  check your directory program files adobe > first pro cs6 > first pro.exe file.

  (restart the cc app will probably also work.)

  Perform the following troubleshooting methods.

  Method: 1

  Configure the computer to start in minimum mode and then try to install the updates manually at boot.

• Creative cloud Updater does not open

  I just bought a new laptop HP running win 8.1 64bits. After installing CS4 & Acrobat 9, I can't the Adobe Update Manager to work. I tried to download 9.5.5 updated for Windows, but it also fails telling me I don't have this version on my system.   Got a response from Ms.  Good all who have this problem - you have an ATI Radeon graphics card?  Driver is causing the conflict.  Uninstall all the stuff ATI goes on ATI web site and install the download of 'single driver '.  Reboot and then you can download and install other fancy programs that come with your graphics card.

  Acrobat Pro v. 10.  Updated MS Office 2010 64-bit.  Now does not open acrobat.  Downloaded the update to version 10 (10.1.3) got ribbons in MS office, acrobat, but refuses to open.  Have uninstalled and installed acrobat four times - same result.  Fixed MS office and yet once installed, same result.  Solution?
