Acer Aspire 951822 (battery problem)

I know that I am relatively new to the community, but keep in mind I'm not a novice exact technology. That being said, I know I have to not buy the best laptop, and I never bought one before hand. Here's the situation:

I read many forums tent help to solve the problem of load by simply disconnecting the battery. I found myself unable to do. Then I found out about the battery reset button, also does not solve the problem, it was totally useless. When the laptop is turned off and the charger is plugged in, the light with a light bulb behind it blinks orange twice and nothing happens until I turn it on, and then turns blue. When I goto the stop, and after he died, the battery LED flashes orange 1 second apart. The laptop is otherwise fine-other than the fact that I put the charger wherever I am to use it, so I can exclude the adapter being the issue... I think so.

Please help quickly - if it is irreparable, I need to come back soon.

Well Yes, that's all. If the battery is internal, but I would go a power reset just to make sure.

It will be a little tricky, but hit the hole pin battery reset with a paper clip or something similar. You should feel a fairly definitive recession when you press it. If you can, hold button power for 10 to 30 seconds and try again.

If this fails, I recommend you contact your local I can't think any other troubelshooting and I suspect that the battery does not have.

    Hi guys!

After the upgrade to the latest driver (14.12) for my gpu M265 R7, I find suddenly meeting me a problem quite stupid.

Try to close my laptop, to say that the action is not completely filled. Screen stops, but other lights and stuff while remaining powered USB.

In addition, after a period of sleep more for 2-3 minutes, I suppose, the laptop is unable to come back to life, just to his coma...

What is there to do? All reviews are much appreciated!

Was the most recent driver from the Acer site?

  • Power supply with Acer Aspire X 1200 problem

Hello world. I need help. I'm new to Acer Community Forum, but have a problem with my off-warranty X 1200 desktop model. It turns off and I am unable to start it. I changed outlets and also changed the power supply cord. Still nothing. The only thing I see on the Acer Support site is "check the tension on the system setting", but no explanation on how to do this. The system has a fuse that could be replaced? Someone had a similar problem? Any ideas as to what I can do to feed her top? Thank you.

    Ethel

Thanks for your comments. It turns out that I was able to 'test' the PSU using the method "trombone" (20-24 pin, placing the trombone open between the Green and of the sons of black earth) and confirmed that the most likely guilty was in fact the power supply. I bought a new one on eBay (about $53) and in 2 days it had in my hands. I followed an other UTube on how to replace the power SUPPLY and even if I there was, cleaned dust on the fan, etc., put everything together, and SUCCESS! Now everything works fine. I agree that it would have been probably not cost-effective to have Geek Squad troubleshoot and replace the power supply, but to do it myself, I would say that it was well worth! Considering that it was the first time that I NEVER opened a tour, I feel pretty good on the result. Thanks again for your response! Ethel

  • My acer aspire 6930G speaker problem!

I had my computer acer laptop for a couple of months now, and for about two weeks after I bought the product, when I listen to a song the speakers will make a sound of type noticibly loud crackling. I have a feeling that it's something to do with the low because it's much worse when I listen to a low song.

    Thanks, Ben

Could be material. Perform a restart and then check your startup programs. You have all the players loading
up, which could produce sound? You have to be on the internet or are there other related programs
that must be performed to reproduce the problem. Essentially the sound happens after you start and
just let the unit sit for 5 minutes or more?

Check in Control Panel to see if you have an Audio Manager by any name that has special settings.

And of course, you have the latest driver showing the correct version in Device - Sound Manager.

  • Acer aspire startup E1 problems

I've got a laptop which I had the pleasure of using for 2 years, but today when I tried to use my laptop it seems to freeze on the login screen windows 10.

When you connect an external mouse and a keyboard only the mouse seems to work. the keyboard appear to not work at all. I have some background with computers, being a student in computer SCIENCE so I tried to work with the software, but it seems to be pretty well closed. I don't want to install a different type of windows because of the possibility of losing the functions of the extra buttons.

is it possible that I can get my laptop to work again so that it seems to be a software problem.

I don't know how to copy and paste so helps to show my skill level.  Thank you

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following steps and check.

    a. turn off the laptop completely.

    b. remove the battery from the bottom.

    c. leave the battery of the laptop for 5-10 minutes.

    d. plug the adapter into the laptop (still remove the battery).

    e. turn on the system and let it fully boot in Windows.

    f. once it arrives on the desktop to launch all startup items. In other words, do not interrupt the boot process until everything is prepared.

g so go ahead and shut down the computer normally (using the START > turn off computer method).

    h. once the system is turned off, plug the battery back in and turn on the computer.

  • My Acer Aspire R14 does not start with the cord of the charger plugged in with the battery connected to

A few weeks ago, my laptop Acer Aspire R14 went totally blank. When I unplugged the power cord, it started right to the top, but at the moment where I plugged the power cord back inside would be closed. The battery dies quickly in this way, because it would not charge. I removed the battery then it started upward with the power cord. I thought it must be the battery, so I installed a new battery. which is not to change the problem.

