  • How to download the latest version of Flash Player

And now a REALLY fundamental question:

I am trying to download the latest version of the Flash player.

I go to what looks like the appropriate Adobe page (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/), and there is a link 'Install now', which I click. Apparently, but it's a misleading link, it just goes to a page full of ads Adobe peddling subscriptions for the rental of various Adobe products. There is a "Adobe Flash Player" link on this page under the "Downloads" section, but it just goes back to the previous page. (Thanks, Adobe).

Anyone knows how to go beyond the cheezy to the real download shilling?

This is the good link and it works fine for me without any redirection. can you check it again?

  • Flash Player 10_3_183_7 for Firefox6.0 on Solaris 10?

    August 26, 2011

    Ladies and gentlemen,

It's already seen all over again.  I have a Solaris 10 under Firefox 6.0 system, and the browser told me to update my Flash Player plugin.  The new version is 10_3_183_7.  The current version is an old edition of 10_3, that works.  But the new version, installed in the same way that the former does not work - the browser does not recognize his presence.  (However, it does not, the error at startup messages issue.)  Two months ago I had the same problem upgrading Flash Player 9 for Flash Player 10 in Firefox 3.6 and 4.0.  In this case, the solution was to connect the four modules of library in the firefox directory to the depends/lib subdirectory.  This allowed the program to find the modules and load and run properly.  But the new version of Flash Player is installed with these links in place.  So what is the new Flash Player missing now?  Someone out there has met and solved this problem?  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Sincerely,

    Ian H. Redmount

I'll install a solaris 10 FCS and try to reproduce the problem.

Still one thing you can try is to remove pluginreg.dat you directory $HOME/.mozilla.

    $cd $HOME/.mozilla

    $find. -name pluginreg.dat

    And delete them all.

And the problem of ray looks a little different.

Why flash player link for /usr/local/lib/libz.so.1 no /usr/lib/libz.so.1

  • Error message "To display the contents of the Flash technology in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat".

I converted MS-Outlook 2010 e-mail folder (and emails) into a PDF portfolio. When I have Adobe Reader X R-clicked, selected, I got and error message "To display the contents of the Flash technology in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat". I get the same msg when I try to open it with Acrobat. He worked the week last in Adobe Reader. I have the latest version of Flash Player installed. The portfolio opens when I click on < more >, but the Index is missing and I can't get to the first email. PC platform. Anyone else having this problem? If so, how to fix?

You are running Internet Explorer by chance? If so, the Flash Player you have is NOT in need of Adobe Reader and Acrobat. If there is a link in the message, use that, rather than assuming that you already have Flash Player. If this does not work, let us know.

  • Troubleshooting Adobe Flash Player and Acrobat PDF Portfolios

Urgent question. We have a large number of master files into a PDF from Adobe portfolio, created in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.

    (1) given that Adobe installs the Flash Player for a separate stand-alone application, the content of existing PDF portfolios is not visible nor accessible.

    (2) I created a new PDF portfolio to solve the problem. The files are not visible after adding files to the portfolio. Adding a second time the same file triggers a message that the file already exists, but the file is not visible in the page layouts.

I get a message that I need to have Adobe Flash Player as a separate application, when I open existing PDF Portfolios and it provides a link to the download page. But my computer already has Flash Player 11 is installed as a separate application.

How can I get Flash Player and Adobe Acrobat 9 to play together to restore the original function?

No, you will have to do exactly what the prompt and install Flash Player - it's a facility different plugin Web browser, so you must install it even if you think you already have Flash player on your computer.

  • Flash Player error 22 look an Acrobat portfolios in browsers

Our school district uses Adobe Acrobat Professional portfolio feature to create portfolios PDF of BOE Agendas and schedules relating to public access to documents of meeting of Board of Directors. Since 2009, we have published about 25 programs each year using the Acrobat portfolio feature. For examples, see http://boe.usd259.org under BOE meetings: agendas and Minutes.

June 16, 2016, for the 20th meeting of the Council of June online, we have published the agenda of the BOE, and the Adobe portfolio worked in browsers with no problems.

The morning of June 20, the bosses began to report that they were unable to see the annexes for portfolios using Windows Internet Explorer and Firefox.

After a repair, it seems that this problem can affect June 16 update to Adobe Flash Player 22 (22.0.0.192). When we uninstall June 16 out of Flash Player 22 on affected PC and install the earlier version of Flash Player, good portfolios work again in browsers.

Any help that you could provide to solve this problem with the June 16 release of Adobe Flash Player 22 would be appreciated.

    Richard,

As you suggested, I have uninstalled the utility NPAPI and ActiveX, restarted the computer cell test and then install the ActiveX V22.0.0.207 and beta NPAPI built. This solves the problem in Internet Explorer on the laptop to test. As the Printscreen shown below, Adobe portfolio now shows files in the preview to the left area.

Thanks a lot for your help.
