Acer support

Whenever I try to access the support page, it says still no service. I want to check the drivers and can not get anywhere.

It works very well.

    It is by email, I sent Acer UK support 6 days ago. No Czech or Slovak support, because I thought UK would have more info.

    Completely off the subject's response. It doesn't even have anything to with also the support, which has been the subject of my email. And so, the phone was bought in Slovakia, but the same electro retail chain are located in Czech Republic.

    It's like Acer doesn't care even their customers. And these answers looks autobot messages.

  • Aspire 5745PG - driver NVIDIA on the acer support site does not install

    I recently did a new install of Windows 7 x 64 on my 5745PG.  I installed most of the drivers from the website of acer, except the NVIDIA display driver support:

    NVIDIADriver VGA8.17.12.6619

    This driver won't install - instead, he complains that no compatible hardware was found.  Indeed, examines the installation files indicates that the material what the ID of my NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M (PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_0A29 & SUBSYS_04651025) appears anywhere in the nvac.inf, so there is no way it will install.  (I've already installed the Intel HD graphics drivers, which I'm sure is a sine qua non).

    There is another driver labeled NVIDIA, but for some reason when I install it the only thing it installs is "NVIDIA High Definition Audio", nothing to do with the graphics card.

    Go into the bios and change your dedicated graphic mode / discreet, save the settings and then install the driver. I further advise that you download the latest driver from Nvidia site itself, 314.07 version: http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-314.07-whql-driver.html

    As a proud owner of a V3 ACER - 571G, I am very disappointed with the support page for this model.

    I reformatted the laptop with my own copy of Windows 8 and now the NVIDIA GT 730 M drivers in your support page can be installed. The continuous NVIDIA Installer give the message:

    X NVIDIA Setup cannot continue

    This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

    I tried to download the two drivers for NVIDIA display of your upgrade of Windows 8 and Windows 8 sections and they not WORK!

    Can you please update and replace the display NVIDIA ASAP?

    Dear ACER,

    I found the solution to my conundrum. The drivers pages of upgrade of Windows 8, Windows 8 and are confirmed will not work with Windows 8.

    I found the drivers for Windows 7 64 - bit NVIDIA WORK!, namely: VGA VGA, NVIDIA, DRIVER, 8.17.12.9632, Mo 330,0 dated 25/01/2013.

     

    Who would have thought to try the Windows 7 driver for a driver to Windows 8?

  • How can I solve the nightmare that is Acer - Support answer not wisely to my problems

    By starting the computer from the new together ongoing upward, we went through 5 minutes QA process, after what he had sat for 10 minutes with a "Please wait, put in place to screen". It came then with a screen of registry who abandoned on the grounds that it could not connect to the internet. As one of the steps he says we would do but has no connect on the internet, the computer is not configured to use the router. Duh!

    I then connected to the internet and the computer froze because the malware has taken over. The screen was covered pop-ups and internet has been clogged. I went through uninstall all programs running as fast as I could, nevertheless there are several product downloads and other things. Some malware guard re - install itself. Some of the things installed appear to have bypassed Windows installation. Some of them seem to have damaged Windows installation. Some of the malware is also Spyware who informed me he will send data from my computer to a third party.

    I am unable to stop, it displays advertisements and pop-up windows that interfere with my activities.

    It seems that the laptop is preloaded with this stuff you will pay to remove acer.

    I get the Acer and buy a new Novatech. They guarantee there will be a clean version of windows on it with no crapware on it.

    2 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

    I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your Acer Aspire 2920 Crystal Eye and check if it helps to get the webcam working.

    Step 1:

    To uninstall the drivers of Webcam and software programs and features, follow the steps below:

    a. Click Start.

    b. in the start search box, type programs and features.

    (c) in the list, click on programs and features.

    d. check the webcam software and uninstall it.

    e. restart the computer.

    Step 2:

    Uninstall the device from Device Manager:

    a. Click Start.

    b. Select Control Panel > system > hardware > Device Manager.

    c. open Device Manager and expand the imaging device.

    d. right-click on the webcam device installed and uninstall the device.

    During the uninstallation of the device, make sure that you place a tick against 'delete the driver for this device '.

    e. restart the computer and install the latest version of the drivers of webcam and check if it works very well.

    Device: Not supplied with computer Emachine Acer keyboard model no ET1862-AT899.  When I hit SHIFT + AMPERSAND quotes will appear.  When I hit SHIFT + COMMA INTERTED thenampersand appears.  It is the ampersand and quotation marks are justaposed while only the tiny (2 and apostrophe) are not.  The keyboard is defective?  If not, how to fix?

    Is this a new problem or was heppening since you have the keyboard? From what you describe, my first thought is that it's a faulty keyboard. You can check with the Acer support page, because they might have a solution to this problem.

    I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.
