  You have installed the Catalyst 9.7 driver. Don't know that this driver doesn't have protection against overheating and could destroy your graphics card?
  I would recommend so install the latest driver of display on the Toshiba site. These drivers are pre-tested on your laptop.

  I use Windows 7 and I have the same problem. When I went to 3.6.4, Firefox would be to lock up whenever I tried to play any flash video. I can do my gif and finally, to sharpen and play with the color of the image, I have to select all images and convert it to a smart object to make it faster and easier on me. With the 2014 version, it worked amazingly, I managed to make GIFs. But after the update, this does not work so well now. Everything starts fine, everything is fine, until I have to convert my frames to a smart object. I select them all, right click, press on convert to smart object... and it instantly freezes and says that it hangs and stops. Now, I've seen people have problems when starting up, but I have not seen a question quite like this. I didn't think that solutions for commissioning crashing would help me because it starts and goes well until there. I tried three times last night with the same problem. When I today, there was another update. I've updated, in the hope, it would fix this glitch or anything like that, and it didn't. If someone had this problem and found a solution? • Crash with the image with the evil tiff tag type

  I have a small application that uses the XMP sdk to read metadata. We had a problem with break which proved because of a tiff tag bad value entry type IFD that was out of the acceptable range of 1-12 (actually a jpg image). This led to intermittent crashing to the TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag because kTIFF_TypeSizes method [thisTag-> type] would find a random value of memory outside the enum. If it was zero, a division by zero would occur when the info-> count is calculated. If this does not work, then an assertion would catch it (in debug mode) in the ImportTIFF_CheckStandardMapping method in ReconcileTIFF.cpp.

  I just added a label control in TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag that seems to work OK. I was wondering if this is the best solution, or if a change should be made in the sdk. I don't know that this type of bad image is not common. I can make the image available if it would help.

  Our next SDK release will have a range check added to TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag to make it more robust for these bad files.

• Crash when inserting image

  RoboHelp HTML x5.02

  When I insert a picture into a topic, Robohelp crashes before the preview is available.  That's all there is to it.  I tried a 1/2 dozen times, my only guess is that it is a limitation of file size, but I put a few pictures big enough forward.  The image is of 823 k jpg.  I inserted a few other jpg and GIF files and everything seems to work.

  Any thoughts?

  I saw red square when I saved an image on top of an existing image with the same name. Usually a second attempt, or at worst, the closing and reopening of HR has set.

  You say HR crashes. Literally? The program closes without saving?

  Given another image works OK I'm suspect that something is wrong with the image you want to insert. You can find it? You can reduce its resolution? This should still be good enough for assistance.

  Maybe it would help, I had a question unrelated to the preview (do not open PDF files), for which I found a cure. I downloaded "Preview Reset" Ohanaware software.
