access denied to administrator
I'm the only one who uses my laptop, and my account is an administrator account, but for some reason when I logged on today, my computer won't let me not the Task Manager windows access, because it has been disabled by my administrator. I am the only administrator on my computer account. It also doesn't let me change my desktop wallpaper. He said: "this feature has been disabled. Please contact your system administrator for details. "any help would be appreciated, thanks.
If happen all of a sudden and you don't have any installation of a policy, it could be potential unwanted software or some malware that do as long as Exchange backgroud is not political general admin.
I suggest that you connect to the following Web site: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm
run a full scan and registry clean and malware (if applicable)
Then reboot yor PC. If you do not have Anti-Malware, I suggest installing one such as Microsoft Security Essentials .
If problem still chairs contact Microsoft Anti-Malware team or team of Microsoft Support.

File access denied to administrator in Windows 7
My Windows 7 crashed.

RESET the DEFAULT SECURITY settings - according to the alternative for Vista - still no access to recordsHelp, please.

Access denied to administrator records
It is a new machine, Windows 7 Pro. After installing TN3270 Plus SDI Software, which created folders in C:\Program Files (x 86), I copied my config from my old XP machine files in the program folder. This succeeded. One of the config files should be amended to refer to the directory on the new machine. I open the file in Notepad, and when I tried to save it, I got the Save As dialogue... and then I learned that I was unable to save in this directory, under the original name or any other. I had to record on C:\Users\
\My Documents and then copy under a new name for the program directory, delete the original and rename the new version original name. The last two steps required me to click OK to administrator privileges to perform the operation. My user name is in the Administrators group. To work around this problem, I had to take ownership of the folder on the SYSTEM, after which I could grant privileges to edit files.
That leaves me with two questions: one, when possessed by the SYSTEM, this directory showed a grey check, not surrounded by a box, for a full control for the Administrators group. Why do I have this problem? I'll have to do it for each program I install?
And three - while I have you here - I notice that the permissions are grayed out for some groups, while for others, they are not, and for those who are grayed out, sometimes the box is inside a box and sometimes not. What does each mean?
Thank you
MikeTo avoid that certain types of infections of malware, Windows 7 does not allow users to store files in the program files and Program Files (x 86) folders. For this reason, ownership of these files is not recommended.
Applications that are compatible with Windows 7 should store their data in the folder data of the user, and not in the program files. Some programs allow you to specify this choice during installation.
To edit a file in the program folder, right click on Notepad and run it as an administrator.

MSCONFIG - access denied, must be logged on as administrator
When I run MSCONFIG, I get a message "Access denied, must be logged on as administrator to make changes" when I get out of it. If I make a change, the change takes effect, so this isn't really "deny" me anything. However, I get the message if I make a change or not. By doing a few google' ing/forum tedious reading, it seems that there is a cut with Windows XP and Norton Internet Security 2010/2011. It apparently does not on Windows 7 or Vista, or with NIS 2009. It prevents me from doing anything, it's just a major nuisance. I would like to check if this is the issue I'm having. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

"Access denied" for the administrator
I have only my account (like my name and "Computer administrator") and the comments "the guest account is disabled. Even with that, I get "Access denied" when I try to delete the "System Volume Information" (has two verses in the archive according to my antivirus software). What is the next step to the top of "Computer administrator" who will make me even better access. I really want to be the boss of this thing, not the tail which is moved.
System Volume Information is a protected operating system file, and users cannot remove it. It can contain files created by System Restore . To remove content System Volume Information , turn off System Restore , then turn on again. That will delete all restore points, then create a new one.
Note that infections in System Volume Information cannot become active and cause damage to the system unless you intentionally run the system restore and restore the system to a date and hour earlier.

I have administrator privileges, but when I run CHKDSK it says access denied due to insufficient privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode.
How can I fix it?
Hello
1. what prompted to run chkdsk on your computer?
To work with this problem, refer to these methods.
Method 1:
I suggest that you disable the antivirus software temporarily and try to run chkdsk on your computer.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Warning:
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.Method 2:
You can check disk errors using the command-line of the system recovery options in Windows 7.
What are the system recovery options in Windows 7?
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7
To open the System Recovery Options, see the section: to open the menu system on your computer Recovery Options
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.
Check if it helps.
