Acrobat 9.0 on Mac OS 10.10.5: a license for this product has stopped working
I'm using Adobe CS4 on Mac OS 10.10.5. Friday, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 version no longer works with this message: "License for this product has stopped working" and the instructions to uninstall and reinstall the program. I did, but now, again, I have the same message pops up in the middle of my workflow. Nothing has changed in my program Adobe CS4/CS5.5 licensed facilities to cause this error.
What is the solution please? I found only the instructions related to Windows on the forums.

Hi people, recently I bought a new machine and can not work how to get Illustrator cs3 or photoshop cs5 working on it...
Photoshop says "license for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contact your COMPUTER administrator or Adobe customer support for help", which is strange, as they say some different before I tried to ask adobe support about this...

customer support said that I have to ask here because they cannot provide support for these products.
First, you try to use a very old product on the latest operating system. So, who can create problems.
CS3 has never been tested with Mac 10.9. Thus, it may or may not work. You can always give it a try.
CS5 should work well on Mac 10.9.
Speaking of the license error, now seems that you have backed up your data using Time Machine from your old Mac and who have restored this new Mac. If so, which damaged the licenses of Adobe products.

We have the program installed on a desktop computer and a laptop computer. I am able to open existing files, but not create new ones on the laptop. I can't do it on the desk.

Adobe Acrobat 9: "license for this product has stopped working" Win7 32 bit
The software says "License for this product has stopped working".
He suggested to contact your system administrator "it's me" or Adobe support "will not talk to me unless I pay them.
.. .or uninstall and reinstall the software. The latter seems not very attractive because it takes a long time to install this program... and memory often does not solve the problem anyway.
So what goes wrong with the license?.. .and how to fix?

When I install Acrobat 9 Pro on my new Macbook 10.7.4, I get the message "license for this product has stopped working" and it told me to uninstall and reinstall. When I first purchased Acrobat 9 Pro and installed on my old Macbook Air, I had the same problem but I was able to fix it with one of the solutions to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html.
However, none of these solutions work or make sense on my Mac version 10.7.4. I have already on live chat with the help of Adobe twice and could not solve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I also have Premium CS5 installed and it works fine).
Just got off the phone with the help of Adobe and they helped me to solve the problem by cleaning my computer of all Adobe and reinstall files.

I followed the Solution 1: delete the folder Preferences of FlexNet Publisher
It did not work.
Now I try the Solution 2: run the licensing repair tool
I get to step 5g and type:
sudo python/Volumes/LicenseRecovery\ 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app
I get my PW.
Then, I always get an error that reads:

Just FYI for anyone else who might have this problem:
- I never had Adobe patch to the continued work to get the error messages like above.
- In desperation, I just deleted everything that I could find on my computer relating to the APS CS3 and reinstalled using the original disk. Everything works fine now!

but I think that your license is double platform. Download the mac version and see if your serial number will be activated. If this isn't the case, at least, you will have the 30 day trial to use while you wait for your platform swap.

In fact, I found the culprit. Earlier in the day my Outlook 2016 has stopped working and during my torture with MS support, they take control remote my system to see why. Well this morning I wake up with the thought that they must have done something to fix the problem. So this morning I ran "msconfig" and low and here's what they had disabled several of my startup programs. So after you have reset the boot on 'normal', everything now seems to work.
More technology improves the worst AC... If you know what I mean!
