• Download the ACS software... ?

  I don't know about the 90-day trial; However, is there a way to download a full version for windows to the Cisco site. I am able to download the software so the isn't a problem. I don't see anywhere to download a full version and not only test 90 days?

  You must purchase the software to full version. It is only available on CD. When you buy the ACS software, it comes with a device (ACS1111). I do not see the neccessity or the advantage of Cisco made available for download on their website the version full of GBA.

  It is always recommended that you try before you buy.  Most of the Adobe software are available for a trial period of 30 days which is enough to check the basics of different products to see which could be better adapted to your needs (http://www.adobe.com/downloads.edu.html).

  I recommend that you post your question in the forums for these products and provide more details on what your plans are.  More people know more they can offer.

  I use the Adobe Production CS6 software.  If I upgrade the system to 10.7 or higher, the also Adobe will become unusable?

  CS6 works with 10.9 on my system, it seems likely that 10.7 would also work with CS6. You should not move unless you have a full backup and bootable from your system existing.

  Yes you are right. You can use it indefinitely, they expire.

• Can I find out what software/product changed a file?

  I can look at the details to enumerate the contents of a folder and see when the file has been modified. What I'm trying to determine, is what product it has been opened / change with?

  On Windows XP

  I don't think that this is possible without some sort of 3rd party Application.  You might be able to enable auditing of files in XP Pro, but at best it only notes which user last file access and not what application.

  I have a PC Compaq Presairo Vista Home Edition I bought at Circuit City and want to upgrade to Vista Ultimate.  When I search on the web, I found many Vista Ultimate Upgrade software produced different names at various prices, widely.  I also see a lot of problems cited by those who have tried to level.

  My main reason for the upgrade is to install and use Microsoft IIS. I want to do it more quickly and easily as possible.

• Email support for a software product

  I have a HP Pavilion dv7-4285dx supplied with the program "Fences Pro". I love this software. Now that I bought a HP Envy 17 laptop, I would like to use this software on my new computer that did not include it. I tried everything I could to try to find this program. This is not the case. I spent the last 30 minutes trying to find a way to send an email to HP Support, but I guess that HP does not support either. I ended up here to try to ask

  "Is that what someone out there knows where I can find this program? I have no qualms about paying for it. And, Yes, my use of caps is intended to show my Frustration with HP I am as fanatical as a new Mac user would be on their Ipad!

• stand-alone server from acs 2008 available software?

  I use acs 4.2 on a windows 2003 server sp2 in my current network. The network has been replaced and I'm a software/windows 2008 Server and build the application. I'm a bit confused as too the available software. The acs software only 5.4 I see is for the appliance and vmware. Is this software available for stand-alone servers is not end of life?  Or can I use acs 4.2 on the stand-alone server and update all the way to 5.4. I think they would have a base at one of the levels 5.x package... Any information would be appreciated

  I would like to inform you about the following things:

  1 ACS 5.x cannot be installed on the server of widnows as ACS 4.x

  2 ACS 5.x cannot be installed on the vmware (Linux-based) or as a device.

  3 ACS 4.x is a box of windows-based and ACS 5.x is a device based on linux/VMware

  4. you can configure vmware or a device such as a stand alone ACS5.x box.

  5 ACS 4.2.1.15 is available up to now and is still not end of life.

  6. you can upgrade the ACS 4.2.0.124 to 4.2.1.15, however it is not compatible with windows 2008 r2 box.

  7. you is impossible to pass the ACS ACS 5.4 4.2, you can buy seprate for ACS 5.4 license and then you can migrate the database from 4.2 to 5.4

• Video Production management software recommendations?

  Can anyone recommend any software production management? What do you use? I did a google search and I come up with some results of calendar, but nothing that evolving upward to our needs.

  What we seek is the possibility of:

  1. Manage the start of filming Dates
  2. Manage the end of filming Dates
  3. Manage the how long it will take for the (current) edition
     
  4. The steps for editing. eg Pre-production (rental) > Shooting > Rough cut screening > investor screening > compile > dubs > master the delivery.

  I have attached a file for you guys to show what we are getting. The idea of the software is to make our society more efficient, with little or no down time, this also will make us all responsible for our work.

  Any recommendations would be great!

• How can I use Cisco ACS to save Shell commands

  Hi guys, pleeeease how can I configure Cisco ACS to do command authorization on my Cisco 3660 router. I get the accounting logs and authentication but no newspaper that show orders issued by users - shell and it's the most important paper that I need. I read materails and download articles on the site of Cisco... but the thing is still does not give me the papers.

  I have these lines on my router:

  AAA authorization config-commands

  AAA authorization exec default group Ganymede +.

  AAA authorization commands 15 default authenticated if

  AAA authorization network default group Ganymede +.

  It's funny, when I turn on debugging of the authorization of the AAA on the router, it shows me every command being sent by the user on the debug log. But nothing shows under Administration TACAC + on the Cisco Secure ACS. What is responsible for this?

Thank you guys, I got about the features of this ACS software through this forum, keep up the good work.   If I understand what you're asking correctly, the answer is not in the authorization, that it is in accounting. I set up on my routers and send to ACS orders that level 15 privilege users enter on the router.

  orders accounting AAA 15 by default start-stop Ganymede group.

I know I have to get a PAK started with Cisco, but I have no idea how to do to start the process, another thing that confuses me is that I need a Smartnet account and I tried via chat Cisco but redirected me to a phone number and then delivered four times until disconnected...

  When you buy GBA, you should get a PAK of dealer by delivery. IF you have not received one, please contact your dealer. If they claim ignorance, they control the tools CCW and CSCC (Workspace of trade of Cisco and Cisco Service contract - tools used by Cisco resellers to manage customer orders and support right).

  SMARTnet is optional and mandatory for the upgrade eligibility and support of TAC.

  A registered cisco.com (Smartnet not required) account is required to get the key, once you have the PAK in hand.

  If you have the ACS 1121 device, you'll need the DVD to reinstall the recovery software is available from the Cisco page:

  Download software > Products > Security > identity management > Cisco Secure Access Control System > Cisco Secure Access Control System 5.3

  It is the name of the file:

  ACS_v5.3.0.40.ISO

  The 'acs reset-config' command removes only the configuration of the ACS GUI, but it is not re - install the software.
