Acer Aspire v5 573g compatible hardware

I've had this laptop in 2014 and he gave me hell at first, then it worked, then during the transition to the w10, he gave more hell. Fast forward to 2016, I your desktop appropriate because frankly I couldn't count on the laptop more curiously it is performed without a hitch for a while now.

Anyway, I opened it and turned on the HDD (1 TB WD slim) for one SSD, and I thought of switching on the stick of ram to 4 GB for a 8 GB one and maybe the Ondaaah (AR5BWB222) for an Intel (Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 HMC Rev.2) one.

My question is this, can I replace the RAM for any PC12800/1600 MHz SO-DIMM DDR3L CL11 1, 35v stick? or should it be acer approved those? (which seem to be significantly more expensive).

Is there a list of hardware compatible with the laptop? I want to give it a new life, if possible. Anyway, thanks in advance!

Hi calbruc,

Aspire V5 - 573G has only a single memory and 4 GB soldered on the motherboard. Speccy shows probably these 4 GB as a free slot. You should check with CPU-Z version zipped (without installation). It will give you the right result: 8 + 4 and no free slot.

  • Update graphics card on Acer Aspire V5 - 573G

Anyone with experience with upgrading the graphics hardware on the Aspire V5 - 573G? It is even possible to do?

    Thanks in advance.

Update the graphics card in a laptop computer, you * must * have a portable 'MXM '. 'MXM' port resembles a port PCI-E inside a laptop computer.

They were somewhat popular about 5 years ago, and models like the Acer 5739 G had MXM graphics cards.

However, it is difficult to build a laptop that is scalable and ultra-thin. Today laptops use to be thin, and MXM is not popular.

From what I see, no V5 - 573 G model has never included MXM. No MXM not = no setting a level, sorry!

DanskeN, if you think that graphics performance are not what you expected, it could be that the application is using your integrated graphics Intel instead of the dedicated Nvidia chip. Set up the "Nvidia Control Panel" and click on "Manage 3D settings" and you should see a tab "program settings". Here you can play with or not your programs use your Nvidia card. It should above all be auto - personally, I only had a problem with a game, XCOM, using the built-in default graphics card!

For those seeking other to upgrade their graphics in their laptop, try to do a search on the Internet for "[laptop brand / model] MXM ' to see if you have a portable extensible MXM.

  • Acer Aspire V5 - 573G mSATA-port

Thinking about buying the new model of the Acer V5, V5 - 573 G-54218G1Takk and I would like to know if it has a free port mSATA as last year's model?

In fact, managed to find someone on the forum who has the same model and it confirmed before my purchase. And now I can confirm myself that new models Aspire V5 - 573G with i5-i7/4210U-4510U and Nvidia GTX850M has indeed a mSATA location. My model did not have an mSATA SSD pre-installed, and the port still works.

  • Acer Aspire M3641-X223W - complete hardware specification

    Hi all

I bought the Acer Aspire M3641 X223W about 6 years (?) back. Now I want to use it for my homeserver (maybe upgrade some things). But I need the full in the specs of the depth of the material. I know general specifications (4 GB RAM, 640HDD, RADEON 3450, Intel Core 2 Duo E5200), but especially the depth in the mother card, I couldn't find. For example the manufacturer (if is not Acer), type / etc.

Is there an overview containing all the technical characteristics? I couldn't find it as simple online or on the Acer Web site.

    Thank you!

Not sure if your computer is the link below.

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Acer/Aspire-M3641

It's probably an Acer motherboard, but I don't really know if Acer has their own factory or if they outsource to someone like foxconn, etc...

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16813186140

Note: My links are just assumptions/examples and may not even be guess exact remote.

Edit: even though this card mother foxconn is similar to your motherboard, Acer probably has it custom... so not all ports/headers would be accurate.

  • Acer Aspire ONE 10 S1002 - hardware Wifi disappears

My wife got a new Tablet S1002 for Christmas (Win10 preloaded); She has used for several days without any problem, but the wifi has suddenly stopped working.  She has not installed the updates, and it does not appear as a problem of pilot the network card WLAN is simply absent entirely from the Device Manager and seems to not even be recognized as existing.  I sat in line for 2 hours with the support of Acer tries everything that we could think (drivers, firmware, even a full factory reset) but later dropped and said support it took to repair so I went there and got a new.

