topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties >

to the service status, click Start
Click OK when finished.

    Hi gregg harr,

You have other security software like antivirus installed on the computer?

You can't have more security or anti-virus software installed on the computer. If you have any other software then windows Defender can turn off automatically according to the other programs on the computer.

But I can reach the dashboard main... just not open all documents. All that I gave the error, the illustrator has stopped working, with no additional info...

What can I do? Already restarted my computer several times and did restart CTRL + ALT + SHIFT Illustrator, did not help.

EDIT: Also tried reinstalling illustrator alltogether, didn't work as well...

You must set a default printer that is always available and of course compatible. So, Yes, use Adobe PDF printer.

  • MonthCalendar window cut on the RHS

MonthCalendar .net control display is cut on the RIGHT side. I use LV9 on Window 7 32 bit. I tried to resize the control, but it resets the value by default when the vi is run. I also tried to change the size of property without success node. This problem is reproducible on multiple systems. Everyone knows about this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

I guess that RHS = right side.

My advice is to bag the .NET calendar and use the MonthView of ActiveX control instead.

  • Error 0 x 80096001, several errors during the installation of Visual Studio, or running Windows Update or defender.

Hello. I wanted to run Visual Studio 2010 Express edition on my Vista Home Premium, but ran into way too many problems. First of all, download have not installed because of a problem with the installation of .NET framework v4.0. Then I tried to VS 2008, but has encountered the same problem with the .NET framework. Whenever I try to run Windows update, it displays error Code 80096001 and said "Windows could not check for new updates. So I tried to download .net directly from microsoft downloads, but whenever I try to install it, it says I need to turn on .net "turn on or off windows features", in the control panel. I tried, but the list is completely empty, it shows nothing at all. I downloaded the vista sp1, but it too installation stops with error code 0 x 80096001.
I tried to disable my anti-virus (avg free). Windows Defender does not initially upward or through subsequent attempts to run it. It shows the same error code. Please advise on how I can solve these problems and use Visual Studio... it's very frustrating because I never had these problems with XP... everything worked.

    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

  • Is updated to Windows Vista Ultimate Defender

This happened after installing CCleaner and check almost all the options to clean up space on the hard drive... one of the options was Windows Defender.  Now Defender is no longer able to update.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling which is impossible as defender is integrated into the operating system.  Installed Malwarebytes in the meantime.  I was wondering if anyone had an easy solution to solve this problem otherwise, I'll just live with Malwarebytes.

Windows Defender on Vista and Win 7 is disabled when AVG, McAfee, MSE, Norton and other similar products are installed.

  • SERIOUS PROBLEM! Help! Windows not working, Defender update do not update, missing system restore points...

Someone please help! I am an intermediate user and I can't get windows update to work since December 4. I was on youtube and what you clicked on a link under a video, a Malware Removal window skipped upward and before I could do anything he disappeared since this happened, windows update does not work, (not KB972696) (error 80072efe code). I ran AVG, advanced system care and a multitude of online programs that say they will fix the problem with nothing doesn't. I tried to remove the "winhelp" virus last night by doing the hard and using regedit, but it did not help. I'll do anything to remedy. Can someone help me please. I am at a total loss about what to do next? I get a sign of malware/trojan removal of ad-aware and defender who said "onacokuhupotovun.dll_old" but he says it removed but it comes back. I get a pop-up from windows saying "a service host has stopped working and was closed" but soen can't say that. How can I return update still works once, then update of Defender and system restore points?

I use an Intel core duo 2, E7500 2.94 ghz, 4gig of ram, Vista professional.

    Help, please!

    Hello

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

    a. I'll get a scanner online using the link below and check if that helps eliminate malware.

    b. you can also run a scan in SafeMode with networking online, which is known to be more effective in eliminating the virus/malware.

    Step 2:

If possible, download and install Windows Security Essentials and run a full analysis of the PC (Personal Computer) in normal mode or safe mode .

For Windows Update problem, you can follow the methods of the link below and check if the problem persists.

  • Windows 8 guard flicker after refreshing the computer

Original title: Guard split windows environment

My laptop is windows 8... environmental windows guard flicker like a jump of frame if you play video games.  If im watching a movie in full screen it forces the application to exit the full screen also while playing games like fifa it minimizes by itself, as if you're in an environment like say the documents or any folder, you would see the image flicker as if you click outside the environment and click back on it in a few seconds. I don't know what's happening or why it does this.  Everything started after I made the option "refresh your pc without affecting your files.

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks for the reply.

    Method 1:
You can install all Windows updates available including the optional updates and check if it helps.

    Method 2:

If the problem persists, I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and check if the problem persists or not. If the problem does not occur in Mode without failure, you can set up your computer in a clean boot and check if it helps.

    Step 1
    :
Start the computer in safe mode. At the start of the computer Mode safe with the minimum set of drivers and files.

Start settings for Windows (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode

If the problem does not occur in safe mode with network, try step 2:

    Step 2:
Set up your computer in a clean boot state. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

I've seen a number of tickets associated with this issue, so in a way I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Also, I tried to update my card wifi drivers. They were already up to date.
I uninstalled Norton Internet Security and restarted. Still not good.
It happens on my work and the network.
It's very annoying. If the cuts internet to every 2-10 minutes, then it is impossible to play a competitive game. I can always just reconnect to the network, but it's awkward to do.

So the model number is a Samsung, NP680z5e (NP680z5e-x01us)

I found the problem. There is an another wireless driver update which can be found in the sw update. It is not sound obvious that you need this driver update and if you never open sw update then you will never find the solution. Such a jump big bug.
In the past I had updated only the drivers through the Device Manager.
The link you posted does not help. I tried almost everything. I hope this helps someone else. Apparently this model has been ever been tested for more than 10 minutes after everything has been completely assembled out of the factory. There are layers and layers of drivers and settings to regulate your, half-light of map and graphic display. If you miss a layer, then things do behave as expected.
  • Help! 10.2.3 FINAL CUT GUARD CRASH

Stupidly, I've upgraded to final cut 10.2.3 today February 11, 2016 and guess what... it crashes everytime I try and open one of the libraries that are not open when I upgraded. I have 4 days work pending (40 short films) stuck in the limbo of final cut and need to export this weekend and for the customers.

I don't know what to do? If you have any advice I would really appreciate them... and if you think of the upgrade are not!

  • Windows 10 guard break

Whenever I try to install Windows 10, install fine. However, about 10 minutes after the bootcamp drivers have installed and restart the computer, the screen goes black and I can't do anything, so I have to restart. Before arriving at the login screen, it will restart a couple of times until it says "preparing Atomic Recovery ' followed by 'diagnose your PC." It brings me to a page where it says I can restore the PC to a previous state, but it will always brings me back to the version before I installed the Bootcamp drivers. The internet does ' t work without drivers and I cannot use USB because he always puts in a way that is not readable on OS X. If I click on cancel it lead me to a list of options, but none of them helped. I checked the disk and (as expected), there is no problem. I tried to reinstall Windows 10 several times with different partition sizes but continues to be the same thing.

iMac, retina 4K, i5 3.1 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB of disk Fusion

Please see 10 crashing Windows, but don't know why.
