Acrobat Reader DC Office

Hello!

I'm going to open an office and I want to know if I need to buy a license to use Acrobat Reader DC, or it's free and if I can use this only for download from the official site.

Thank you!

Adobe Reader is free, and Yes, you can use it in your office.

Download official website is a given. It's the only way you can be assured that you do not get a corrupted version.

Download it here: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions

  • Attach an Office or Acrobat reader file to Lotus Notes 8.5

    Hello world

We have a problem in our society with attach them files, we use Lotus Notes 8.5 as a mail client and also Office 2007 and Acrobat reader 10
The problem is, when you use any Office document for example, (it can be the word, excel...) and you want to attach the file to the option ' send to ' for the mail (in this case, Lotus Notes 8.5) client it pops up the following error:
"There is no associated messaging program to perform the requested action, please install a mail program."
We have Lotus Notes 8.5 as a current email client, and he's the ONLY client we have.
In the software Acrobat reader produces exactly the same problem.
Could someone help us? We are fighting with this for a long time
    Thank you

This problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with Office.  There is a problem with Windows and your e-mail client.  Apparently, Lotus Notes is not a handler for the recipient of the e-mail ' send to '.  So, to add a send that contains the shortcut to use Notes.  Your Notes documentation or the support for Notes web site you must give the answer on how to do it.  Basically, you need to add a shortcut to Notes in your file send to.  Path of the folder is %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo for Windows 7, but you did not mention your version of Windows, so if it is different, the path may be different.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 and Microsoft Office word 2007 does not work

They gave me a laptop Sony Vaio FRO my birthday about a month ago. I work from home, I work online and I use everyday in my computer. The two programs I use the most are gives me a hard time and not let me use a reason any. The software came on the laptop so I called Sony and they told me that it should work fine, and if I have problems to contact microsoft. Well, my point is its does not work and it is causing me loose not being able to work money. Im very frustrated and im desperately need help. Please if anyone can tell me what to do to fix this problem I would be very happy. IM at my wits end here. Acrobat 8 reader telling me I need a serial number to continue using the program and will close and I lose all my work. Also, Microsoft Office Word 2007 again I need a product key number. I use these programs daily to work, I can't cope with this. They keep making me lose all hours of work ive done. Help, please!

Adobe Acrobat Reader is free, it shouldn't charge for continuous use.  Packages of creator Adobe (Adobe Acrobat Standard, Pro, Pro Extended) cost money.  Microsoft Office is often loaded on a computer as a trial package.  You need to follow up with Sony on these items to make sure if they sent packets of the trial or fully paid packages, and if they are supposed to be freed from the packages that your only relief must come from Sony - we cannot help you here.

    Hi judithl34724699,

If you want to convert Word files to PDF with the Adobe Reader application then it is possible with the service Pack of PDF. Try to use the service on the web: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf

Also try to use a different file type.

    Thank you

  • IF I use acrobat reader to the office, buy this program?

If I do not download intranet too?

Adobe/Acrobat Reader is free, whether you use it at home or in the office.

Note that if you want to distribute within the company, you will need a distribution agreement with Adobe.

  • Acrobat Reader DC does not print in OneNote

When I try to print to OneNote from Acrobat Reader DC my computer hangs and requires a hard stop.  I can print to a printer without any problems.

    Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.007.20033

    Windows 8.1

    Microsoft Office 2015

I did not have this problem with earlier versions of Acrobat Reader.

Acrobat Reader DC is the only version of Acrobat Reader currently available for download on adobe.com.  If there is no quick fix, is there a way to access an earlier version?

Back to Acrobat Reader XI and made a complete repair (restoring) the Office of 2013.  I do not know what change has helped, but things are working now.

  • Acrobat Reader DC Adobe Download Manager hangs with a blank to invoke on Windows 7 window

I'm trying to install Acrobat Reader DC. My ultimate goal is to get PDFMaker COM component plug-in software for Office 2010 is installed as a side effect of the installation of Acrobat Reader DC. I found nothing in my research on the web indicating that it is a separate setup program, if someone please correct me if I'm wrong.  But underneath I report a problem which may be the reason why I can't get PDFMaker installed:

I'm running on a Windows 7 computer. Control Panel displays:

The sequence of steps I did to see this problem:

    1. Uninstall all old versions of the player and all supplements com
    2. Run Firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; RV:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0)
    3. Sailed to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions
    4. Uncheck the McAfee Security Scan Plus utility item.
    5. Click the install now button.
    6. Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer!) and sailed on my download folder.
    7. Hovered over the readerdc_en_ha_install.exe file and I saw:img1.png
    8. Double clicked on the .exe file.
    9. Then I see the empty window with no control of the dialog, buttons text or anything:img2.png
    10. I tried several times and it is repeatable.
    11. I left that window open for a long time.
    12. This is not due to a problem with local network connectivity.
    13. I can download the installer large using the direct download link. But installation does not install the add-on from the PDFMaker COM (Control Panel not shown not in the section programs uninstall).

    Hi Brent,

I can understand your concern, let me know to guide you in the right direction.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a simple PDF reader, which does not provide for PDF maker plugin.

You will need to purchase Acrobat to use PDF Creator function in different applications like MS Word.

  • How to print Adobe Acrobat Reader Windows 8.1 DC and IE 11

I have Windows 8.1, IE 11, Office 365 and a free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. When I right click to print, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC does not appear in the list of printers (said list includes my HP, Microsoft XPS printer and send them to a single Note). I want to 'print', in other words, create and save a PDF document in my file in Word format, as I have done in the old free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader DC several times. Any suggestions?

    Hey markr75297210,

Please post on the Adobe Forums.

Please note that the features of Adobe PDF to create PDFs is available with Adobe Acrobat (paid version) and not Adobe Reader (free version).

You have Acrobat installed on your system?

If so, then it might be necessary to manually install the Adobe PDF printer on your computer.

You can check the link for the same mentioned below:

    Manually install the printer PDF

Let me know how it goes.

  • Error 16 recording Acrobat Reader DC for Windows event

    Hello

I uninstalled Acrobat Reader XI.0.10 today (which had no eventlog errors at all for my Win 7 x 64, nicely updated Office Update), and made a clean install of the new Acrobat Reader DC Dutch.

The drive works perfectly, but whenever I start the application, it creates a 16 red error in the windows event logger. The only information of the event contains readings that "Acrobat reader tries to reach a component that is not installed or damaged on my computer. Try to re - install it... »

I did, but the 16 error keeps coming back on... I completely uninstalled CD player and reinstalled the old Acrobat Reader XI.0.10 once again, and all 16 errors are gone, so there must be a bug in the new drive DC-application/install.

Anyone have the same problem or a solution?

    Thanks, Rik (Belgium)

This problem should now be resolved in the quarterly July 2015.
