Accessibility from 32 to 64

In a current environment, where the OS Server and MS SQL Server is 64-bit.

If the workstation is 32-bit, I can install 64 ODBC connector? is it available?

Can connector 32-bit ODBC connects to the 64 bit MS SQL Server with no problems? It should be.

Another way to check the specific permissions for the site is to use the Page Info dialog box. While on a Google.com page, either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
    • ALT + t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > permissions

In the dialog box that opens, check the permissions to "Set Cookies" and "Maintain offline storage" and adjust as required. (Example screenshot attached.)

Looks like you will have to allow SSL VPN from the WAN traffic to the free zone (ZP-WAN-to-self), so you need to update the political map (PMAP-JM-WAN) in particular the ACL (ACL-VPN-PROTOCOL), must allow access to port 443 of any source IP address:

    permit tcp any eq 443

  • LDAP and APEX for access from home

I am new to LDAP and only familiar with concepts so bear with me. I would like to know if I can use LDAP with an APEX application so that employees can access the LAN/intranet working system as well from home (or anywhere on the internet). They have access to the intranet via the LAN by signing on the use of their Novell username and password. I'm assuming that they can connect to the House using the same Novell username and password. (BTW-I don't want to set up APEX user ID or database user ID for users of 1800-1900). This can be accomplished? If so, how?

I have a meeting with the vice-principal of the week next to discuss this project which it can manage access from the internet.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Robert,.

Yes, he is indifferent to the APEX where a user comes from. As I mentioned above, authentication is performed in the database by data that shows through the front. As long as the front-end server reaches the end back, your users can connect.
The onlyl restriction that can be there is the Novell (LDAP) server not accepting does not request to the database server. But if you have LDAP works on your APEX for a LAN/WAN access, he will work with the reverse proxy as well.

    Concerning

  • Cannot install bios access from win 8

HP Touchsmart tm2 laptop and although age has officially supported, was able to install Windows 8.0 but now cannot move to 8.1 Windows because I can't boot from the CD/DVD or USB flash drive.

The store Windows says that my 8.0 cannot be updated to 8.1 via the shop, so I want to do a fressh 8.1 installation and have purchased the software and the key.  But I can't get the laptoip to boot on the USB CD/DVD or a USB flash drive (or even a floppy disk)

Since the installation of 8.0, when the computer starts, a HP logo appears, but there is no option to enter the BIOS setup or to specify the boot sequence.   I have no reason to believe that I changed the boot sequence, so there should resemble any of these external devices first, but this is not (there's a brief access to the CD/DCD, but it goes to start with the hard drive).

It seems that Win 8.0 installation has done something in the BIOS.  Have tired etc. ESC, F2, F10, Del, F6 during the boot process, even if the messages do not appear.   Maybe I could reflash the BIOS?  Or is it an executable I could run wtining Win 8.0 to access the BIOS, otherwise I'm stuck.

    Anyone with a similar problem/solution?

    Thank you

Was able to get. Window very tight to get into the boot on this computer compared to other menu that I worked.  Configuration via USB seems continues normally.

I already installed Win 8.1 on a HP TouchSmart300 desktop model and found that the microphone does not (confirmed elsewhere in this forum).  Using a wirelss headset Plantroincs has proved a good solution.  Anticipating I could met the same problem on the laptop.  Now soon.

    Thanks again.

  • Unauthorized access from another computer

I found "Account unknown" as an additional user profile. I believe that my nephew has access to my computer from his computer. I was online and I started while he was on his computer. If I'm on my laptop and it is not on his computer, my laptop works very well. As soon as it connects to his computer, then my laptop runs slowly. According to me, he is accessing my computer somehow. I use Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3. I have the disabled guest user and I have a password to log on to my laptop. Do you know something about the conversion from FAT to NTFS disks? My laptop is not configured for networking and authorize remote assistance is disabled (not allowed). Is it possible that I can see if his computer access my laptop? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Looks almost like it's using Remote Desktop, but XP Home does not allow that.

Since you have XP Home Edition, file sharing Simple is applied and remote users can authenticate only as long as the user "guest".  You say you have 'Off' Guest user  How did you do that?  If you did it in the user control panel, which does not disable access to the network - only for interactive access.  To really disable the guest user and deny access to the network, you must open a command prompt window (start-> Run-> "cmd") and enter the command:
NET user guest / active: No.

Another approach would be to put a password on the guest user:
"Set up the password for the user in Windows XP"

You must also make sure that the user 'administrator' built-in gave a password as well, or it may log and undo what you've done.  Also check the "Administrators" group and ensure it doesn't have access to one of the accounts listed there.  List of the members of the Administrators group, open a window to prompt as above and enter the command:
    net localgroup administrators
which lists all of the users in the Administrators group.

To see who is connected to your computer, right click on 'My Computer'-> manage-> user Sessions

A "Account unknown" user profile means that a user who has used to have a profile has been removed from the machine.

    About FAT to NTFS:

  • Group residential access from other computers is read-only.

Two machines, home network, both running Win7 Pro 64.

Both machines have multiple accounts.  On the machine at the bottom are the accounts under the name of Tom, Dick and Harry.  (Not really, but they are good examples, yes?)  On the machine of the floor are the accounts under the name of Tom and Dick.

Tom is the main user on the machine at the bottom.  Dick is the main user on the machine on the floor. Tom & Dick should have permission to read/write to all files in the home group (two machines).  Harry, as an ordinary member of the residential group should only have read permission.

If I right click on the Tom's Documents folder on the machine of dDwnstairs, I see the following permissions:

Homegroup: read; Tom: Owner; Dick: Read/write

Yet, when Dick tries to access to the file of the machine on the floor, Dick read only privileges.  Specifically, if she tries to drag a file on homegroup--> Tom (BOTTOM)--> Documents folder, Dick Dick receives a "Destinatino folder Access Denied" dialog box that says: "You must be authorized to perform this action."  Dick can see and navigate to the folder without problem.

