  • Acrobat Pro XI freeze during save under...

Hello!  We currently have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, version 11.0.12.  Whenever I try to save under... a pdf document and scroll down to where I want to save, freezes Acrobat.  The Task Manager shows the program as "Not responding" and I have no other choice, but at the end of the task.  I tried the following things:

    • Repair Adobe Installation
    • disabled the Save As optimizes for fast display of Web pages
    • Security disabled
    • update to Acrobat.

The computer is running Windows 8.1 x 64.

Please let me know if there is something else, I can try. Thank you

  • Adobe Acrobat DC does not print the images in point 8.1 of Windows

I am trying to print a PDF document that contains 2 pages on the first page, there is a table containing information on the second page, there is an image that covers almost the whole of the page. However, when you print the PDF file, the first page is printed right on the second page it does not print anything.

Any of you are familiar with this behavior?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi borisdiaz,

Open Acrobat DC, navigate to the Edit menu-> Preferences-> Security (Enhanced)-> disable Protected Mode.

Also, try the solution mentioned in my previous comment.

  • Break during the "save under" for the combined PDF binders - Acrobat Pro XI

Suddenly, Acrobat Pro XI crashes ONLY when "save under" for the bindings of combined file is executed.

    Conditions

    • Two or more files are combined together, sometimes Word or. Documents RTF, combined with PDFs
    • When the workbook is created, I want ", but reduced."
    • Crashing, happens once the images are being processed
    • It started a few days previously worked without crashing, but there
    • I can do a 'Save as reduced' for non-binder files
    • I can do a 'Save as reduced' AFTER 'impression' linking it to a new PDF
    • It is for all documents binding on the network or on my local machine
    • It's for all the computers on the network, then this problem is the workbook files themselves

    I took action:

    • All the updates of Windows and Acrobat have been executed
    • A reboot has finished several times
    • All temporary files have been deleted
    • Tried to uncheck "Save as optimizes for fast Web pages display", no change
    • Tried to reduce 'documents in the recently used list' from 100 to 10, no change

This seems to be due to one or several pages in the documents linking themselves, I think of those with pictures on them. Once again, if I print the workbook as a new PDF and then do a 'Save as reduced' it works very well, to me I think that after the images we been reduced or pixelated when printed, it allows the "reduction of the size" to work because the images are more than "images"?

    Any information is appreciated!

    Reset preferred had no change.

    Repair facility had no change.

I had specified it is happening with the "binder" documents are created by combining RTF files in a PDF file, then try to reduce.

I had already said that this is happening with all the computers on the network, which means that several users have tried, no difference between them.

Looks like that to happen is no longer with new documents, RTF files only 4-5 do this now instead of each of them. Just documents cannot be reduced after linking to PDF, Acrobat still crashes. However, we believe that it is just these 4-5 RTF files that might have some sort of image or text which cannot be rasterized. There are other RTF size files we can work that do a bind and can then be reduced in size.

We assume that these specific documents either have a certain level of corruption or something around those who don't like Acrobat.

  • Crash on Photoshop CC "save under"-is there a fix yet?

My (just downloaded and updated) CC of Photoshop crashes when I "save under". I see dozens of discussions on the net with this pervasive problem, but no final answer seems to exist. I ram 32 GB, the latest processor with Windows 7 and a new graphics card (GTX 750 it) with an updated driver. I really need help on it before you reinstall Photoshop CS6.

  • Acrobat DC crashing

Acrobat DC crashes constantly.  Windows 7.

    Scenario.

Acrobat CC is NOT open, not launched.

In general, I am able to reproduce this error by opening an Explorer window or opening a file (ex..) XLS, doc, etc.).  After you select the file and the preview begins to present, error acrobat appears with something to the effect "DC Acrobat has stopped working windows is checking for a solution... »

After that it throws the error more nothing happens.  Occurs again when you close the Explorer window.

Suggest mistake lies in preview subsystem/integrate acrobat with windows Explorer.  Another wonderful artifact of Agile development.  Forcing users to put up with the incomplete software.

  • Acrord32.exe (Windows 7 and Acrobat cc) breaking, can not save the changes, Windows Explorer crash earlier

Recently decided to upgrade to Acrobat DC after discovering that she will allow me to OCR files that previously forced me to spend of TIFF, and then back.

I downloaded the program and installed today.  I was the conversion of Acrobat 9.  After that I started uninstalling Acrobat 9 Pro, Windows Explorer has started crashing.  I finally restored the computer

I checked the Microsoft forums to see what could have gone wrong, and they seem to indicate that I should run sfc in the prompt, then see if there are problems in the registry. Here, of course, began with today or yesterday (which doesn't make sense - not sure that the report gave me irreparable files, or both fixed and fixed, or what). Other research suggests that I do a disk cleanup, and since then I had the problem of Windows Explorer.

I tried then just install Acrobat DC on Acrobat 9.  This seemed to work properly.  However, now I have problems with Acrobat to crash (although the window remains open?). The message says that acrord32.exe is the culprit.  In addition, a number of my PDF files cannot be replaced - if I want to save my changes, I have to save to a different folder, delete the old file and move the other in its place.

It's basically a nightmare, and I lost a ton of productivity today putting out fires.  Do not have these problems until I started playing with Acrobat.

    Please give me some suggestions.

    Thank you

In fact, I could hope to find the solution on this thread:

Adobe Reader DC contains errors and crashes with Windows Server R2 2012

Going to see how it goes with the preview pane disabled (although she will suck if I can't use TI - hope you guys who patch).

Also, add a folder by the instructions under C:/User / [USER] / AppData.

In the hope that this problem will be solved in between.

EDIT: It looks like it fix the problem.  Acrobat Pro DC now works without any problem.

  • How can I force Acrobat Professional 11 users to use the "save under" verses "Save"?

How can I force Acrobat Professional 11 users to use the "save under" verses "Save"?  I want users to type in a form to fill out, but not to save their changes to the original formula.  I want them to be able to save with a different file name.

You can not force it really, but you can encourage it... For example, you can set the file read-only and add a statement to do it before the file is saved using a script.

    Hi Tdonone,

Looks like there could be a problem with the hard drive. its certainly worth running some tests on if possible. It is a dell machine you may be able to run a hard drive test when the computer starts by using the f8 key, but if not you must download a free software called theultimatebootcd and burn it to a cd and then start the computer on the cd and use the software on the disk to perform checks on the hard drive. Working under Windows 7. This problem just started in the last days. I can compare short (1-2) documents pages, but longer ~ 30 page documents to cause Acrobat to crash. I checked and installed an update, then ran "fix" on my installation, always crashing.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    You can try the following:

    1. run "Auto tag"Document"under 'Accessibility' on the two documents.

    2. now run compare on these documents.

    Hi kimberlym95092042,

The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:
