Acrobat 9 Pro forms Tracker

Hi, I have distributed by AA9 forms using my local email and have used the form Tracker to monitor responses. Recently I've required a rebuild of my user profile and since then Tracker has lost its link with the forms distributed files, so I'm more able to see the forms that I distributed. The files are still present in the original directory, and all Adobe application data has been restored correctly.

Can anyone tell me how I can re-point Tracker with the original files of forms distributed.

Thank you

Bob

The forms Tracker data is stored in the Documents and Settings\ 'user' \Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Forms so I would double check that your application data has been restored in fact correctly.

    Hi all

We downloaded Acrobat DC pro of our license website and I cannot apply updates of trail continues on this version, because the installation program uses the direction of the classic track.

As you can see we can download the updated continuous or classic track here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1 & platform = Windows but I fail to find a download for DC pro that uses the installation of the continuous track files.

  • Photos in PDF (Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro) forms

    Hi all

I have a situation where I need two downs determine what image to display.  I have read on this topic and see that the best solution (as I have met) would be to do a button in an image and toggle visibility with some if statements allowing only the image, I want to be visible has given the State a fall of two downs.  It's pretty simple.  However, I don't know how to activate a button in a photo!  What is my Acrobat Pro is too old (9)?  Please help, I need to have this ironed out in the next few days and have no problem buying a newer version if I need to.  Be very specific, I'm an electrical engineer, creating an ad hoc solution; so my code is not as top notch as most people here, which I assume are for the most part, the developers of computer any.  Best,

    -Steve

In the Options tab of the button Properties dialog box, set the other than 'Label only' layout (e.g., icon only). Then you can clock the button icon 'choose' to select a source for the appearance of the button. It may be a page to an existing PDF or Acrobat knows nothing else how to convert to PDF, for example an image.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro - form

    Hello

I created some very nice shapes using the trial version of Acrobat 9 but before I buy the full version I need to know the following.

The look of very good shapes, but when information is entered on them on another PC of the user only get the possibility to print the form.  I want to save them the document and then send it as an attachment. Why can they do that?

1, I saved the PDF form should I do something else

2, it is because it is a trial version

3, all versions of Acrobat Reader can display and enter the required information on a form (we use version 7).

I asked Adobe to support these issues front of purching a license for up to 3,000 people, but they will not endure the trial version.  This answer lead me to think that I should now look else where, for a similar product cheaper.

    Thank you

You must enable extended Reader rights. Look under the Advanced menu

I made a form of barcode using acrobat 9 pro and liveCycle Designer, but the code bar in the gray eyes of acrobat reader... I know that I need some component to apply to the document... but I don't know how to get...

You must activate Reader form with LiveCycle Reader Extensions and include the right to use of barcodes (BarcodePlaintext). You will need to contact Adobe for the price of information.

  • Text not lining correctly in the form fillable. Acrobat 9 Pro

I have a number of documents created in MS Word and then I converted them to PDF via Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. A number of these documents have text fields as the end user is typing their data in - example: a message box on a fax cover page.

The original Word document has this region bordered like this:

    __________________________________________________

    __________________________________________________

    __________________________________________________

At the show (as shown above) is transformed as a field in the field "add" to the form in Adobe Acrobat I'm removing the individual fields Adobe "detects" and instead making a large box of content.

Under properties, I have "multiline" and "long scroll text" selected.

Now the problem... for some unknown reason... some fields work perfectly that when typing in the PDF, fill-in form that the text is typed aligns perfectly with the lines (as shown above). In other cases it is not the tail at all.

I played with the font size, font type, spacing on the original Word document. I've scoured the forums without success and internet (ask anyone else or I do not use the appropriate search terms).

    Adobe.png

Can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

I have also included a screenshot of the document so you can see the wackiness.

You have no direct control of the attack of a multiline text field. A common approach is to control the background color of the field with JavaScript, because the lines are not really necessary when the field is used in Reader/Acrobat. They can be useful when you use the form by hand. • Forms of compatibility between Acrobat 8 Pro and Reader 9

Hello world. I have a problem to be solved as soon as possible. I didn't find answers yet, maybe someone will know what is happening with my forms.

I'm working on a paper prepared by a different designer, I can't reach that person. When I use its forms, this works in Acrobat 8 Pro and Reader 9, users can fill out forms and save a copy. BUT, I made a change in the forms. I use the editing tools in Acrobat Pro 8, made a copy, but this copy has a problem: users cannot fill forms and save a copy in Reader 9. They can only print the form and fill it out by hand. I don't find no option for my forms made compatible with Reader 9 when I save the copy.

You have an idea why the original human forms work but not mine? My client is a little crazy

    Thank you!

    Karine

When they created the form filliable by player. They used the Advanced menu > extend player features...

To make your changes, or you have to were supposed to go to the file menu and select Save a copy that would have removed the rights reader and allows editing of the form.

So to make sure you can have drive to fill the form and allow him to be saved or filled and then sent you must return to the Advanced menu and extend the functionality of player... and select new, then save again.

Note ther is a time 500 limitation by PDF made this way (meaning it can be filled with 500 times) the only other way is to use a special server configuration from Adobe. However, you need to be a company of 250 fortune to pay monthly fees to do this.

  • What are my options for upgrading to Acrobat 8 Pro?

I have a user who sometimes creates and modifies forms using Acrobat 8 Pro. It uses Live Cycle for some forms. We need to upgrade it to a newer version. I am aware that Live Cycle is now a separate license. What are my upgrade options - if any? Just buy a new license for Acrobat Pro and Live Cycle? Can I still purchase XI or DC my only choice. We are not interested in the characteristics of the clouds.

    Thank you.

You have no option to upgrade.

You can only buy DC Acrobat from Adobe.

You will need to purchase LiveCycle Designer separately.
