ACR 9.6.1 goal profile number

Updates installed recently, through the application of CC (OSX 10.9.5) desktop and when I navigate via the bridge to import pictures shot last night, bridge reports correctly what body and lens that I used.

Bridge.jpg

but ACR has grayed/ghosts lens profile information on.

ACR-961.jpg
I suspect the recent updates, of course. I just checked that PS, bridge and ACR are all the more current versions.

I don't remember meet this difficulty since coming to DC a few years ago. Any ideas would be welcome.

I see. This phenomenon occurs for all of your images or only select images from a camera in particular?

Whatever it is, please try the following.

1. exit the bridge

2. move the following file on the desktop

/Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe camera Raw 9.0 prefs.

3. restart Bridge

4. open a raw file and try to activate the lens corrections

If this does not solve it, please download a sample image that has this issue so I can use it for investigation. You can use Dropbox or something similar and post a link here.

Kind regards

-Chris

  • Goal profiles does not not in Lightroom 5.4?

I've got OSX 10.9.2, Lightroom 5.4, last Camera raw, everything is up-to-date.

When I "Allow for correction of profile" for an image taken with a Sony a7r and 55 mm Sony FE lens, it should automatically recover this profile:

    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Sony/SONY (Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA) - RAW.lcp

Well, this isn't.  Lens Sony optical available in Panel of Correction in Lightroom is "Sony DT 18-200mm."  But there are several dozen profiles Sony lens in the directory 'Sony '.

And more confusing, the camera 'Make' menu lists 8 manufacturers (Apple, Canon, DJI, GoPro, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, Tamron) but leaves aside a number others - Fujifilm, Leica, Hasselblad, Mamiya, etc.

And as for Sony, only one goal Tamron is listed.

I tried to reinstall fresh Lightroom and not luck.

Photoshop works very well and has all the profiles of the lens.

Anyone else noticing this?  You have a difficulty?

    Upset in Cambridge,

    Mike

RAW or Jpeg? I'm guessing not raw. Most of the profiles of lenses are for Raw files only... and I can see this profile when I select a Raw file, but not if I select a rendered file.

  • 3.6 Lightroom / ACR 6.6 camera missing profiles

    Greetings.

I have read through so many discussions about this and still can not make camera profiles appear in 3.6 LR or ACR 6.6.

I'm shooting RAW with a Nikon D7000.  The only camera profiles available are Adobe Standard, camera Standard, neutral, etc.  LR/AC recognizes the file RAW has been produced by the D7000 or at least that is what shows like make & model in the metadata.

    I checked the path

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\NikonD7000

and 5 STC files are present.

I confirmed THAT LR/ACR is reading this way out the software and editing temporarily

    ... \CameraProfiles\...

    TO

    .. \FUBARCameraProfiles\...

and when I run then LR/ACR, I get a message that the camera profiles are missing.

I use Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, logged on as administrator in order to eliminate any security problem, and I installed LR/ACR as the admin as well.

Lens profiles to work very well.  On all my files RAW, the lens is correctly identified, and I can choose it in the drop-down list for the correction of the goal.

If anyone has any ideas on what else to try, I would be grateful.

    Happy New Year, all!

That's all you should see if you haven't installed custom profile.

  • ACR ignoring SensorFormatFactor in the profile of lenses

There, I did a profile of raw lentils for my compact camera SX110, by editing a file manually with a text editor. It worked well until the days sevral, when the vignetting and distortion correction was suddenly increased by a factor of about 10 x for the photos from the last trip

It turned out that a reason for this was different values of the focal plane to exif tags and resolution x of y focal plane in dng files, caused by a different jpg resolution selected in the camera. Checking the DNG with exiftool me showed that exiftool use these tags for the calculation of the value of crops (because the tags as plan focal x size and focal plane are absent in these dng files). It seems to be the same with ACR. If I delete these tags, two things happen:

-exiftool not showing the crop factor (which is wrong in all cases)

-Profile ACR do not correct for that dng, with no message that something is wrong with the dng profile or lens, distortion and vignetting

Thus, it seems that ACR does not actually know SensorFormatFactor, specified in the profile. Instead, it is using tags in the raw file - if they exist... that makes no sense to me...

I understand that I can't wait for ACR to work perfectly with camera not supported... However I do not understand why ACR ignores the profile tags

Any comment on this team of Adobe?

