  The app works very well except that you can not have more than one remote gateway server.  I have two different infrastructures that I connect and they have different configurations of RDG.  You cannot change the advanced options when you create a new connection.  You can't modify it until you connect once.  I can not connect because the RDG are for another server.  Check connection options during the installation of the initial connection.

  OK, never mind.  I figured this out.  When you are on the home screen see you the bar charms and select settings.  From there, you can change the default RDG server machines new use.  Exactly what I needed.  Works fine now.

  Thank you Ken, yes indeed, and now I found: for some reason, the file manager has been set to see 'Files in the repository' instead of 'remote server '. I'm back in business.

  I'm shopping for a wireless webcam to provide periodic fixed images that are accessible via any web browser. I'm not interested in live streaming video, or what I must have remote users to directly access the camera.

  I currently own a Panasonic BL-C131A that performs the necessary function well. I set it up to send a simple jpeg image to a remote server every 60 seconds (assigning the same file name each time). My web site (http://www.creston-community.com/Public/Webcam.html) has a page that displays the uploaded image, i.e. the .jpg file, in the same interval. Of course, whenever the web page pulls the top of the file, it contains a more recent image this file contained on the previous cycle.

  I need a second camera, but Panasonic is expensive. I seems that maybe the WVC80N could be an alternative to a price much lower. However, I have reviewed the user for the WVC80N guide and the only mention of ftp of it lies in the section dealing with motion detection. Can someone tell me if the camera can do what I ask, independent of any movement detection settings? If Yes, can I specify jpeg as the file type, set a preferred file name that will be assigned to each image and set the frequency (interval) between ftp downloads?

  The WVC80n doesn't have the specific feature you are looking for, not exactly.

  However, it can achieve the desired result in a different way.

  The willing WVC80n of a CGI interface that your web server could pull left to draw the image, instead of the camera by pressing the image.

  In other words, you can set a timer for one minute on the web server to retrieve a single image of the WVC80n jpeg and save it like that.

  I set up the PPTP server and created a PPTP user as described in the manual of the admin of the RC180W router. I can connect to the router through the construction based on PPTP VPN in Windows 7 and on my Android phone. Then I can also ping the router and access the Web administration. But I can't access my network, nor their ping servers and other clients.

  If I connect to my router with VPN, I get the following information about Windows 7:

  • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.255
  • Default gateway:
  • Server IP: 192.168.0.201

  Once connected, I can ping the router and access the IP 192.168.0.1 Web administration

  I can't access or ping any other client or server, for example 192.168.0.96

  I noticed that you are in the same subnet in the subnet of the PPTP server. Connect PPTP clients should be in one different subnet other than 192.168.0.X. So an acceptable configuration of PPTP server could be the 192.168.1.x subnet, as long, is not on the 192.168.0.X subnet.  If this can help you and your problem, please indicate your answer for bugs

• CS6 Dw hangs when it is connected to a remote server

  Hi all

  First of all, thanks to all those who have contributed here I found a ton of useful info on these forums.

  I am facing a problem that has been around for awhile, but I'm afraid, I was unable to find a solution. Dreamweaver (CS6) is very slow/unresponsive in work as part of a 'Site' connected to a remote server. The weird part is that this happens only on my laptop, the feature works fine on my desktop PC which has almost identical characteristics except that my laptop is 100% SSD (you would think it would be more efficient). It hangs for a few seconds when you save a file, which IMO is acceptable, I understand that it is pushing it to the server. The real problem comes when I'm switching between open files, or open a new file. Two of these actions take about 10-15 seconds, during which Dreamweaver has a crisis and I get notification (no response) in the bar of the window.

  Dreamweaver is updated, I use no archiving/retrieval functionality. In the server settings, I have «automatically download to the server after...» "and"Maintain synchronization information"checked.  Ftp services work perfectly with my remote server, Notepad ++ also works very well.

  PC card in case it is important: (laptop is almost two years but decent hardware and short grand otherwise)

  NOTE: in addition, once the file is actually opened and loaded, DW works fine; no lag, no hanging. It is the Act of switching/opening files (file at the top of DW tabs) which takes forever. Economy/downloading files takes less than 5 seconds and during this time, you see the download dialog box and DW does NOT get the "(ne répond pas) ' as it does when switching/opening files."

  Any suggestions on fixing this?

  Dreamweaver is designed to operate on local files that you upload to the remote server when you are finished editing the. I don't have CS6 installed, but I think he allowed you to work on individual files without defining a site beforehand, and some people used it to edit files in situs, that is what it looks like you do.   Hi, I am trying to delete a file on my remote server (Business Catalyst), but I get an error message (log of the errors below).  I can delete the other files in the same folder.  In addition, the permissions are the same on the files I can delete and one that I can't.  I can not remove this file with FileZilla, either - get a similar error message.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  This is a template file and I really need to be able to delete or modify it.  Thank you.

  I have problems loading SWF to my remote server of Mr. There is no problem loading all my other SWF files just straight up. I get a message telling me that Dreamweaver is having a problem connecting to the remote server and it times out. I can load up the swf using cpanel. Does anyone have advice helping, what happens if something can be done to address the problem

  BUT in any case I'm not a friend of a detailed diagnosis. This is one of the reasons why I prefer an external FTP program. The difficulties with which we must fight encourage me in this opinion, especially because we are always looking for experts, we charge a 'jack of all trades '.

  I've been using mx2004 then passed to cs3 and errors of publication I upgraded to cs4 thinking that might be the problem.

  Only on 1 of the sites (including one with php and a site of big file that my provider has told me) I can't 'put' publish my site.

  My provider says that has nothing to do with their side.

  When I try and download the KB on the web range from 1 KB to 0kb and wipe the info.

  Each week, I use to update one of my sites.

  I added to the server a coral share Photo Album 2 weeks.

  That's when I could not been / publish my info up-to-date on my pages. But only on 1 site. The other with different site

  login/password allows me to change/to update the pages and put / post them.  It is the site of the coraldraw on.

  I took it off the coast of thinking maybe that was the issue...

  my ftp access is correct.

  Have you tried to use a distinct and 3rd party FTP client? If you can successfully connect and download to aid what he would suggest process FTP of Dreamweaver is messed up.   Hello... Today, on one of my clients sites my finger slipped and I hit accidentally F12... therefore, it won't save to the remote server by hitting save. It says Server error / remote ftp is not found. It - don't - connects to the remote server very well when you use the Connect button to test on the remote adjustment dialog box. Fortunately only this site is affected and they are gone in Michigan for a week. We speak of the version 8.0.2 on XP. What happened exactly? How can I reset it back to normal?

  Murray... it is resolved! Sorry to be a dunce. It seems that somehow I put it to a type of configuration... test server then I hit something else than I thought. I've disabled access to the test server and changed the point of view, and he now works as before.
