  • Really need to access the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack SDK

    Hello

My company has tried very hard access to SDK Toshiba. We followed the instructions listed in the http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=faq/sdk a couple of times now in the last four weeks and have yet to hear a response. As indicated in the site as well, I checked to make sure that the message has not be blocked by SPAM.

My company has no problem to sign an NDA.

Can someone please help to speed up this process?

Maybe you should try it again. I guess that momentarily is vacation time and even if I'm on vacation. ;)

I already had contacted in a different case and it was the year at the same time last. They said in September so I guess they should do the same in your case...

  • manage all folios and access all the Analytics

    Hello and happy new year

We have an urgent question about dps:

We create an adobe id different for each application we build.

by downloading folios associated with a certain app to the folio Builder we need to connect with this specific adobe ID?

or can we use 1 adobe ID to manage all folios for all applications.

which is the best way to go, in the long term to manage all folios and access all the Analytics.

Please let us know as soon as possible.

    Ediz

one account per app. Yes, you have to identify you with this Adobe ID to create content for this App. unless you intend to create application kiosk (one that shows all folios of all content), this is the right approach.

  • How to access the old iomega 100 files on Windows 7?

I guess I need a current and relevant driver to allow my old drive 100 iomega to work when I plug it into my Windows 7 computer. But - Is it true? Are there? Will it work at all? What other issues should I know? I don't remember the OS, I got when I bought the drive unlike the year 1999-2001.

Site of Iomega said the next thing that is qualified for Windows 7 32 bit: ' Zip® disks: Zip® USB, ATAPI, FireWire or SCSI 100 MB, 250 MB or 750MO drives should work with native drivers in Windows 7. " Software done IomegaWare does NOT with Windows 7, so the IomegaWare functionality will be unavailable. »

I'm sorry my computer knowledge level is well below those of you on this site (but I am learning! is perhaps not listed here) but I have been unable to find clear assistance on the web... 'native' - so Windows 7 can simply accept the zip drive? This sounds very wrong - also Iomega may simply refer to the course Zip 100, 250, etc..

I have the 64-bit version of Windows 7 (HP Pavilion dv7): what about that qualified for both 32 and 64-bit, it has an entry for "floppy drives" with serial numbers starting with D0, that my "zip" drive does not begin with.

I want to do this by myself, but with any of your comments, it can be clear, that I need to take the reader to a computer repair store. I hesitate just give it a go with other information for fear that something is very wrong with my computer.

I appreciate your help on behalf of quite novice. Thank you.

Can I find a friend with an XP system and attach the drive to him. You may need to install the drivers (which you would get from Iomega site). You can uninstall them later. Reattach the drive, copy your files into the XP box, burn the files to CD/DVD-R. Buy your friend a beer. :-)

Note: If you get the same problem on XP with all disks, then the drive has probably failed. Then you have to find someone who still has a USB Iomega Zip drive. Some technicians will always have them. I have one on my shelf - have not used in years, but I keep it just in case a customer is your problem.

  • Folio 100: warranty issues

    Hi all

I open this thread, to raise questions about the Folio 100 tablet. As many of you know, Folio 100 forum was closed, son have disappeared and guarantee was denied.

I was one of the unlucky ones, facing a broken screen because he had jumped out of the slot a little at the bottom. Something is largely reported on other forums. But... It seems that Toshiba has chosen to remove any forums, kill threads, etc.

My claim was denied, and I was ready to go to court. Toshiba is back with the statement still not accept my request for asylum, but out of the goodness of their heart solve my particular case. Coincidence wants that discovered media channel (I never use it for personal matters) I'm involved with Tweakers.net (http://tweakers.net/gallery/27535), the first site of technology in the Netherlands.

However, when they say that my application is not accepted, but they will be committed to fix out of politeness, they always say that I lied about my warranty claim. Who will simply not do. I am an entity integrity.