If Dick logs into his account on the box at the bottom, it can read/write files of Tom as expected.

Is there a way to associate the account in the box on the floor with the account on the box at the bottom, so that file permissions are identical regardless of the situation?

Correct, both accounts must be related. And I'm also unclear on the declaration of help text, maybe I'm missing something.

Regarding the setting up of a working group, you are right that the steps are VERY similar. The difference is when you're on a homegroup, the system uses the credentials of home group and not the credentials of the account from your system to connect to a share. So in theory, if you remove all systems in residential group and configure the network in the way that you said in your original post, you should be able to share normally with the permissions that you set up.

Just remember, when you're on a homegroup, the system uses a called hidden user accountHomegroup$. When it connects to a share on another computer, it is not identified asTom, it connects asresidential group $. This is obviously different from a working group that uses the credentials of the current user to connect (Tom).

  • Client VPN prevents internet access from other computers on the network

    Hello.

I run Client ver 4.6.03.0021 from an office on a network of 11 computers via a hub 16-port. Internet access is through an ICS gateway to the cable modem. Once I changed the modem cable to test a backup and then switched back to the original modem. After this, only computers that have the VPN Client (running or not) could access the internet. Computers that have no customer VPN can access only certain sites. Commonly viewed sites would say "site found. Waiting for answer", but the answer would never come and IE 6.1 cling. When I would try ping sites, it would fail. However, some sites such as Google.com would work.

On one of the computers, on a whim of head, I installed the VPN Client but have not set up a connection. Now, this computer will connect to any website I want.

Is there a fix easier to get access to other computers on the network without installing the VPN Client on each of them?

    Thank you

    H. Adams

    Hello

Looks like you are running in MTU problem. The reason I say it is, automatically reduces the MTU value to 1300 VPN client during the installation for the whole system. That is to say all the client computer installed VPN that have MTU from 1300.

Try to cut down the MTU of other systems that have no VPN client installed to 1300. If it's a Windows system, you can use Dr. TCP (free).

  • AnyConnect VPN access from inside

    Hello

I have an ASA 5540 + SSM-40 on which I have configured webvpn and is listening for connections on the external interface.

It is accessible from outside (internet) network and works just fine. The problem is, I want to access it from inside the network as well, but it does not work. I can't ping or connect somehow to the IP address of the external interface of the inside (so I guess that it is not strictly bound to the webvpn configuration).

I don't think it's an ACL problem because ACL filtering only that I do is on the OUTSIDE / inside (to the internet), the rest are defined to allow a.

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to be able to access the IP address of the external interface of the network behind the inside interface?

    Thank you

    Yes, you can

Under the webvpn configuration, just "allow inside" as well.

  • Pictures of window Photo Gallery access from another computer?

Is W.P.G. online service, in the sense that you can access the photos stored in any computer?

In other words, if a computer si un ordinateur soit be had a hard disk crash.  .  .  .  or he got robbed... is the owner can retrieve said photos also?

Q: is - W.P.G. an online service, in the sense that you can
to access the photos stored in any computer?

A: No.... Windows Photo Gallery is a program installed
    on your hard drive.

    SkyDrive is a service online:

A: no, the photos are saved in folders on your hard drive...

The Gallery is a viewer/editor that simply access your photos

A: of course, you can record / save your photos on any
    external media type.

    For example:

    Copy in the Flash Player:

In Windows Live Photo Gallery... right click a thumbnail
or a group selected (highlighted), miniatures, or
a folder and from the menu... choose "copy".

The flash player must be recognized at... Start / computer /.
Devices with removable storage... with a drive letter.

Right-click on the drive letter that represents your flash drive

  • Why not past my site responsive phone available when you access from a phone?

I started tinkering with the new reactive Web site tools and it's a promising little by little.

The site is 960 wide and I put two break points to 640 and 320. The reason is because the iPhone 4 and 5 are both 640 pixels wide and iPhone 3 is 320 so I turn to a significant market share. Also, this seemed promising as with break points, I must not play with content on 3 separate provisions as before (see how if I changed the text in a box on the presentation of the phone available to office would not change automatically). But when I access my site from an iPhone 5 (which I'm sure has a 640 pixel wide screen the site does not match and instead shows me the view from the office.)

I still play with 3 different configurations? Was not to the point with sensitive sites that he could adapt to the horizontal resolution of devices.

I also took a quick glance at this station and followed, but that did not help.

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/2105478?q=responsive%20phone

I'm sure there's something obvious I missed, but feel free to point out. I'm all for learning.

If you choose as available to your phone 320 and 640 as your tablet, you can see the view from your phone while holding your iphone vertical, but when you rotate the phone horizontally, your vision of the tablet will be posted as it becomes now 568 shouldn't be your desktop view if you selected 640 as your breakpoint of the tablet. Which, with a little modification should be ample space to highlight your vision of the tablet. A good way to see how your Web site will react is in the web browser safari develop mode. If you have not already opened it develop mode in safari

you will need to go in safari preferences and in the Advanced tab down, you will see a checkbox to see her develop module check this box. Now you will see DEVELOP as one of your option file click it and go to ENTER mode REACTIVE DESIGN. You can copy and paste your temporary url of the chrome or any browser your viewing of. It will give you a much better look at how things will look for all apple devices. To really answer your question, you need to make your version of phone much more if you want it to look the same width of 320 and 568. your breakpoint should be to 568 the largest two widths. But it is not necessary that your version of the tablet should always look on your iPhone horizontal 5s. I hope this helps.