    Hi lives,

To apply the model of physical lens profile to an image, ACR needs to know the physical pixel of the image size. In most cases, ACR did that by searching for available EXIF metadata (prefer FocalPlane * resolution tag, but also uses combo of FocalLength and FocalLengthIn35mm if necessary). For some cameras, ACR has a lookup table internal to treat cases of poorly known metadata (for example, I saw some compact models with metadata values false, as they have 12 micron pixels, which is... not right). But for the most part, the calculation of the size in pixels is made from metadata.

The LTS in the profile data refer to data sources (e.g., the size of the image represented by the goal circle), rather than the destination image to which the profile is applied.  It is because for interchangeable lens (e.g., SLR) systems, the goal can be 35 mm while the destination image may be more small format (e.g., APS - C).

In your case, where metadata describing the size in pixels of the destination image is not available, ACR/LR should be bent using the MFS as indicated in the profile.  In other words, ACR/LR assumes that the size of the circle described physical image exactly in the target profile matches that of the target image.  But it seems that this is not happening in your case, and I don't know why.  If you can provide me with a sample image and profile, I can study (you have my email address, I think).

  • Goal profiles went after the last update of Lightroom CC 2015.5

After the last update of Lightroom CC 2015, almost all lenses profiles have disappeared. Very limited and none of my friends are listed. Most of my friends is common.

dwveale is correct. The last update has watered to Lightroom read and display the data for the goal. I use a set of Nikon lenses bodies which are all in the previous database and all extremely common/modern lenses.

Now what happens when I import a picture (no matter the format JPG or NAVE), the following events occur:

    (1) the field of the lens does not appear on the library module.

    (2) model lens does not appear using the overlay of information

    (3) the lenses in the right metadata search profile search says "unknown lens.

In addition, you can apply corrections to profile of lenses to RAW and JPG files. If you did the distortion control behind closed doors to a JPG file, the correction of the profile basically does nothing. However, if you do not have it will make corrections of distortion.

This paralyzes my library, in particular the ability to display the objective model and search by type of goal. Anyone know a fix or do we go back a version?

  • 5DS (r) tone curve in LR and ACR: crushed shadows with all profiles

    Hello

When Adobe released LR CC with what seemed at the time as a preliminary treatment of 5DS (r) Canon files, I noticed that the tone curve with all profiles (Adobe standard or brand profiles) seems to produce shadows much darker than all the other Canon cameras. It's something that dpreview noticed too:

"In addition, comparisons are slightly complicated by the aggressive tone curve that ACR applies to files R 5DS crushing its blacks, and potentially reduce visible noise levels by making them darker. We anticipate a later version of ACR to solve this problem, how reprocess us and return on these results.

    Canon EOS 5 d / 5 d R First Impressions Review: Digital Photography Review

With the release of 2015.1 LR, I expected at this behavior needs to be corrected, but this is not the case. Is this something that is inherent in the 5DS (r) files? Adobe plan to fix this?

    Thank you

For your convenience, I made versions of 'Contrast medium' profiles if you want a low contrast default starting point.

    For the 5 d: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/35081204/Canon%20EOS%205DS%20Medium%20Contrast.dcp

    For the 5 d r: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/35081204/Canon%20EOS%205DS%20R%20Medium%20Contrast.dcp

To install on Mac, download and copy them here: Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles /

To install on Windows, download and copy them here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

Then again run Camera Raw / Lightroom and you will see the name 'Contrast medium' appears as an option in the dropdown menu profile (in the camera Calibration Panel), as an alternative to other profiles.

  • LR 3.2 goal profiles are removed during uninstallation of PSE9

I uninstalled the trial version of Photoshop Elements 9 on my computer (Win Vista Ultimate 64 bit, 8 GB ram; tons of available disk space). When I used Lr 3.2 later that day, I noticed that most of the lens profiles Lr had installed are now missing. All is not lost; I re-instaled Lr 3.2 and profiles are back. Just thought I'd let people in case you have noticed this on your system.

    Michael

This is a known limitation and unhappy about how works our goal current profile installation/uninstallation. The workaround is to reinstall LR 3.2.

So we have a very small environment composed of 5 pools and 2 pools are dedicated with persistent discs. One of these pools as two workstations assigned (linked clone). • vCenter 5.5 u1 - host profile number - IPv4 routes did not

No matter what I do, I can't understand why some hosts have this problem and others don't.

I saw this question in 5.1, and saw that it is fixed in this version, however, I got 5.5 and can't get rid of him.

I've demolished networks and rebuilt them, and it comes back every time.

Anyone has any idea how this happens in a vCenter 5.5?

Okay, so here's why it (and does) happen.

I typoed IP addresses in the 3rd byte on a couple of my vKernel interfaces.

