  I used a charger Apple in recent years.   Plugged in to the mains and batteries, the charger will immediately return orrange and will stay like that until the batteries are completely charged.   At this time there the little light turns green and the battery themselvesz will feel warm to the touch.   When they are charged fees to be held for a few weeks, is slowly diminishing.   As the batteries cool, the light turns off, but the batteries themselves will remain loaded.   Use a battery as a final control power indicator.

Now I'm on my 4th battery this year. The last three are replacements of ifixit. The initial problem was the battery only takes about 30 minutes without the charger. The first replacement lasted for about and hour off charger. The second lasted almost as long and started swelling after about two months. Now I am on now that lasts about two hours, but does not load, and according to the coconut is overheating battery to about 48 degrees. My normal bed battery status. I have to reset the SMC just for it to recharge. It means unscrewing the bottom plate and remove the battery every time I need to recharge my phone. My fans do work from time to time now.

  I don't know if it's the battery, the age of my macbook, or what. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  The battery swelled up, and looks like it has practically destroyed your computer. There is nothing you can do to solve this problem at home. Make a Genius Bar appointment with an Apple store retailer or contact a Service Center authorized Apple for their assessment. A subjective view can see if everything is recoverable.

  The last call, I spoke with a supervisor who is convinced that it is my ISP internet despite all the other computers on my home connection and see downloads 10 x higher than my macbook. (40 MB/s to my 3 Mbps), and the fact that I see bad connectivity no matter what network I'm on. Two things, I told the tech support supervisor. I have appointment of Engineering tomorrow where I'll be very interested to hear their ideas and their solutions.

  I have owned 5 5 iPhones, iPads 3, 3 iPods, Macbooks and countless accessories Apple and devices over the past decade. I'm sad to say but my next devices will not be Apple.
