowest subfolder, then the above it and then I can open all of the files in these folders in r/w mode...

    So, is it possible to automate change the attributes of all files folder and subfolders?

    Fred615

    Hi Fred

    Yes, you must be connected to a Director profile.

    If all these files that you want to remove the read-only attribute on the D: drive, perform the following steps. Use these commands exactly as written, including spaces.

    1. open the elevated command prompt by using the profile administrator.

    The location should display C:\Windows\system32 >

    2 type cd\

    Press ENTER

    The location should now show C:\ >

    3. Type  D:

    Press ENTER

    4 location should now show D:\ >

    5 type attrib - r *. * /s /d

    Press ENTER

    This should remove the read-only attribute of all folders and files on that drive.

    Test and let us know the results.

  • Is it possible to set up a site with a read-only ftp access

    I have a production server and a development server and work on a project with the non - DW users. Often, I need to download files from the production server, but never need to download to it (it's someone other responsibility).

    I have two FTP accounts for the production server, one with unlimited access with read-only. I would like to implement a DW site that uses the read-only account to get the files from the server. It would also prevent me from accidentally upload on this server.

    Unfortunately, I get permission denied errors when accessing the account read-only. I guess that's because the account does not write permission. I checked that the credentials work by FTPing the site using FileZilla and uploading a file.

    The DW FTP requires write to a GET operation on a file?

    Nevermind, answered this myself. It is possible, but the user must configure the site with the correct host directory.

  • defragment a volume read-only?

    How do I defrag my pc when he always tells me "cannot defragment the volume read-only C?

    You need to change read only to normal C (how have you managed to make drive C read only anyway?).   This is done with the ownership and permissions.  Here is information on the two that will help you make the necessary changes.

    To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista:http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/. To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

    To solve this problem with folders, folders takeownership or the reader (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html. To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

    Once you have the permissions of all rights and ownership of the drive, then you can change the read-only attribute and should allow you to defragment.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • ALTER USER on read-only database link db

    Oracle 11.2.0.3.6

    Solaris 10

    I have a primary database and one Active Data Guard standby database physical.  My read-only database users must be able to change their password for read-only standby.  I tried to create a stored procedure with an ALTER USER inside statement and then to have my user call the stored procedure of the unalterable standby by: MIMI EXEC. CHGPWD@PRIM ();

    This translates into:

    ERROR on line 1:

    ORA-16000: database opened for read-only access

    ORA-06512: at "MIMI. CHGPWD', line 27

    ORA-06512: at line 1

    How can I allow a user who cannot access the read-only database to change their password for read-only standby?

    Here my stored procedure:

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE MIMI. CHGPWD IS

    -CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE CHGPWD IS

    sql_stmt VARCHAR2 (200);

    BEGIN

    sql_stmt: = 'ALTER USER MIMITEST IDENTIFIED BY 111111';

    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt;

    END CHGPWD;

    /

    Ah, I got it!  I had to create a public synonym for my stored procedure, and then create another stored procedure and use the synonym.  This is explained in the documentation of Oracle packages and PL/SQL procedures coding under the section 'referring to remote objects.  Here is what I have from the beginning to the end (My SID is MIMI and the unique name on the primary is MIMI_A):

    Read-only mode ensures:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET GLOBAL_NAMES IS FALSE SCOPE = BOTH;.

    Elementary school:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET GLOBAL_NAMES IS FALSE SCOPE = BOTH;.

    CREATE THE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK MIMI_A.WORLD WITH THE HELP OF "MIMI_A";

    ALTER SYSTEM SET GLOBAL_NAMES IS TRUE SCOPE = BOTH;.  (I need to have this true on my primary game)

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE MIMI. CHGPWD IS

    Working directory;

    BEGIN

    dbms_job. Submit (job,' BEGIN EXECUTE IMMEDIATE "ALTER USER MIMITEST IDENTIFIED BY 666666";) END ;') ;

    END;

    CREATE CHGPASS SYNONYM PUBLIC FOR MIMI. CHGPWD@MIMI_A.WORLD;

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE MIMI. LOCAL_PROCEDURE IS

    BEGIN

    CHGPASS;

    END;

    /

    GRANT EXECUTE MIMI. CHGPWD TO MIMITEST;

    GRANT EXECUTE MIMI. LOCAL_PROCEDURE TO MIMITEST;

  • How to format FAT32 Memory Stick that says that it is read only

    I have a 8 GB USB key (directly from the provider) that I can't write or re-form.  Under sharing and permissions of the USB it says that my access is read-only.  If I try to delete it via disk utility I get an error message saying it didn't - I see by looking at the "details" that permission has been denied.

    I tried to re - format the USB on a windows as well without success.

    Suspect it may be defective and are returned to the vendor but I was wondering if anyone has something else to think about.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cliff

    If you can not select the drive and delete and back in shape, then it is a bad drive. No new flash drive would come from a manufacturer as read only anyway. Even your mac must write in this format.

  • Photos appear as read only files

    cannot remove the read-only my vista jointsdans.

    I can't remove the read-only my files (at least in the photos).  It is provided with a solid box, not a check mark and I can't remove it.  I need to edit and print photos, and I don't know what to do.  The only software I have installed is a HP printer wireless on my home network.

    Hi HeatherSt,

    -Have you noticed this change after you install HP printer software?
    -Were you able to edit photos without any problems before?
    Is there another account administrator user on your computer?

    Note: It is possible that change a read-only file can cause a program that relies on the file to stop working properly, so be sure that it's okay to change a read-only file before you proceed.

    Cannot change files read-only, but they can be copied, moved, renamed, or deleted. Therefore, try to Rename the file or perform one of these operations and check if that helps.

  • Read-only - user files - can't change for write access

    In the users (only one user) section all the folders are read-only. I'm moving to the music in my music file, but it won't let me. Windows Vista

    This sounds like a permission problem.  When I came across a similar problem with Vista, I installed a registry patch that adds a' Take Ownership"option in the context menu to reset the permissions on the files."  Simply right click on a folder you are the difficulties to access to the, (IE C:\Users\YourUserName) and then click "Take Ownership" allows you to access these folders and all subfolders beneath it read/write. This is what solved my problems:

  • problem with write access to truecrypt readers windows 7. The mounted drive is not writing priveliges. Read-only. Cannot change in the security permissions.

    Hi amcop4591,

    1. How is - that Mount you the drive on the computer?

    2 Di you use any third-party tool to mount the drive?

    I suggest that you remove the external drive using the disk management and check back later if you can change the permissions on the drive.

    If you change the permissions, make changes to the permissions on the drive and then mount the drive.

    Mount or dismount a drive
