Acrobat Adobe Installation Pro XI
I bought acrobat adobe DI Pro this year and for some reason, the device has been removed from my computer. Now, I put the CD in to re - install he asks me a serial number, please how do I get the serial number?
If you have the CD, the SN is on the case. If it's an upgrade, you must always the SN from your old version also. As long as you have registered, you can contact Adobe and they should be able to help you if you lost, but remember to check first your CD case.

I have an Adobe creative suite 5.5 Master collection I have installed on my computer only. The installation went perfectly.
I can open any software apart from acrobat pro. He asked me a serial number. It tells me an error when I copy the same serial number with the what I installed my suite adobe and I activated the other software. But, it is the same as on my adobe account.

Installation of acrobat from adobe installed pro XI on a new computer, but to send a message that is not a product "qualified." Adobe's Acrobat pro XI is installed on my computer but is not listed as a product approved in the drop-down menu. The message indicates that the mu serial number is valid, but no registered product is downloaded.

Please make sure that you enter the correct serial number for the product.
Also share you get the exact error message.

You need to install 8 AA on the new OS with your current S/N (the license allows 2 installs). After the installation, do all the updates if you expect any chance of 8 AA to run on the system. If the updates will be installed not in the menu help, then go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/ and install updates in the order. People seem to have been successful with 32 - bit systems and some have reported success with a 64 bit system. After installation, print something to the Adobe PDF printer to make sure it works. If this works, you should be in good shape as printing treat the bottleneck. There is a solution, but you shouldn't have it.
If all works well, then go back to the old machine and disable this installing and uninstalling. Don't forget that your configuration is not supported by Adobe. It seems with every new version of Windows, MS seeks to make the user to upgrade the other hardware and software for compatibility. There may be legitimate reasons for this action, but the game just seems to be Ms.

I have a scenario where a client is running Adobe Acrobat Standard Xi on a Citrix/Terminal Server.
Now, they want to install Adobe DC Pro on the same server, which should be used by a single user.
When I run the Adobe Pro DC installation it calls telling me that it is not recommended to have these programs installed at the same time on the same machine. But there is an option to choose "ignore."

But I'm still not sure how to progress.
What is the disadvantage of having this two programs installed?

the downside is
1. xi acrobat probably will not open (but it might) and, if this is the case, can have a variety of problems such as not being able to edit or save a file.
2 acrobat CC can (but probably won't) have a problem opening.

Install Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro on new device
I am currently in a situation where I have to install Acrobat 9.0 Pro on a new device for one of my users. It is already installed on both devices, so I guessed I'd probably turn off but I can't. The link "disable" in the program is not clickable. I checked some forum discussions, telling people that they should try to open the program for a while. So sometimes the link seems also clickable, I tried this. The program leaving open for 2 hours without a bit of luck.
If I put the license key on the new device where I would like to install the program, it does not accept the key. Which is a problem.What should I do? Try to uninstall one of the old facilities and try again on the new device, the license key? Or it will still save the key as if I just do a normal uninstall?
I tried to contact Adobe support but we were talking on the forum. They are apparently not support Acrobat 9.0 Pro more :-(

Open Acrobat 9 on your system, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.
Restart Acrobat 9 & now try to disconnect / deactivate in the Help menu.
Otherwise just try install on the new system.

After windows update, I tried to reinstall acrobat adobe XI that installed fine, but when I opened it, the language had changed into a kind of Cyrrilic alphabet. Weird! During installation, I choose English as my tongue so have no idea what's going on here. Any experience with this? I used the same dvd that when I initially installed so should have come out as done original installation in ' English.