So, I would like to know: which of you see that the screen pops out a bit down? Beware, because it may break the screen when picking up, leading to Toshiba saying: abuse of the user.

The Toshiba forum moderators are welcome to remove this thread. As I said before Toshiba, the full story will appear in a blog on the website of the technology more large Netherlands. Delete this thread will certainly add a flavor.

All who have faced the stall of Toshiba and ignore policy are welcome to send me an e-mail on floppus on the respectable site tweakers.net.

    See you soon,.

Thank you very much for your message, I fully support this! I had the chance to send my folio for repair BEFORE the broken screen. Not only was it jumping out of the box, but I also had problems with sensitivity screen. Now it works again, but the screen still appears on the lower right - side guessing just a matter of time until he is and I will be faced with the same problem as you. I work in a research project, development of Tablet applications for academic use of a well-known German University, and who wonder about the hardware options - many teachers of the Germany - I say 'hands off Toshiba. " So it is that Toshiba - early adopters do not forget!

PS. Oh and shame on you for the deletion of the folio in this forum section. It's a disgraceful way to treat customers, but it's also ridiculous to think that you could wipe the existence of this ill-conceived tablet.

  • Satellite M50D-A-10Z cannot start, stuck on the Toshiba screen

    Hello

I tried to install windows 8.1 after computer instalation. After this restart I can not do anything computer stuck on the toshiba screen (8 h), when I tried to turn on and go to the bios by pressing TAB computer stucks on bios Version screen and wont move :(

    Can someone help me! PLS

To access the BIOS, you must press the F2 key immediately after pressing the power button.
Is this possible? You can access the BIOS?

The laptop seems to be sold without a preinstalled OS. How have you installed the Windows 8.1? Have you changed some settings in the BIOS?

  • Portege will extinguish after iTunesphotoprocessor.exe gets the CPU to 100% usage

    Hi all

I am having a problem with my Toshiba Portege and sync with my iPad2.

I'm syncing large amount of photos to my iPad, when synchronization progess is at the stage of optimization photos iTunes runs two processes iTunesphotoprocessor.exe and the CPU usage is 100%.

The Toshiba fan then runs at full speed until the immedialtey of the computer turns off.
It is not a normal shutdown of Windows 7 64-bit. It's an energetic power loss, while the Toshiba is on a/c.

I can reproduce the same with my iPhone 4.

I thought I should use a USB hub with an adapter separated instead, unfortunately, there is no difference.

It is not only synchronize photos that it occurs also when I sync movies and only iTunes.exe running at 100% CPU usage.
Which brings me to the conclusion that the iPad draws a lot of power of the Toshiba until the laptop is on its knees.

I use external drives (not USB powered) and can copy a lot of data without any problem.

Perhaps worth mentioning that I have improved the Toshiba two months ago for Windows 7 64 bit and installed all the 64-bit drivers found here on the forum with the upgrade of the BIOS.

    Any hint is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

In my opinion this has nothing to do with the power supply or the power adapter plugged.
The iTunesphotoprocessor.exe belongs to the iTunes software and in my opinion this software highlights the laptop CPU s that cause automatic shutdown!

This means that it is not a problem of laptop but the Apple software.
I m not sure if it s a compatibility issue with 64-bit Windows system, but he s certainly an iTunes problem

So, in my opinion, you need to reinstall this software to see if that would help
You can uninstall this software from the system and could clean the registry with CCleaner, it helps to clean the registry
After that and after new restarts, you can try to install a version compatible 64-bit iTunes maybe it helps

  • NB200 freezes the Toshiba start screen.

    Hello

I have a NB200 - 11L which has been sitting with an annoying problem for a while now.
When I turn on the laptop it freezes at the "Toshiba - leading innovation" the BIOS boot screen and goes no further.

