Access denied help community CS5.5

Just installed CS5.5 Production Premium (Mac), cannot access the help of Illustrator or After Effects.

Suite is registered and activated. Help works in Audition, Photoshop, Bridge, Flash, first, Manager of Extensions, but have not tried all the applications.

I need to contact support? I really need to use help in all programs (especially AE).

HI: I deeply apologize for this problem. We have identified the cause and pushed for an immediate fix.  To resolve this problem, please follow the steps described in this document: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/902/cpsid_90284.html

This is the cause: application help is based on a small XML file called Configuration Help file. This file tells the application where to find and download the latest content.  Unfortunately, this file was accidentally pushed with an intermediate address rather than the final production URL (help.adobe.com).  There is a separate file for each product of point and the help application will automatically check a new version on start up. However, to be absolutely sure/certain you have the correct set of files, please follow the instructions described in the above knowledge base document.

Yet once again, our sincere apologies for this problem. We implement the new controls/processes to ensure that this does not happen.

    Best is to avoid the bookmarking a specific page which has been achieved by sending POST data in a (hidden) form or bookmarking a page that contains the GET data added to the URL (? xxx = xxx) or links to a specific area in the case where load balancing is used because they can easily get broken if changes are made to the server.

  • CS5.5 error message "access denied."

    No additional information provided other than 'access denied '.  I can burn Blu - ray discs, but when I try to burn a DVD double layer this error message appears.  I have about 1.5 GB of space on the DVD, then, what is the average of "Access denied" error message to double layer?

    There are few examples of solutions other than running as an administrator. It is probably because the error occurs for many reasons. Since you say "no additional information", I guess that's the "access denied" and not the "Blu - ray error: 'access denied', Code:"12"error." It doesn't matter really; the same run as administrator is the fix. But the bluray error has been a known issue for Encore CS5.

    Make sure that you really like ongoing run 'as administrator' and don't not running under an account with administrative privileges. And if you have still set to always start 'as administrator', check who has lost none of its value.

    Another issue I found was a user who has removed the slideshows, created the project, and cela worked.

  • Thin client HP 5740e: HELP! Expired password and should be changed but access denied when you try to do

    I have a thin client HP 5740e and for some reason any local user account requires a password change.  Yet, when I try to change the password it says access denied.  And yet, I can't it to allow me to move to another counts as administrator to open a session.  I held down the SHIFT key during startup, but it always goes straight to this local user account & the expired password prompt. I'm stuck in an infinite loop and do not know how to cope.  Safe mode puts me in the same situation.  And I can't update the BIOS because I can't have everything.

    I also tried to reinstall the last image of the HP Web site using a USB key, but it fails every time. I tried 2 different USB drives with the same exact error no each.

    I finally could get as an administrator using RDP to my office.  I didn't know the name of thin client lacked a figure, that's why I've been unsuccessful before that.

    Once I got away, I could watch the local user account permissions.  Now I see what was wrong.

    I still don't know why I couldn't install a new image of the plant, but at least I am now able to work with this device.  I also disabled the automatic connection at the moment.

  • Access denied! Really need help!

    Hi all! I'm in trouble here! So I have an old Win. XP hard drive that won't start not, but I can see how never all files and folders on the disc of Windows 7! Now evertime I try to listen to my music or looking at old photos of me and friends I get the error message access denied!.  I took controlling everything on the side of win 7 but I can't make the drive to start xp. Is it possible to have access to all the pictures and music by my computer root system or something?

    You cannot start XP to this old hard drive. When you say that you have "taken control of any side win 7 [translation]" do you mean that you took possession of the XP disc? If this is not the case, what I would do.

    Check the permissions of the file or folder the file is saved in and appropriated:
          
    1. right click on the file or folder and then click Properties.
    2. click on the Security tab.
    3. under group or user names, click your name to see the permissions you have.

    To take ownership of a folder:

    1 right click on the folder you want to take control and then click Properties.
    2. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.
    3. click on modify. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    4. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.
    5. If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the Replace owner of subcontainers and objects to check.
    6. click on OK

    If this does not work for you, then I'd probably make quick/Sales by starting the computer with a distro Linux Live (either from CD or USB, key USB) and copy the data files XP on an external hard drive. Linux will not honor Windows permissions. If you want to keep these data on the old disk, I format the drive from Windows 7 and then copy data to it. If you do not plan the maintenance of the old drive, you would simply copy the data into the appropriate folders in your Windows 7 user directory (music, Documents, etc.).

    Trying to enter the recommended such command in Windows Update error 80246005 error handling to allow writing to the Catroot2 folder, I get the message "Access denied to c:\windows\system32\catroot2", even thougn, I am the administrator.
    This folder is write - protected, and I'm not able to change this attribute.

    I get the error that is displayed in the title line when you try to install the application of steam for the game Left4Dead. Just in case where the window title does not display the full error message:

    I checked my system and performed the following tasks to try to resolve the problem:
    My version of Windows is up-to-date. I have no problem hardware or exceptional driver. I tried to temporarily disable my antivirus to complete the installation, this does not solve the problem. I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.
    I came across the following link which has promised to solve the problem;

    I followed the instructions at three times, all with the same error message.
    The default program is responsible for the following: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Steam.
    I tried to load the program on different hard disks and got the same error code.
    I have triple checked all user profiles to make sure that the appropriate privileges have been set (Admin). I checked all the steam program elements to ensure that they have been set to run as a program director executed.     This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).
     
    1. check your Windows user permissions.
    Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
    2. check the file attributes
    3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
    4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
    5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
    6. check the settings of your security software
     
    If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.
     
    Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.
     
    In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
    1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
    2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
    3. click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. check run as administrator and click OK.
    5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
    6. then run Steme.exe again.

  • access denied while installing google chrome

    Win XP Home SP3 2002 does not allow me to run Google Chrome; It installs successfully, but it says "Access denied" when I try to run it.

    The usual diagnosis (reboot, uninstall/reinstall it from another web site, safe mode, disable Norton virus Protection, etc...) has failed.
