Acrobat DC removed

Hello

We have created a package in CCP, we deployed it previously without any problem. What we see now and it could be the most recent version of Windows 10 is that Acrobat DC will install, the other suite applications Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc will install and then after that Acrobat DC will delete itself. Other applications of the suite remain. The package was created in May and we had no problem then.

We have recreated the package and we will test it.

Someone else has seen this before?

Thank you

Ben

To answer your question - Yes and no...

Remember that Acrobat uses a separate installer system from the rest of the CC tools.  I know that the rest of the CC strives to the same robust installer of tooling that Acrobat has, but they are not quite there yet.

What I might suggest is to create two - separate - independent - packages.  One for CC tools (they tend to install happy together) and another for Acrobat using enterprise deployment tools.  Then follow the CCP back-end tools.

Why keep a separate installer for Acrobat?

  • Acrobat has different & more deep OS integration than other CC tools.  Fonts, the Printer Spooler subsystem /, Office, IE, Chrome, FireFox, Explorer, etc. (the others are in HKLM, whatever in HKCU)
  • Acrobat is on a different CC release cycle.
  • Acrobat has deployment of different CC tooling companies.

Where can I find these magic bits of Acrobat/Reader deployment... Acrobat-Reader Toolkit Enterprise Edition family

Good luck with your efforts.

    My OS Windows 10 was uninstalled, then reinstalled.  On the re-installation of Windows 10, my Acrobat 10 program has been removed.   Any advice on obtaining a copy re-installed (I don't have my old serial numbers).

    Hello

    I regret however even if you install Acrobat 10 out of 10 Windows, you may encounter problems because it is an incompatible version of Windows 10.

    Only compatible with Windows 10 versions are XI and DC.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 removes them during the uninstallation of Acrobat Pro DC!

    Absolute I hate the new version of Acrobat - since I had 9 of Acrobat installed for years I decided to remove DC Pro. All of a sudden after uninstalling my Acrobat 9 went too? What the hell? Customer support ask me my serial number - of course his fills far back to the United States while I'm in Europe. I understand coaxing users to upgrade but with previous versions is not the best way to make friends.

    Hello

    That's right, DC Acrobat would automatically uninstall any previous version installed on your system.

    So if you want to reinstall your Acrobat 9, you might check out the following link to download and install Acrobat 9.

    Download Acrobat products | 9, 8

    You can see the following link to check the serial number of your product and serialize it with the serial number.

    How can I get rid of PDFMaker and Connect from Microsoft Office toolbars? They are quite irritating and that they do not disappear, even after deletion.

    I use Acrobat 8 Professional and Microsoft Office 2003.

    There is no way to do it when it is already installed?

    Yes you can. Use Add/Remove programs on your system.

  • Remove the compatibility with older Versions of Adobe Acrobat

    I'm trying to scan hundreds of documents as PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5. I'm on Mac, the latest version of El Capitan and find that Preview 8.1, the PDF Viewer integrated for OS X, has difficulties to open a portion of my scanned documents. Interestingly, the only ones who have color in them. Black and white analysis open very well. I think it's an Apple problem, and not what I'm here for.

    Anyway, I went back to PDF it wasn't opening and Acrobat to remove compatibility with earlier versions of Acrobat. I kept compatibility with "Acrobat 4.0 and later versions. After that the file opened without problem in the preview. I noticed that the quality of the new PDF degraded slightly when I removed the compatibility. I guess that's because Acrobat must perform a new rendering of the PDF file.

    Is there a way I can create a PDF file to a JPEG file that is only compatible with versions 4.0 and later? I rather do pretty early in my workflow, and then go back and remove the compatibility and degrade image quality.

    Thank you!

    Hi Link648099,

    First thing, Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac El Capitan.

    The PDF created in Acrobat 9 shouldn't be compatible with version 4, please check the levers of the compatibility of the https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/understanding-pdf-compatibility-levels PDF

  • Acrobat help. Remove sensitive content from PDF files

  • Acrobat gave me an error message 110 and will not leave

    I have Mac OS 10.9.5 and Acrobat XI.   I was working in a document.  I used Safari to download another document in Acrobat.  Acrobat then gave me an error message saying a problem this 110 processing document.   I press OK and the error message appears again and again.   I can't close the problem document, quit Acrobat, see Acrobat help or go back to my work.   Searching the forum was not useful.  Thank you.