2 days later and the same thing happened to it.  None of them have been abandoned or humid or subject to any abuse-wifi just stopped working for no apparent reason.  I suspect that it is a hardware failure, but I'm surprised not to find any other mention online.  Fact I just out of luck with two defective units, I should return it for #3 or is there more to it?  Regardless, it's frustrating!

I also met the same problem twice in my Acer s1002.

I tried to restore and reset the Tablet, but nothing has worked.

As it is a hardware problem so it can only be corrected with them reset.

That's why, as a solution despite the closing or restarting windows, I hold down the power button until the Tablet turned off, then restarted the Tablet again.

This has worked for me twice as long.

Hope that next time if the same problem has occurred, it could be useful.

  • Acer Aspire V5 - 573G not turn on or charge

    Hello

An hour before, my computer randomly shuts off while I was using it. At that time, it was connected to the power adapter and I had just plugged in a USB hub which was also a source of external power.

When it stopped, I noticed that power and charge indicators were both off, despite the power adapter being turned. Furthermore, I was not able to boot up the laptop, despite the battery to 100%. I tried to unplug the AC adapter and wait for a while for any stray charge dissipates and also held the button for 30 seconds while the power has been disconnected. I even tried a spare unsuccessfully adapter and found that my card was able to load a different Acer laptop.

I tried to look for a "Reset" button on the body of the laptop, because this model has a non-removable battery. However, I couldn't find one.

If the laptop has a removable battery, I would have been able to fix it now. However, I don't want to remove the back plate from my laptop and risk losing my warranty.

It would be much appreciated if someone knew how to solve this problem without touching the battery, through the reset button or an alternative mechanism.

Nevermind, I found the reset button. It's in the middle of the rear plate, for someone who has the same problem.

  • Problems with Acer Aspire V5 - 573 G UEFI?

    Hello

I have Acer Aspire V5 - 573G. Before all the problems start I used Legacy BIOS mode with 10 Windows Pro 64 bit OS. Have the latest BIOS v2.30.

So, recently, I decide to move from the Legacy BIOS UEFI and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with UEFI mode activated with the GPT partition style. Everything went well with the installation.

Now I am facing following issues with UEFI and Windows 10 witch, which I didn't in Legacy BIOS mode:

    1. When the laptop goes to sleep and is not touched for a while, I can't wake up to laptop. Press any key on the keyboard or touch the touchpad don't wake it either. Only way is to press the Power button to stop completely and then turn it back on. I don't know if it's something to do with the Windows settings to resolve this problem.
    2. Restart Windows sometimes stop laptop computer. It's really strange... Windows shows it restarts, screen goes black and does not start, instead it laptop shutdown. ??
    3. And when I shut down the system, it is not entirely clear. Often the blue light continues to blink, CPU and GPU fans are always and still closing system entirely to press on the button / stop.

These issues are somehow related to UEFI, because I had no such problems with the traditional mode and Windows 10. This is starting to annoy me when the laptop stops completely.

    Any help on this?

    Thank you!

We recommend to check first if the button on your Acer Aspire V5 - 573G or wireless switch is turned on (if you haven't checked it out already) so that the aircraft is allowed to connect to wireless networks. Usually, Acer laptops and netbooks, wireless or key switch is placed in one of the following ways:
    1. a dedicated button located above the keyboard.
    2. a toggle switch, located on the front or the side of the unit.
    3. the FN and the key with the icon wireless on your keyboard. Usually, the combination of keys "Fn + F3" (without the quotation marks) is used.

The key can be identified by looking for a wireless connection icon. For more information, you can consult the support page on Acer at the following address:
    http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/1304

If you are still not able to identify the Wi - Fi or key switch, you may need to consult the user manual of your device for details. In this case, your wireless connection switch is already selected, but you are still not able to connect to the wireless network, you can consult the following Acer support page for some options more troubleshooting:

I just installed a 2 GB DDR3 PC10600 - 1333 mhz memory, a SSD (Kingston V300 120 GB SATA III, working speed SATA II system) and Windows 10. Even with no UEFI support, basic 15 sec task machine boots are really fast. Video or live streaming, there could be some lag but is a normal cause its low vintegrated GMA video.

But some improve I can try now. I installed version of Windows is 64-bit. We know that 64 bit systems need at least 4 GB to run fluenty. So I'll install male and 32-bit W10 system more stable but that the CPU bottleneck.
