Acrobat Pro XI won't validate serial number Internet connection
Hello-
I recently bought a new version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. The software has been installed successfully. A dialog box appears indicating that I had 30 days to validate the serial number. I clicked on the button OK to post on the Internet (I have access to the Internet on this PC) and received a message that my computer was offline and that I had to try again online. I turned off my Windows Firewall and retried to validate with no luck. I have not yet installed the anti-virus software so that may not be blocking it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Adobe and now I have 0 days to validate the serial number. Always receives the same message as before - I am offline. Please tell us how to solve this problem. I check that I can communicate with Adobe servers.

I have checked your account details & found that Acrobat Pro XI was an upgrade of the Acrobat X Pro version.
Now while activating XI Acrobat pro, you must enter the key to series of Acrobat X pro also.
Please make the right choice is to say choose your version of Acrobat earlier & enter the key of this version in order to activate successfully XI Acrobat pro.
You can find the key of your previous Acrobat version using this link find your serial number.

We're sorry, but the serial number would work only for Acrobat DC and not acrobat XI.
You will need to upgrade your operating system to windows 7 to install acrobat DC.

I need to install CS2 on my new computer. Adobe sent me a link to install the latest version of CS2. It won'taccept my serial number that is on my CD. I can install it from the CD, but it also wants my serial number and then disconnects when I get my serial number. The only way I can use it is to use the trial for a month. I called Adobe today and they said I would need to go to the chat room. No one answers. I finally got someone to answer this afternoon and after an hour wait so she can check the solution she sent me to the same link that my serial number doesn't work with. I tried the cat new tonight and got the same message to be patient and go to the forum. I waited over an hour and then Adobe cat simply disconnected. I guess it has expired. Anyone has a solution. I don't want to move to a monthly plan. CS2 does everything I need to do, and he is already paid.

We've checked your account details, I wish to inform you that Acrobat pro 10 and creative cloud on the same machine may be in conflict with each other.
Reason: CS 6 can also be powered by cloud creative all CS 6 software are included in Creative cloud, however, Acrobat pro 10 is not included creative cloud.
A permit is override by creative cloud subscription, each product get activate your subscription but not Acrobat 10. That's why it asking serial number whenever you open it.
Recommendation:
- Install the last 11 Acrobat on the machine where you installed CC
- Use CS 6 and Acrobat 10 on another machine with serial number if necessary.

Please try the steps that might help you below:
Mac:
Open a Finder window. Choose go > go to folder.
Type "/ etc" (make sure that you are signed in as an administrator).
Select the hosts file and open it.
Find all entries that refer to activate.adobe.com and remove them. For example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete it.
Save the file and close it.
Windows:
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Select the hosts file and open it.

While activating Acrobat 10 running the set up, you must enter the serial number for Acrobat 8 (Qualifying Product).