    Thanks for the reply but this is not useful.  Acrobat was locked and there was no way to use the commands that you recommended.  I called Adobe support, fired THREE times a different person by staff who did not know what they were doing, and finally the number 4 was qualified and solved the problem.  The solution was to go to the apple logo, force quit acrobat, then remove two plugins.  This mistake cost me 2.5 hours of working time.  I am extremely displeased with Adobe support.

    Hi Mike,.

    If you purchased a subscription of Acrobat (and do not have a creative cloud membership), follow the steps described in this document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-trial-removed-previous-version.html

    The link to the installation program you need appears at the bottom of the document, in the section "subscribed to Acrobat.

  • Bottom of CMYK missing in Acrobat XI

    I did work in InDesign, export to PDF and it seems to be well done. But when you open it in Acrobat XI removes a red background in CMYK mode, I've added a few pages to pdf in InDesign. I open it with other applications, and it works well. Please I need to know what's the problem with him. Because I've tried everything, and the only way I got it continues to change red background for picture .tif in one of the pages to delete document metadata information appears in new red background.

    Thanks in advance

    I found the solution!

    Thank you for this conversation:

    Export InDesign CS6 to Acrobat XI

    In the preferences panel, disable the option "replace document colors", I use the Spanish version "integer colores documento '. It is marked by default

    I hope that no more points like that.

    And I don't understand why I can't setup Acrobat X with my account of Cloud Cleative.

    Thank you!!

  • Installed Acrobat Pro, but cannot progress after the software license agreement screen

    Hi all

    I just installed Acrobat Pro, but when I run it, I get the Adobe Software License Agreement screen with no text inside and with the buttons of towing, Quit and Accept. I click on accept, but nothing seeems to arrive and I can launch Adobe Acrobat! It's really frustrating! I use MAc OS X 10.8.2

    Please can someone help.

    See you soon

    Hi Saviomfx,

    It is a known issue with Acrobat XI

    Issue: Mac OS only. The launch, a blank screen of the EULA is displayed, that cannot be accepted and Acrobat does not run. This problem can appear if you have any of the installed products of CCM or Creative Suite and you tried to install Acrobat XI from a different source.

    Solution: Launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite. Then, turn it off by choosing Help > deactivate. Quit the application. Then start Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for CCM subscription product, launch it and choose the license of this software to reactivate the product of the CCM. If a CS app, launch it and turn it back on.

    Please visit: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-xi-reader.html

    Or you can try this:

    Go to Applications-> Utilities-> Adobe Installers-> Adobe Acrobat X-> remove Acrobat X using the application uninstaller.

    Relaunch Acrobat XI and try to accept the EULA.

  • Issue license Acrobat XI

    When I start running Acrobat XI, the Adobe software license agreement screen opens, with no text inside, and the only options are to accept or to quit smoking. Hit the accept button does nothing, so I have no choice but to leave. When I do this, Acrobat closes as well. All other CS6 software I downloaded from the creative cloud works beautifully. What gives? How can I fix?

    Please try this:

    Go to Applications-> Utilities-> Adobe Installers-> Adobe Acrobat X-> remove Acrobat X using the application uninstaller.

    Relaunch Acrobat XI and try to accept the EULA.

    Feel free to post the results.

  • Display problems with updates on Windows 7

    I used Windows 7 without problem for 2 years, but since 6 weeks, EACH Windows 7 update caused display problems (halos, horizontal and pink & light green streaks forming). My hardware withdraws like ok, so my only solution was to uninstall updates. I'm an artist, and my computer became unusable as tool-art. I noticed that people who use Windows 10 have the same problem. It's time to (gag) switch to Mac? Does anyone have a solution for this?

    "We noticed that the issue has not been marked as an answer yet and we were wondering if you solved the problem."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Yes, reinstalling my favorite of all time, Windows XP SP3 - that support has been extended. After weeks of removal of partitions, re-formatting of C drive, re - install Windows 7 and hacking and tweaking, I gave up. Then, when I started transferring files from 7 and re - install the software, my screen went new loony.
    Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat Reader removed the problem of XP.
    Eventually, I'll buy a laptop to the internet and use XP on this computer for my art and animation programs. Gossip says Internet 7 and 8 are not as secure as XP, so I'm in no hurry to buy. People are the display problems on Windows 10, too. So maybe there is a mole of Apple in the Windows technology crew.
