  First question the answer: Yes, it's good enough.  You will get an error that says something like you are trying to install on a more capable product.

  Second question the answer: Yes, it is possible but not supported or recommended.  Cause you all sorts of problems for yourself on the PDF property and versions of PDFMaker.

  If you must run both applications, I recommend a software solution of virtual machine such as VMWARE, Parallels, Oracle VM Virtal Box, etc...

  Try this.  Attach the file you want to open in your main PDF.  Now, to add a button and in the dialog box properties on the Actions tab, select go to a Page view and click the Add button.  A small dialog box will appear to the top heading create go to View - don't do anything with it yet.  Now, double-click the attached PDF file to open it.  Now click the set link in this dialog box.  In the main dialog box, you should now see in the action area-

  Navigate to a Page in another document

  Attachment file:PDF

  I have a list of big, autogenerated files scanned with path full (which is dispersed throughout my home directory), I forgot to do OCR. I would use my standard OCR action to deal with all these.

  Is there a way to have Acrobat Pro XI use this list directly in an action, i.e. without adding each file or directory manually in the dialog files-add action?

  I thought to use the command line, but can't find a command to invoke a command line action as well.

  My most awkward workaround would be: don't forget the current locations, move all the relevant files to a temporary directory, treat this directory, move them, which is not too nice.

  You cannot use a list of files as input for Action.

  However, if what is the Action can be achieved by using a script you can use a script to read this file and treat the files defined in this document, one after the other.

  If you use an Action then your suggestion to copy these files to a temporary folder and then process this file is probably the best. It would even be possible to use a script and save the files in their appropriate location, directly from the Action. But you must delete this temp folder yourself after executing it.   There is a function in the dialog box & User Interface Palette called Wait for activity on front panel.

  I would use that in its own loop updating a functional global variable (even a local variable or global variable could work).  Whenever it is running, it currently puts in the variable.

  Use another loop to monitor this variable.  If the current time is equal to or greater than 2 hours, the longer stored by this expectation for function FPA, then execute your strategy to stop.

  I have a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) app. It uses 3rd party secondary applications to provide instruments and sound effects. They are called audio plugins. They are essentially the DLLs that contain the effect/instrument (applet) or provides the shell she. Applets are of two kinds. DXi and VST.

  When I run one of these cmdlets in any kind, they usually provide a Visual for the first actions a mouse or two response (for example by pressing a button or if you turn a knob) but then refresh the applet screen freezes. The mouse actions are still being processed - I can here the changes, but the screen of the applet is not updating. If I close the applet and then open it again, the changes previously not displayed are now visible.

  There is the ability to run some of these cmdlets in the so-called autonomous mode, where a small .exe file is used to invoke/host of the dll. The cmdlets that have this, work very well in this mode. The other windows in the DAW work very well.

  To begin to address this problem, I need to understand the mechanisms under Windows XP Pro 32-bit (fully updated and .net4) by which an applet would have its screen updated. I guess that there is a call system with a description and a chain of connections that has to happen for that to happen or stop.

  Or if you just know how to solve this problem (no one seems so far) the answer would be even more useful.

  It was Windows services. I'm not sure the RAM being blocked even though my machine is light enough. There are only a small number of applications audio and all windows XP management services have been used. The advantage of the Sonar, it is quite complete. I just used it and freebies from Native instruments.

  This problem is something that has occurred at some point in the last six months, less than 8.5 and before the free NOR, when I remember vaguely a document with sessiondrummer at this time. It's just something I "necessary" to notice since X 1 has been on a couple of weeks. The actual sonar projects seem to go better under X 1 than 8.5. The behavior of the machine in general gives the indication of any permutation of excessive page to compensate for the blockage RAM.

  Having said that, I recognize and approve your excessive services point will seize resources RAM and which can lead to a particular behavior - which it certainly was. However, unless I take the time to find the offending boot service and reproduce the fault I am not able to confirm that the cause was RAM clogging.

  1. make sure that your e-mail program is your default program.

  2. make sure that your Internet Explorer, or your main browser has all its faults.

  You can do both of the above by following these steps...

  Start button > right column, click default programs > click Set Your Default programs...

  1. click on your e-mail program > it doesn't say "this program has all its defaults"?
  If not, click on choose by default for this program > check all boxes below the list > click on save when finished.

  2 do the same as above for your Internet Explorer, or your main browser.

• Extender 360 w / Vista on a domain & to access the actions in the field

  I have Vista Ultimate with Media Center installation running on a domain.  I have a machine that is a file server that has various actions for video, music and photos.  I can access these actions very well if I run Media Center locally on the Vista machine.

  Now I have setup our XBOX 360 as an Extender for the Vista machine.  Everything works find except that I can't access all the actions on the field.  I tried a few suggestions I found online as the creation of a logon script session for Mcx1 local user, but have had no love.  Is there a way to make this work?