So, I ordered a new motherboard and after a few weeks, I received it today, installed, and I have always the same thing. It works well with the power cord plugged in until the battery is disconnected. But at the time wherever I connect the battery, everything stops, not to be revived unless I disconnect the battery.

I need help! What could be the problem?

    Glad I could help.

  • Problem with e1-531 fan Acer Aspire

Hi, I have an acer aspire e1 - 531 for quite awhile now, but lately its been heating too much

I had cleaned it, but it does nothing

the fans to run so slow even if I have it on assets

Recently, when I was playing in the bios I discovered that fans work fine in there

Every time the laptop started to heat a little fans will lead to maximum power

Than never happenens in windows at all. The fans are on active on all modes of the battery, but still nothing

I tried fanspeed, but it does not recognize my fans

    What can I do?

Looks like you did a little test and troubleshooting and not much I would recommend. It may be a software problem, and if this is the case, I recommend to backup your data and try to do a factory restore to see if that solves the problem.

If the problem persists or you have already tried a factory restore, there may be a hardware problem and I recommend you to contact technical support in your region.

  • I have a DATE TIME / CMOS / BIOS with my Acer Aspire 5742Z problem

    Hello

    Newbie here...

I have a strange problem with my Acer Aspire 5742Z (UK), which I think may be the BIOS or CMOS area...

    MAIN PROBLEM

Guard reset BIOS default time (00: 00:00 on 01/01/2009)... OR... a time '' close '' to what it is supposed to be...

MAIN STEPS IN THE DEMONSTRATION OF THE ISSUE...  WHAT I'VE DONE

Removed the main battery and then replaced the CMOS battery twice (in the case of a failure)

    Main battery insert it again.

The clocks of the BIOS (using F2) countless times, but there's rarely / or is correct.

    STRANGENESS...

During startup in Windows 7, it almost always does not show the same date and time that I entered the BIOS.

For example, if I go home at 21:35 on August 28, 2014 using F2, when I boot on Windows, the date and time may say August 23, 2014 at 3:25 pm ish...

    POWER OFF

If I turn it off and turn off and then turn on, restart the time in BIOS is correct... to 21:43 29/08/2014 (that I have record for good measure).

If I continue, Windows reads now August 23 at 15:32

ADJUST the WINDOWS TIM E (UK)

So, then I change the time of Windows Date to Friday, August 29, 2014 21:48.

JUST FYI: the PARAMETERS of ZONE SCHEDULE are checked and no changes: (UTC), Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London

PANEL, LANGUAGE AND REGION, English in the United Kingdom, short time 21:48, short Date: 29/08/2014

    GEOGRAPHICAL area: United Kingdom

    now, everything seems correct.

TURN OFF AGAIN and wait a few minutes.

YOU turn it back ON, and then press F2 that (this time) shows the BIOS default date and time in 2009

If I continue in windows without changing the BIOS date and time dafault, Windows now displays as 23:02 31/12/2008

    :-(

    That's all.

I would really appreciate help fixing this problem that makes me nuts!

    Thanks in advance!

...   Just in case anyone reads this...

I just updated my BIOS for the next issue, and the problem has.

I guess that maybe the BIOS got corrupted!

I used the simple approach and no short layout has been involved.  I deliberately did not go for the latest BIOS just in case where he brought new questions and confused the situation.

  • Acer aspire 5740-6378 will no longer charge the battery under Windows 7

The title sums it up.  I have a new computer that beginning yesterday will not charge the battery.  I didn't have problems with battery or power systems before that.

    * original title - (sector, do not load) with 21% of battery. It has been so for 24 hours after several reboots. It is a 2 month old acer aspire 5740-6378. Is there a way to reset the power control software? So far, he has played very well.*

Managed to find a solution that worked for me.   I write this to help those who like me have sought a forum where this problem has been fixed.  I sent to acer tech support and they finally gave me this procedure:

Could you please go through the following steps to perform a power drain: 1. unplug the adapter from the laptop. 2. remove the battery. 3. press in and hold the button for about 30 seconds, then release. (You won't see anything happen) 4. connect the power adapter to the laptop. Make sure that the power adapter is plugged in. 5. Start the computer as usual. 6. After Windows starts, insert the battery. I hope this helps someone! Mike

  • When I pick up my Windows 7 Acer Aspire power, the computer turns off when the battery shows fully charged

I HAVE A CHILD OF 1 YEAR ACER ASPIRE WITH WINDOWS 7, WHICH IS CONNECTED TO BE WIRELESS. BUT WHEN I GET MY COMPUTER TURNS OFF THE POWER SUPPLY CORD. THE BATTERY SAYS FULLY CHARGED. IT WORKED AND NOW IT WONT. SOMEONE CAN ME SAY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I EVEN WENT BACK THROUGH HIM WITH DEFAULT AND IT DID NOT HELP.

    Hello

Are you aware of any changes made to the computer, before the show?

I suggest to change the power management and check for the issue.

Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)