    Check yours - they must have typo in them... right?  (seriously, go get...  C A R E F U L L Y)

    ================================================================================

I have two interfaces to separate iSCSI vKernel, each limit to two separate vSwitches and each vSwitch with NIC physical 1

(I do it for multiple paths (I use alternating with a value of e/s to 1 request per channel before changing to improve speed))

In any case, I have also several vSAN vKernel cards as well for the same reason.

ALL of these cards have separate subnets.

I got the 3rd byte of wrong when I typed the IP address on a host computer in two separate groups.

A single IP address is an iSCSI interface

The other was a vSAN interface.

It's why hosts compliance would flip to a host in accordance and others out or all others IN compliance and this one to be out.

This same type of error in two separate groups on two types of interfaces vKernel it crazy almost IMPOSSIBLE to spot.

All flipping him made it difficult to diagnose, because it all seemed related.

Once I corrected the problems and updated my profile of the reference host (Yes, you need to do), then all this past compliance.

It doesn't seem to be a way to change this date of signature in my Palm profile on the web, and make a backup of the pre itself also not update this information. How can I fix this?

  • New camera profile is not "appearance" in ACR, but it does in Lightroom

I recently created a profile of the camera to a Nikon D200, using a graphic picture of X-Rite Colorchecker and the chart feature in the DNG Editor.  I exported the camera profile.  When I go into the Calibration tab in ACR 5.5, the new profile does not appear in the drop-down menu with the other profiles of the camera.  However, when I go in the development of Lightroom 2.5 module, the new profile appears in the menu dropdown there.

I am running Windows 7.  Browse my root drive I find that if I look in the directory Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles (referenced in the book of Fraser and Schewe CS4 Camera Raw as a location for profiles Vista) I can't find camera profiles, and when I place the new profile here it does not always appear in ACR.  When I look in the directory ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Nikon D200 I see the regular profile set of camera for the camera, as well as that I created, but as I said earlier, the newly created profile does not appear in the list of ACR.

A side note: I did a few tests with the camera profile names.  I added "XX" at the end of the name of profile Nikon Vivid (not post), and then this profile no longer appears in the list of profiles ACR.  I removed the extra letters and then the profile reappears in the list of profiles ACR.  Seemed strange behavior for me.  I also noticed that the profile that I created with the DNG Editor is significantly smaller that the others are provided by Adobe (28K against 110 k).

Hope someone has a suggestion for me.

Not sure why the profile does not appear in the two ACR and Lightroom when correctly in user-level file... should be. Also note that the reason the folder user level and not the ProgramData folder is only the admin level users can write to the ProgramData folder. Level user folder is the folder proposed because most any level the user can write to the user folder.

Regarding the relative size, DNG Profile Editor and created Adobe DNG - EP written profiles simplified while vender Adobe profiles are highly tuned and adjusted. I suspect that this makes them more...

Just a note, you exit and then restart the two _and_ Photoshop bridge after writing the DNG profiles for your level user, correct folder? I ask because some people have the bridge works without realizing it is running. Sure that the connection of ACR requires both apps either quits and restarted (you should not restart the computer if).

  • Removal of Photoshop Elements 9 caused missing lenses in Lightroom 3.3 profiles

After the expiration of my essay on Photoshop Elements 9 I removed it from my Windows Vista system.  Next time I started to Lightroom 3.3, I tried to apply a profile of Canon lenses in a few new images as well as the profile was missing, not only it was not on the list, none 862 images taken with this lens had the profile that are applied more.  I tried to repair the installation, and he could not say that I was missing components.  Then I tried to upgrade to 3.4 RC & it failed with the same message.  Finally, I thought it might have been caused by the deletion of items in Photoshop so I went to restore it was the case before the withdrawal point.  Now I have the profile of the rear lens which doesn't have the profile of Canon EF28 - 135mm as well for other 862 images.  My question is should there be something else I should look to see if it is missing or damaged?  Thanks - Larry

    Larry,

The common part between LR and PES is part of Camera Raw (ACR). Its parameters are contained in 2 different locations:

    (1) the general configuration cab files:

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw

This directory contains profiles of lens and camera installed with LR

    (2) user associated configuration files:

    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw

    This directory contains generally:

    • Downloaded/created goal profiles
    • ACR default (such as the size of the cache ACR, the default values defined in LR)
    • Camera downloaded/created profiles

You can view the contents of these 2 sites. Another alternative would be to uninstall and reinstall LR, which should take care of the factory provided profiles.
