  I could be wrong, but I do not think that you used to use Adobe Reader. I think you used to use Adobe Digital Editions software instead - a separate app.

  The documents are automatically save instead of being able to open.  I'm using Acrobat Reader DC, Firefox, Gmail.  On Gmail, used to allow me to click on the arrow and select open or save.  Then I would record under and I could save the document where I wanted to.  Now, the only option for the arrow is a download and it downloads automatically.  Won't let me open.  I have selected Acrobat as always enable in the settings of Firefox.

  When I try to load or use Acrobat Reader, I get a message that Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close.   The problem seems to be related to the fix to windows installation I get a message asking if the patch installation is correct or who are permitted.   If I try to remove Acrobat Reader I get the same message and deletion does not continue.   If I try to download a new Acrobat Reader installation stops with a message that Acrobat Reader is already installed.   What should do?

  Any suggestions on how to save a file Acrobat Reader in iCloud drive in iOS.  It doesn't seem to be one obvious solution other than emailing myself or using Dropbox. Surprising Adobe has not yet added this feature of Acrobat Reader.

  While we do not currently provide support for the economy to iCloud Drive, iOS 10 will add this feature, and if you install the public beta version of iOS 10, you can try:

  IOS 10, when the document is opened in Acrobat Reader, press the ' share' button to the right of the toolbar at the bottom. Then select "Open in... ' and then select 'Add to iCloud Drive' in the bottom row of the icons.

  It is also interesting to note that with the latest version of Acrobat Reader (even with iOS 9), if you open a file to iCloud by car (via 'more places' in the scene selector), all changes will be saved to iCloud by car.

  I don't know if it's possible, but I try to auto exit Acrobat Reader when the last page of the PDF file is reached (after a short delay). That's what I did:

  • On the last page, added a couple of the Page open actions:
    • First action is to execute a JavaScript script with this code to delay of 10 seconds:

  app.fs.useTimer = true;

  app.fs.usePageTiming = true;

  • Second action is Execute a menu item:

  File-> exit

  Unfortunately the file-> exit action seems to be deleted (I use Acrobat Professional 9 Professional on Windows 7 x 64.

  • If you are o Windows computer, please try using the cleaning tool to uninstall Adobe Reader, Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs, in which case you want Mac you have to manually uninstall Adobe Reader.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Install the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader-DC using this link http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
