  • FTP error. Access denied. The file does not exist (only on the roots)?

    Having a strange problem.

I just installed CS 5.5 and got one of my sites all over the place. I can connect to my remote server very well and download to any directory other than the root?

If I do, then I get this error (see below). This happens only when I try and put the files at the root, don't know why. I tried all the little things like:

    -liability of the rocker

    -site to redefine

    .....

I can use any other FTP program and I can not put the files in the ROOT, so it's just a thing of dreamweaver 5.5. I also tried my Dreamweaver CS3 on my old mac and it works like a charm!

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

  • Access denied for the files that I am recovering from a backup

A lot of my music files were accidentally deleted, but they are still in my computer under protection of owner but the computer indicates that access is denied. Hello

    ·        When it asks for the installation of .NET framework?

    ·        Where did you install the .net framework and how, thanks to Windows updates?

There are many .net framework available updates that must be installed on the system.

    ·        What version of the .net framework is installed on the system and what is the version prompting to be installed on the system?

I suggest you to check in the patches installed on the system if the .net framework is installed on the system or not.

Begin again by a right click and choose 'run as administrator '. Try again. This version fixes a number of problems.

Windows Update forum is one of the three forums that doesn't have different forums for different versions of Windows (Internet Explorer and the game are the others).  With this in mind, we ask that you postat LEAST the following information.  If you don't know how to find some of the information and then post what you can and let us know that you need help to find information.

    Minimum information to validate:
Version of Windows and Service pack level. (Windows XP Home Edition, SP3; Vista Home Premium, SP1; Windows 7 Ultimate, etc...)
Post also if you use 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows.

Update the number of the last update installed before any problem.  If you do not know the number of update, then give the date that the update has been installed.  The number of updates update failed.

Error code updates failed or if you think an update caused a blue screen, give the blue screen error codes.

    Other information to validate:
Measures already taken to correct the problem and the results of the measures.

If the question is never happened before with other updates.

A few other useful parts are:
What program antivirus you use, if it is up-to-date, and there has never been any other installed antivirus program.
If your version of Windows has been upgraded from a previous version or if it came with (or clean installed with) the version you are currently using.

  • I get an error, access denied to the C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp

Original title: access denied to the C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp

    Hello

I have a problem with the Windows 7 C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp temp folder. Sort randomly, I lose access to this folder, in the sense that if I open a cmd terminal and I try to cd to that folder, it gives an access denied error (at least that I start cmd as administrator). I noticed in the list of permissions on this folder does not appear the SYSTEM. I read somewhere that this is the problem, so I added back, and then it worked. Unfortunately it disappears every day the list of permissions, and I have to put in place every day which is annoying. Do you know what could cause this problem? How can I see which changes these permissions?
    Thank you

    Hi Razvan,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community

According the information you have provided, I understand that you found error access denied when using certain commands to the command prompt. I will certainly help you in this matter.

    1. have you logged as administrator?

    2. do you have an antivirus software installed?

Some commands that you run at a command prompt, you need the administrative privileges for the good functioning of Windows.

    See the link.

Try to open an administrator command prompt. Then cd to the desktop. Finally, run 'attrib-h - r s' and also ' attrib s h - r/s -*.» * ». Then right-click on the folder and check the button unblock. Similarly, with all the files in the folder, pledge. Never underestimate your own stupidity.

  • Error message "Access denied" on the sharing of files and folders on a dual-boot computer.

    I have a Dual Boot PC - the two Windows 7 Home Premium - one 32-bit, 64-bit.

If I try to access files created in the 32-bit system to the 64-bit system, I get "Access Denied" errors. This is extremely annoying as its my PC, my data, my everything!

The only way to solve the problem seems to be to give all permissions to "Everyone", but then I get my parcel Internet Security complain bitterly that my PC is now open to piracy because I gave "Everyone" full access permissions.

I searched the Web and Microsoft, but I never seem to find exactly what I'm looking for; part of my search text seems to have more weight than another. For example, I add "in the system to dual-boot" and I get links to creating a dual boot system.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to grant permissions to access 32-bit system folder to the main user on the 64 bit system, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you very much.

  • Try to open certain files, get "Access denied" on the owner user account

Windows 7 computer lists me (Walt) as has permission to read/write to certain folders & files.  It also lists system and owner as having this authoirity.  It worries me that Walt and owner are indicated separately, when they actually have to be the same entity, but maybe it's normal.  Anyway, Win 7 won't let me open certain folders such as Documents & settings fokder ("Access denied" message).  How can I fix it?  I wouldn't 'Access denied' to all the folders or files on my own computer.

    Hi, Walt

Many of default folders that didn't exist not in Windows XP have had changes of name starting with Windows Vista.

With the icon of the shortcut folders are symlinks or junctions (AKA: flexible links or Points). They are there for compatibility with older programs that are hard coded to look for these old folder names when the former program is installed.

These files have special properties that take the old Installer to the new location in Windows 7. This allows the program to install and works under Windows 7, seamlessly.

A good example is the C:\Documents and Settings folder. This file has been used in previous versions (XP) to store all the files of the users. When an older program that was written for XP is installed, the junction called Documents and Settings will be redirect this installer to the new location in Windows 7, which is the folder C:\Users.

Because they are very important to the operation of Windows 7, they have all of the properties, everyone = access is denied.

A junction can be used as a normal file, they contain all the files or data. If security for a junction properties are changed, this can cause a long list of very difficult problems, including the need to reinstall the operating system to recover.

There are a lot of these flexible connections in Windows 7.

Windows has supported the use of hubs for a long time, but they were not used extensively until Windows Vista.

It is recommended that the user does not change the properties of these files, as this may cause some programs stop working or other behavior that can lead to more serious problems.

    Hello

I try to copy the files in the folder c:\program (x 86) and continue to receive the access denied error.

How can I copy the files without getting that error?

I have read a number of forums on this topic and, in theory, robocopy is supposed to be the answer... but I keep getting access denied error.

    Thank you

You must run robocopy in a cmd with elevated rights.
