ACCESS DENIED network wifi sharing of resources

Attempts to access the wifi sharing on my Blackberry PlayBook – and your security guard Windows program saying ACCESS DENIED and asks me to enter my username, network and password. I do, he rejects me again.

It worked perfectly for YEARS and I can't access my network resources due to a change in program on your end!

MSE is generating the error...

I'm on the MSE forum every day and I've never heard of MSE causing such an error.

But if you are satisfied with MSE is causing your problem, then I suggest you to uninstall MSE and use another anti-malware software program... is what I would do if MSE was causing my computer doesn't work does not correctly.

  • Error message "Access denied" on the sharing of files and folders on a dual-boot computer.

    I have a Dual Boot PC - the two Windows 7 Home Premium - one 32-bit, 64-bit.

If I try to access files created in the 32-bit system to the 64-bit system, I get "Access Denied" errors. This is extremely annoying as its my PC, my data, my everything!

The only way to solve the problem seems to be to give all permissions to "Everyone", but then I get my parcel Internet Security complain bitterly that my PC is now open to piracy because I gave "Everyone" full access permissions.

I searched the Web and Microsoft, but I never seem to find exactly what I'm looking for; part of my search text seems to have more weight than another. For example, I add "in the system to dual-boot" and I get links to creating a dual boot system.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to grant permissions to access 32-bit system folder to the main user on the 64 bit system, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you very much.

  • Access denied from mid June patch. Shared printers. Area.

We have field and from time to time, we need to share a local printer to other computers. For years we could simply type in the computer name //blehbleh and there we can see the shared printer. After June 15, ish, this no longer works. However, this works for administrators, but not for normal users. Simply, we get the access denied error. If I go to the networks I can even see the computer, but if you try to connect to the computer you are not prompted to administrator user/pw to access either.

    Thank you

    Anthony

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

I have a drive mapped to the network, but (My Computer) icon is a folder. I get access denied when I click on the drive. But if I open windows Explorer, I can access the drive mapped without problems. Win Xp

    original title: mapped drive error.

    Hello

Make sure that the mapped drive is configured to share and works on part.

Auto-mappage will not work if there is a problem with sharing.

    Maybe this can help.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted

Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

  • network printer access denied

My office is an imac, and I have two laptops one computers running on windows xp, the other on windows 7 starter edition.  I shared the printer on my network and my laptop than rusn on windows 7 can print without problem. When I try to print from the windows xp laptop it says access denied, unable to connect.  the two laptops successfully connect to the internet.  I checked my imac printer sharing pref. It says is shared on the network and that all users can print.

    Hello paulette.

    ·         Have you been able to print from the Windows XP machine earlier?

    ·         Did you the latest changes on the Windows XP computer?

You can uninstall the printer completely go Add / Remove Programs & then try to reinstall and see if the problem still occurs.

    (a) you can use the supplied with your printer installation CD to install the drivers for the printer on your computer software. Alternatively, you can download & install the software of the printer from the manufacturer's website.

    (b) connect the printer wireless on the computer. Make sure the printer is powered before you continue.

    (c) click Start menu > settings > Control Panel > printers and faxes.

    (d) click on "Add a printer" in the navigation bar on the left under "Print jobs." The "Add Printer Wizard" opens.

    (e) follow the wizard until you reach the page "Network or local printer" and choose "Local printer"... «or «Printer network...» "Choose the basis on the question of if the printer is connected directly on this computer or a print server or other computers on the network.

    (f) type the wireless network password, if prompted. The Printer Wizard can also ask to install drivers to print before the final connection is made. Click 'Yes' If you receive this prompt.

    (g) close the wizard when you get to "Finish."

  • Access denied error for some files pdf and jpg transferred via a network home of microsoft (working group)

I use a home network of microsoft are working on a Linksys router.  Some (not all) files jpg and pdf transferred over the network producing the error access denied when you try to open, change of name, copy, etc.  I am not able to copy files thesse in a Breifcase on the remote computer which I use for backup.

The original files are in agreement on basic computer; If I archive in a zip file I can decompress and open the files on the remote computer. If I copy on a zip drive and hand to the remote computer, the files are correct.  It might have started because I've upgraded to SP3.  Disable Norton doesn't seem to help.  I downloaded and used LockHunter which shows the files are not locked and does nothing to help them open.

OS - XP Pro with SP3.  Security - Norton Internet Security - 20010. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and Adobe Phtoshop 6.0 but to open JPGs with other programs and save back doesn't help.

Any ideas?  I use the net sneaker now and stood up on the local network.

    Bill

Well, I found my problem.  After many attempts to unlock files and cureing my registry etc etc. I put the properties on each of the files to enable sharing.  After this Briefcase has worked and I can open the files on the remote control.  I feel stupid: not really!

You can check the following link and try to run the manual Intel WiFi diagnostic tool to check the functionality of your WiFi adapter.

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Intel wireless card and check.

    a. Click Start and type in Device Manager in the start search and press ENTER.

    b. expand the network adapters in the Device Manager

    c. right-click on the device, and then click Properties

    d. click on the driver tab and click on uninstall the drivers and click OK.

    e. restart the computer and check.

You can also see the Intel Web site and try to download the latest version of the card wifi drivers.

I can connect to the drive mapping (z) or by using the path network (\\MyBookLive\Backup)

Using the Explorer, I have AUTHORIZED AND CAN create, delete, and copy files. I can also create or delete directories.

Using Windows 7 backup, I add the network drive when you are prompted, as well as the user name and password. No error on this point.
