  x:\ I do not think it is a 'valid' for what you intend. I used a 2nd computer and the original disk, I don't remember tho if I used windows file transfer or just copy, but I had the disc copied to the flash drive and reinstalled windows 7. I have still no working dvd rom (x 2) they open and close (sometimes), but the drivers need to be mounted to something incomplete. repair is absent as well. some other problems too but its been executed in this way for months (apx5). here and there, I get an email from answers, that's how I arived here really (enroute) hope this helps (a bit)

• Reader and Flash Player does not download

  I work in a school and between terms, that we are updating computers, students use.  The last few words every time we try to update Adobe Reader and Flash Player we havei questions.  We can run updates in Adobe Reader, but is not get it the latest version.  The computers that we are currently trying to put up-to-date have Adobe Reader 10 on them.  Most of the time he must start and stop the download and start it again so he can run the update.  Now they don't end the download at all.  If we try to run more than one download from adobe at the same time, none of the downloads work.  Currenlty we cannot even a single download to run.  All systems are running IE 8.

  After updating my browser it reported that its Flash Player is outdated.

  Flash Player is installed on my computer with Adobe Creative Suite 5. I can check the updates in the Help menu of any program in the suite and it will list all the available updates for all programs of the suite. However, it seems that this does not affect Flash Player updates. Updates, reported that all my programs are up to date despite the fact that my browser says that the plugin Flash Player is outdated. The browser gave me a link where I can go, download and install the latest version of Flash Player, but I decided to wait and know how I can check and update Flash Player, at any time without involving the browser. On the next reboot of the computer, I had a floating window with the logo of Adobe informing me that an update is available for Adobe Flash Player.

  My question is how can I enter this window when I want to and if possible set the update preferences? Apparently there's some settngs somewhere which makes Flash Player for search updates only when the computer restarts and I don't reboot my computer for a very long time.

• Adobe Flash Player does not download properly and I have no idea why.

  I have Windows 7 64 bit and it's a laptop Windows HP Pavilion G6.

  I bought this laptop brand new 4 months ago.  Everything worked well, until about 2 weeks ago.  Then all of an error message would come so I couldn't watch videos on YouTube or elsewhere more... saying "update your flash player"... so I would like to download the latest version of Adobe... it looks "download completed", but I could not even watch videos.  I am looking for the program and it seems.  I would go back to the Adobe site and the version that is on your computer is supposed to fill inside this box, well nothing does ever meet for me.  But when I go to "Programs and features", it is there... I can remove it, but can't do anything else and have no idea why there is a problem or what it is... but I seriously spent hours trying to rectify the situation. I'm ptaying that someone has encountered the same situation, or knows how to fix this for me.

  Try the following.

  First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your desktop.

  Flash Player Uninstaller.

  Once the download is complete, close all browser windows and start the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Then, download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before download. 

  Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

  Start Firefox and see if the video play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

  If you have encountered this problem, please remove any previously downloaded program installation of Flash Player and either:

  Yes, the Flash Player files are otherwise known as swf files.  SWF files can have actionscript code added to them to link to a URL.  IN AS2, the command to post a link to another web page is getURL().

  I constantly get the message to download the latest flash player, however, when I click on the download link, nothing happens?
  All I get is four boxes of warning about downloading, I never get any type of Setup to get on the screen.  I use IE 9, Windows 7 pro 64-bit.

  I'm glad that you got to work.  However, you seem to have all of a joint facility, and I suggest that clean you it.  Follow these steps

  • Download uninstaller http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP (save to disk);
  • Download the Installer (plugin and ActiveX) of http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html (save to disk);
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstaller downloaded;
  • Restart Windows;
  • go to C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash and remove all remaining files in there;
  • Run the downloaded Setup programs.

  You should now have a clean install of just the latest version of Flash Player.

  Hello

  This is due to too much of * adobe.com cookies in the browser.  Remove these and download the file.  It is a known issue, however, I do not have an estimate as to when it will be fixed.

• CS3 Master Collection download link is broken

  My security containing all my installation discs for Mac OS for CS3 Master Collection and CS6 Design & Web Premium Upgrade was stolen last week... I'm working on re-download CS6 upgrade now, but when I try to download the CS3 Master Collection, I get a 404 error with the message:

  In addition, are criminals who have stolen this software (as well as all my other identity information) able to re - register this software, mine make inert? I changed the passwords on both accounts Adobe (one with CS3 for registration and the other with record CS6). From what I gathered, it seems that they are not able to do something with the series unless I them unsubscribe from my current computer, but I wanted to be sure.
