  CIAC 3.0 turns on 2.3 CPO. No 2.2.

  You get 2.3 CPO and CCP 9.3.1 with a few fixes.

• CIAC 4.0 manual installation, problems with the procedure

  I m trying to install the latest version of the CIAC and I m facing some problems on the configuration phase.

  I m using the following document:

  Downloaded from the portal of Cisco.

  On page 34, we can found the procedure for installing the adapter of REX.

  The procedure is very confused and not able to find where to put the REXAdapter.xml I m, that it points to C:\Rex\Deploy, but the CIAC device is based on linux and not able to find this file on the server of the portal I m.

  Also the adk.zip is absent from packs of automation CPO.

  The 4.0 unit has already installed RexAdapter. You can view the list of Service link adapters.

• Grids in forms

  I'm still learning CSP and did not have the joy of any training yet, but I have a question about the right way to do forms of grid components.

  Currently, I have a form to trigger a change to a physical server. The server information is a normal shape.

  In addition, I would like to be able to enter data for multiple network cards and disks.

  My solution was to create three separate service elements, server, DFU, and disk.

  Then I created three separate dictionaries of those specifying that DFU, and the disk must be represented by grid.

  Then, I created three distinct forms with DFU again and drive show as a grid.

  Finally, I created a service that includes three forms.

  I think that this is not the right way to do it because within this plan, I can only generate an element of service for normal form, the grid forms are not listed and so I have to adjust my adapter to send everything through CPO in order to get to that data.

  Can someone tell me if this is the right way to do it?

  The method I used to pass the gates of plan service delivery is to use a ServiceLink agent configured to use the methods of CUD NSAPI service point (point of Service Update listener adapter). The key is to use a transformation to take the grid for the shape data and convert it to an API of NS request. Here is a document that I wrote explaining my agent "Service point Updater." It requires some conventions for the dictionary as having a "Status" attribute, but it can be adjusted according to your needs.

  This document describes how to upgrade the service elements in a grid using a ServiceLink agent.

  The dictionary SIBG (base grid point Service) should include only the properties that you want to update more an additional field called status.

  Status for each line can have a value of New, Update, Delete, or void. Grid lines with a value of empty state (or any other value for that matter) will remain intact. The rules of form that call JavaScript are used to set the value of State appropriate for each line that users interact with the form.  An example of this can be found in service of organization change in the accelerator MultiCloud to CIAC Starter Edition Kit.

  The form containing the dictionary must have each of the editable server only (ie. not checked)-side disabled display property. Be aware that properties hidden by default this option is checked, then you must uncheck this option.

• Unable to connect to the VMware web service: invalid key file

  We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

  Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

  We tried the following workarounds:

  • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
  • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
  • Re on the keystore password

  No change at all...

  Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

  You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

  It is also possible to host Adatper framework/java problems I've seen often.

  If you need more information, you will need to prosecute TAC with your service contract please. Normally, we try to solve no newspapers on the forums.

  Hi, a few times explains how to use webtarget and that acivty use to run the Powershell script on the webtarget?

  My use case is

  Web targets are not used with Powershell.

  The powershell execute script runs only on a windows target. If you run VMWARE Powershell CLI type, you must run the script powershell on your CPO box and then call your configuration of VMware using the CLI and then run the CLI commands.

  Web targets are to seek to call soap API, scratching of the web, web services, etc., but are not intended to be called powershell scripts.

  If you have a problem please open a case with TAC or at least let us know who you are and where you are using OPC. I see you as a guest user... are you with Cisco? Or a partner or?

  Then MCAK manage multiple connections of AWS in the current version?

  If this is not the case, if there is a plan made me know.

  My customer wants to use several AWS regions (USA and Tokyo) because of the BCP/DR.

  Yes, multi-Cloud is designed to manage multiple connections in the same or multiple platforms. You can even have multiple connections to the same AWS region by using different accounts to facilitate the assignment of chargeback. You also have the option of specifying and area availability.

  PS. a new version of the multi-Cloud kit will be available in late February with the offering of the CIAC Enterprise Edition 3.1.1 complete future scalability. For AWS, it will also support IP elastic, management and distribution of key pairs. The current MCAK for Starter Edition is recommended for the proof of concept only at this time.
