access for Windows Vista Manager

I set parental controls on my computer.  I put a password on the computer for the Access Manager.  However, regardless of the site, I get a message requesting the password.  I even deleted the accounts set up to get rid of this message and stop having to use a password to access the info from the internet.  Nothing has worked.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of this pain that I call 'box of Messenger of the Access Manager with "Please enter a password'?

Thank you bunches!

    Hi Montanamountainhorse,

    First of all, check that you have installed Vista Service Pack 2. If Service Pack 2 is not installed on the computer, you can install the stand-alone version of Windows Vista Service Pack 2. Hello

    You should get your software driver from your computer or hardware manufacturer, not through Windows Update (with the exception of updates from Microsoft Hardware).

    Access the site on your computer or hardware manufacturer > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.

    I lost my recovery for windows Vista disk. How can I restore the computer to its original factory State? I can't find how to create recovery discs, I did not have this option in the Recovery Manager

    Hello

    Here are the different ways to reinstall vista

    Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

    they do it for a nominal cost of $

    also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

    you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

    Ask them of the exact key sequence

    or borrow a microsoft dvd vista

    Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

    they contain all versions of vista

    This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

    Hi Joy,.

    Let us work together to solve this problem.

    During the installation of Windows Vista SP1, this problem occurs when a third-party application holds open a file or locks a file that the Service Pack installer should use. For example, an application third-party antivirus or antispyware may cause this problem. I suggest you temporarily uninstall any antivirus software and check if you are able to install the service pack. Please do not forget to reactivate once the process is complete.

    Method 1: Alternatively, you can reset Windows Update components.

    How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Method 2: I ask that you download and run the system update readiness tool and check if you are able to install the service pack.

  • When I scan for Windows Vista Service Pack update (published 4/2009) comes in,

    I redid my computer a few months ago restore to factory settings and restore my files from a backup disk. Everything seemed to work properly.  A few weeks ago a full scan found a worm & some virus which I removed. Now, I have a problem with the updates. When I scan for Windows Vista Service Pack update (published 4/2009) arrives.  When I click to install it, it is saying it is correctly installed (in 30 seconds) and yet he continues to come when I'm scanning for updates.    Should I restore settings again?  After looking for info on the forums of windows, I did the System File Checker to check corrupt files.  Several corrupted files appear in the details of the SFC.  But their fixation is "over my head".   I glued the SFC details below. • After you install service pack 2 for windows vista

    After installing service pack 2 for windows vista on my HP laptop, I started having a few problems. First off the computer would not go beyond the Welcome screen because he showed that an update was the installation (step 1 of 3:0 % etc.) and the computer reboots before finish. It kept the case whenever I started upward, even on safe mode. I tried to restore, but it would never be completed and nothing else would work. Now I can't go beyond the microsoft loading screen because it shows a black flat screen with no cursor. I can't enter safe mode. Help, please. Safe mode only shows the start screen but won't start so I can't access the control panel and tried to boot to the last known successful startup but it failed.

    Hello

    Try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft

    Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

    Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

    If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

    2. How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair

    4. Conclusion

    If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

    Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

    Here is a link to it:

  • Need to restore disc for Windows Vista Home Premium

    original title: need to restore the disc for Windows Vista Home Premium on Pavilion dv2000 laptop wiped out by Staples!

    Had clips to make a diagnosis and PC tune-up. Apparently everything was fine, until I refused to let them upgrade my Pavilion dv2000 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium to Windows 7. Don't know what they did, but now I get a black screen and cannot access the laptop at all. Is there a cure?

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    See you soon.
