  I am using the AVMenuItemExecute() function in an external window. I mean I have a document open in another window (to aid

  AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams or a feature like this).

  In fact, the problem is that the AVMenuItemExecute() is running on the windows of Acrobat that is emplty in my case, because I opened the PDF file in another window.

  Do you know if it's possible or not? Whethet it is possible how can I do?

  As you can imagine, MenuItemExecute() is on the menu... running items these does ARE menu items that in Acrobat/Reader and NOT in any application based on an external window.

  What menu item you try to run?  Perhaps there is another way to access this feature?

  Even if you can load the version 7, you don't want to. Adobe products are attacked more than Windows itself these days. Acrobat 7 path is not secure. The current is version 9, and they have just updated that yesterday because the previous version 9.2.0 had serious vulnerabilities.

• Stop the closure of the full Acrobat Search window of Ctrl-W

  When I do a complete search of Acorbat a folder tree, it may take a while for all the hits is and some time to work through the hits.  Generally, several PDFs are open as I work through the hits.  As I close the PDF files with ctrl-O, it is very easy to accidentally close the full Acrobat Search window, which means to always waiting to redo the search and find my way to my current place in the list of successes.  I think it's highly inappropriate for ctrl-W to close the full Acrobat Search window in the same way it closes the PDF files.  It is especially risky in Windows 7, where the window frames are translucent and the window with focus is highlighted in a way that makes it very difficult to distinguish from windows without the accent.