I get the same problem with or without food
I tried replacing the HARD drive but still no problem.
With no DISC in the system, it attempts to boot from the network & also allows me to access the BIOS (currently version 1.20)

Anyone else had problems like this & successful to solve?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Chris

A few days ago, I saw the same problem on my Satellite A205 (American model) friends. After removing the HARD drive, I was able to enter the BIOS settings.

I ve value BIOS settings by default, the HARD drive has been replaced by a new and now everything works perfectly.

HARD drive was defective, and obviously the identification by BIOS HARD drive blocked throughout the system.

I recommend you get the new HARD drive and do the same thing.

  • I can't access all the settings BIOS with Satellite Pro M10

Hello, I have a little problem with my satellite pro m10.
When I press the button 'on', I see the toshiba logo. (normal)
I want to get into the bios, I push the button "esc". Now, I see the message "check system. Then press [F1]. So, I push the F1 button.
Now I can see "password ='"
I push the button directly enter, and I have access to the bios. But my problem is that I can only change the date/time, password and the hard drive password.
I can't access to other environments, such as boot priority, show, another.

In the beginning, I think it's the fault of password, but I try to change it and I have no results.

    Please help me.
    Kind regards

    Hello

What happens when you remove the BIOS password?
Have you tested it? If this is not the case, check it.

  • Tecra A8 downgraded XP and none of the Toshiba Utilities works

    Hi all

I just got a new Tecra A8 - it is downgraded to XP, and none of the Toshiba Utilities work (energy saving function keeys, keyboard shortcuts, etc.). When I try to reinstall - there is always an error message (missing dll or sth similar) - I tried to update the bios - couldn't - once again a missing file!

any ideas how to solve this problem? at least the fn keys (fn key works - I see a light come on when I press - not the functions well!)

    your help, I much appreciated!

    see you soon,

    Dimitris

    Hi Dimitris

May I ask you what Tecra A8?
I visited the Toshiba driver page and it seems that Toshiba provide XP drivers for two different units A8 PTA83Eand PTA82E.

You should be 100% sure that you are using the correct drivers!
In addition, Toshiba released the Installation Instructions of the document on the page and to my knowledge it s necessary and important to follow this line of installation guide. The proper installation order is necessary!

So take care and check again

  • Satellite Pro A120 (PSAC1E-03Y010EN) no access to the BIOS

    Hi all

I upgraded my OS from XP - Pro to Win7 Ultimate 2010 March, no problem everything works OK. Now that I need more space, I want to upgrade the hard disk of 40 GB to 320 GB.

I can not access the bios to change the boot system (boot from DVD, for example), I can access the initial screen of the 4 menu at the start of the laptop but any icon highlight (disks, CD/DVD/etc), the laptop starts just Win7. I tried to use F12, DELETE, F2, etc.; all of them get the Select where I want to go, but as I said earlier, when I select one, the laptop starts just in Win7 from the hard drive.

My manual tells me to use the Toshiba HWSETUP to access the boot system, but its does not work on Win7 (90% CD-ROM of the tools do not work on/with Win7).

I downloaded the new drivers Win7 for Bios and other different pieces, some have installed and others have not. More (including the BIOS updated) claim that I am running a not recognized OS so used to install! How the Win7 is an unrecognized OS?

    So my questions are;
    1. How can I access the BIOS to set the boot system to boot from the CD/DVD then the local disk?
    2. is there a fix for this problem? (Looking through the forum, this is not a rare.)
    3. can I never boot/BIOS systems working properly?

    See you soon
    Dave

    Hello

    > 1. How to access the BIOS to set the boot system to boot from the CD/DVD then the local drive?

Usually, you can access Bios by pressing f2/f12 at startup, but you've already tried... Try the following:

    * Key esc (BIOS Toshiba) method *.
Press and hold the ESCAPE key.
    Turn on the laptop.
Press the F1 key when prompted.
The first page of the BIOS Setup screen appears.
If you have a utility called Toshiba hardware configuration (site in a windows environment) where you can choose the cd/DVD-ROM boot priority boot option
